Description
Claims (12)
- 화상 형성 장치에 있어서,복수의 화상 담지 부재와;상기 화상 담지 부재를 주사하기 위한 광 빔을 생성하는 복수의 발광 소자와, 상기 복수의 발광 소자에 의해 생성된 광 빔을 상기 화상 담지 부재에 편향시키는 하나의 폴리곤 미러와, 상기 복수의 화상 담지 부재 중 적어도 하나에 대응하여 설치되며 상기 폴리곤 미러에 의해 주사된 광 빔을 수신하여 해당 화상 담지 부재에 화상을 기록하기 위한 제1 동기 신호를 생성하는 빔 검출기를 구비하는 광학계와;상기 회전 폴리곤 미러의 각 면에서의 오차와 관련된 정보를 기억하는 기억부와;상기 기억부의 값에 기초하여, 상기 빔 검출기에서 출력된 제1 동기 신호를 지연시킴으로써 상기 빔 검출기가 설치되지 않은 화상 담지 부재에 화상을 기록하기 위한 제2 동기 신호를 생성하는 생성부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 기억부는 상기 폴리곤 미러의 각 면에서의 지연량을 기억하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 빔 검출기에 의해 생성된 제1 동기 신호의 간격을 측정함으로써 상기 지연량을 산출하는 산출부를 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 빔 검출기에 대응하는 면으로부터 n 면 앞에 주사되는 광 빔이 존재하는 경우, 상기 산출부는 상기 제1 동기 신호로부터 n 면 뒤의 상기 제1 동기 신호를 측정함으로써 상기 지연량을 산출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 산출부는 각 면에서의 상기 동기 신호의 간격과 상기 간격의 최소값 사이의 차이를 계산함으로써 상기 지연량을 산출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 산출부는 상기 측정 작업을 복수회 수행하여, 그 측정값의 평균값에 기초하여 상기 지연량을 산출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 산출부에 의해 산출된 값의 최대값과 최소값 사이의 차이가 소정값보다 큰 경우에는, 상기 산출부에 의한 산출을 재차 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 광학계를 복수 구비하고, 복수 컬러의 화상을 중첩시킴으로써 하나의 컬러 화상을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 화상 담지 부재를 4개, 상기 광학계를 2개 구비하고, 상기 각각의 광학계가 2개 컬러의 화상을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 화상 담지 부재를 2개, 상기 광학계를 1개 구비하고, 상기 광학계가 4개 컬러의 화상을 주사하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,블랙 토너 화상을 형성하는 화상 담지 부재에 대응하여 빔 검출기를 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,옐로우 토너 화상을 형성하는 화상 담지 부재에 대해서는 빔 검출기를 제공하지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
