Abstract
Materiales activos de electrodos positivos para usarse en baterías de iones de litio y de polímeros de iones de litio contienen oxidos de compuestocuaternarios de manganeso, níquel, cobalto y aluminio donde uno de los cuatro está presente en niveles superiores a 70 por ciento mol. Los oxidos de compuestopueden ser litiados para formar materiales activos de electrodos positivos que son estables sobre por lo menos diez ciclos de carga/descarga a niveles devoltaje superiores a los 4,8 voltios, tie nen capacidades de más de 200 mAh/g.
