Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1 化学物質を分析または合成するマイクロチップ実験装置であって、 複数のレザーバを接続する統合されたチャンネルを有する本体において、該 レザーバの少なくとも5つが同時に該レザーバと関連する制御された電位を有し 、該レザーバの少なくとも1つからの物質が該チャンネルを通して他のレザーバ の少なくとも1つに向けて運ばれ、1以上の選択された化学的又は物理的環境に さらされ、それによって該化学物質の合成または分析が行われるようにされる本 体から成るマイクロチップ実験装置。 2 該運ばれる物質が流体である、請求項1の装置。 3 該レザーバの少なくとも3つを接続するチャンネルの第1交点と、 該第1交点において該レザーバの2つからの物質を混合するする手段とをさ らに含む、請求項1の装置。 4 該混合手段が、該第1交点において電位を生成する手段を含み、該生成電位 が、該混合される物質が運び出される該2つのレザーバの各々の電位より小さい 、請求項3の装置。 5 第1、第2、第3および第4レザーバを接続するチャンネルの第1交点と、 該第1交点を通して該第1レザーバから該第2レザーバへ運ばれる第1物質 の容量を制御する手段であって、該第1交点を通して該第3レザーバから第2物 質を運ぶことにより制御を行う制御手段とをさらに含む、請求項1の装置。 6 該制御手段が、該第1交点を通して該第2および第4レザーバに向けて該第 2物質を運ぶ手段を含む、請求項5の装置。 7 該制御手段が、該第1交点を通して該第2物質を運ぶ分与手段であって、該 第1物質の選択された容量が該第2レザーバに向けて該第1交点を通過した後、 該第1物質が該第1交点を通して該第2レザーバに向けて移動するのを妨げる分 与手段を含む、請求項5の装置。 8 該制御手段が、該第1交点において該第1および第2物質を混合する希釈手 段であって、該第1交点から該第2レザーバに向けて該第1および第2物質を同 時に運ぶ希釈手段を含む、請求項5の装置。 9 該統合チャンネルが、第1および第2レザーバを接続する第1チャンネルと 、該第1チャンネルとの第1交点を形成するように第3および第4レザーバを接 続する第2チャンネルと、該第1交点と該第4レザーバとの間で第5レザーバを 該第2チャンネルと接続する第3チャンネルとを含む、請求項1の装置。 10 該第5レザーバからの物質と該第1交点から該第4レザーバに向けて運ばれ る物質とを混合する手段を含む、請求項9の装置。 11 該第3チャンネルが該第2チャンネルと交差して第2交点を形成し、 該第3チャンネルによって該第2交点と接続される第6レザーバをさらに含 む、請求項9の装置。 12 該第5および第6レザーバから物質を運び出して該第2交点内へ同時に移動 させる手段をさらに含む、請求項11の装置。 13 該運搬手段が、該第1交点からの物質の選択された容量が該第2交点を通し て該第4レザーバに向けて運ばれた後、該第5および第6レザーバから該第2交 点を通して該第1交点および該第4レザーバに向けて該物質を運ぶ、請求項12 の装置。 14 少なくとも4つのレザーバを接続する統合チャンネルを有する本体において 、該チャンネルが第1交点を形成し、該レザーバの少なくとも3つが該レザーバ と関連する制御された電位を同時に有し、該第1交点を通して第1レザーバから 第2レザーバヘ運ばれる物質の容量が、第3レザーバから該第1交点を通して他 のレザーバへ移動する物質の動きのみによって選択的に制御されるようにした本 体を含むマイクロチップ流れ制御装置。 15 該運ばれる物質が流体である、請求項14の装置。 16 第3レザーバから該第1交点を通して該第2レザーバへ向けて該第2物質を 運ぶ制御手段をさらに含む、請求項14の装置。 17 該制御手段が、該第1交点を通して該第2物質を運ぶ分与手段であって、該 第1物質の選択された容量が該第2レザーバに向けて該第1交点を通過した後、 該第1物質が該第1交点を通して該第2レザーバに向けて移動するのを妨げる分 与手段を含む、請求項16の装置。 18 該制御手段が、該第1交点において該第1および第2物質を混合する希釈手 段であって、該第1交点から該第2レザーバに向けて該第1および第2物質を同 時に運ぶ希釈手段を含む、請求項16の装置。 19 該統合チャンネルが、第1および第2レザーバを接続する第1チャンネルと 、該第1チャンネルとの第1交点を形成するように第3および第4レザーバを接 続する第2チャンネルと、該第1交点と該第4レザーバとの間で第5レザーバを 該第2チャンネルと接続する第3チャンネルとを含む、請求項14の装置。 20 該第5レザーバからの物質と該第1交点から該第4レザーバに向けて運ばれ る物質とを混合する手段を含む、請求項19の装置。 21 該第3チャンネルが該第2チャンネルと交差して第2交点を形成し、 該第3チャンネルによって該第2交点と接続される第6レザーバをさらに含 む、請求項19の装置。 22 該第5および第6レザーバから物質を運び出して該第2交点内へ同時に移動 させる手段をさらに含む、請求項21の装置。 23 該運搬手段が、該第1交点からの物質の選択された容量が該第2交点を通し て該第4レザーバに向けて運ばれた後、該第5および第6レザーバから該第2交 点を通して該第1交点および該第4レザーバに向けて該物質を運ぶ、請求項21 の装置。 24 少なくとも4つのレザーバを接続する統合チャンネルを有する本体において 、該チャンネルが第1交点を形成し、該レザーバの少なくとも3つが該レザーバ と関連する制御された電位を同時に有し、該第1交点を通して第1レザーバから 第2レザーバへ運ばれる物質の容量が、第3レザーバから該第1交点を通して他 のレザーバへ移動する物質の動きのみによって選択的に制御されるようにした本 体と、 電圧制御器であって、 該第1レザーバおよび該第3レザーバ間に電位差を加え、該第1物質の選択 された可変容量を該第1レザーバから該交点を通して該第3レザーバに向けて運 ぶようにし、 選択された時間後、該4つのレザーバの各々に電位を加え、該第2レザーバ から該交点を通して該第3レザーバに向けて該第2物質を運び、それによって 該交点を通して該第3レザーバに向けて移動する該第1物質の動きを制止するよ うにする電圧制御器とを含むマイクロチップ流れ制御装置。 25 少なくとも4つのレザーバを有する相互接続されたチャンネルを通して流れ る物質の流れを制御するために、該4つのレザーバの第1レザーバが、第1物質 を含み、該相互接続されたチャンネルが該レザーバを接続する統合チャンネルを 有し、該チャンネルが交点を形成するようにされる流れ制御方法であって、 該第1レザーバおよび該第3レザーバ間に電位差を加え、該第1物質の選択 された可変容量を該第1レザーバから該交点を通して該第3レザーバに向けて運 ぶようにし、 選択された時間後、該4つのレザーバの各々に電位を加え、該第2レザーバ から該交点を通して該第3レザーバに向けて該第2物質を運び、それによって該 交点を通して該第3レザーバに向けて移動する該第1物質の動きを制止するよう にすることを含む流れ制御方法。
