Claims (29)
- 1つ以上の入力デバイスを有するコンピューティングデバイス上で実行される、プロセッサによって実行される方法であって、
ユーザ入力を受信することと関連付けられた第1のアラート条件を前記コンピューティングデバイスで検出することと、ここで前記ユーザ入力は、前記コンピューティングデバイスの前記1つ以上の入力デバイスのうちの入力デバイスで検出される入力である、検出することと、
前記第1のアラート条件を検出したことに応じて、かつ前記第1のアラート条件が前記コンピューティングデバイスの入力デバイスでユーザ入力を受け付けることに関連付けられていることに従って、第1の振幅を有し、前記コンピューティングデバイス上の前記ユーザ入力に対応する第1の触覚出力を前記コンピューティングデバイス上で提供することと、
前記第1の触覚出力を提供した後、前記コンピューティングデバイスにおいて予め定められた自動的にトリガされる通知のセットうちの自動的にトリガされる通知に関連づけられた第2のアラート条件を検出することと、

- 前記自動的にトリガされる通知のセットが、前記コンピューティングデバイス上のアプリケーションによって自動的に生成されるリマインダ通知と、前記アプリケーションによって受信される自動開始イベントの通知を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザ入力に対応する、入力に基づく変更条件が存在するかどうかを判定することと、
入力に基づく変更条件が存在すると判定したことに応じて、前記第1の触覚出力を提供する前に、前記第1の触覚出力を変更することと、をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 特定のアラート条件を検出することと、
前記特定のアラート条件が前記コンピューティングデバイス上で受信した特定のユーザ入力から生じたと判定することと、
前記コンピューティングデバイスまたは前記コンピューティングデバイス上のアプリケーションとのユーザ関与の程度を特定することであって、前記ユーザ関与の程度は前記検出されたユーザ入力に関連づけられている、特定することと、
ユーザ関与の前記程度に基づいて前記第1の触覚出力の第1の信号強度を変更することと、をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 特定のアラート条件を検出することと、
前記特定のアラート条件が、前記コンピューティングデバイス上でユーザ入力を受信したことから生じたと判定することと、
前記ユーザ入力を受信した前記コンピューティングデバイス上の位置を特定することと、
前記ユーザ入力を受信した前記コンピューティングデバイス上の前記位置の指定半径閾値内で、指定された割合の前記第1の触覚出力の触覚エネルギーよりも大きな触覚エネルギーを提供することによって前記第1の触覚出力の空間触覚エネルギープロファイルを変更することと、をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 特定のアラート条件を検出することと、
前記特定のアラート条件が、前記コンピューティングデバイスでユーザ入力を受信したことから生じたと判定することと、
前記コンピューティングデバイス上の前記ユーザ入力の位置で知覚できるように前記第1の触覚出力の触覚エネルギーの振幅を低減することによって、前記第1の触覚出力の空間触覚エネルギープロファイルを変更することと、をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記コンピューティングデバイスで前記ユーザ入力を受け付けている前記位置が経時変化し、
前記ユーザ入力を受け付けている前記経時変化する位置に対応して、前記空間触覚エネルギーが経時変化する、請求項7に記載の方法。 - 特定のアラート条件を検出することと、
前記特定のアラート条件が、ユーザ入力を受信したことから生じたと判定することと、
前記ユーザ入力の、経時変化する形態学的属性を特定することと、
前記第1の触覚出力の形態学的特性を、前記ユーザ入力の前記経時変化する形態学的属性と対応するように経時的に変更することと、をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記経時変化する形態学的属性が、前記ユーザ入力と前記コンピューティングデバイスのタッチ感知面との間の時間依存の接触圧プロファイルを含み、
前記変更することが、前記第1の触覚出力のエネルギープロファイルを、前記ユーザ入力と前記コンピューティングデバイスのタッチ感知面との間の時間依存の接触圧プロファイルと対応するように経時的に変更することを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。 - 特定のアラート条件を検出することと、
前記特定のアラート条件が持続的なユーザ入力から生じたと判定することと、
前記判定したことに応じて、前記持続的なユーザ入力の開始時期に前記第1の触覚出力を開始することと、
前記持続的なユーザ入力の終了を検出することと、
前記持続的なユーザ入力の終了時期に前記第1の触覚出力を終了することと、をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 周囲条件に基づく変更条件が存在するかどうかを判定することと、
周囲条件に基づく変更条件が存在すると判定したことに応じて、前記第2の触覚出力を提供する前に、前記第2の触覚出力を変更することと、をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 特定のアプリケーションと関連付けられた特定のアラート条件を検出することと、
前記特定のアラート条件が、前記コンピューティングデバイスの前記1つ以上の入力デバイスの入力デバイスでユーザ入力を受信したことから生じたものでないことを判定することと、
前記特定のアラート条件が、前記コンピューティングデバイスの前記1つ以上の入力デバイスの入力デバイスでユーザ入力を受信したことから生じたものでないことの判定に応答して、
前記特定のアラート条件の発生時点において1つ以上の周囲条件が触覚出力に対する潜在的な干渉として前記コンピューティングデバイスに関して存在するか否かを判定することと、
触覚出力に対する潜在的な干渉としての周囲条件が前記コンピューティングデバイスに関して存在しないとの判定に従って、ユーザの受容力の状態に基づいて前記第2の触覚出力を提供することと、
触覚出力に対する潜在的な干渉として1つ以上の周囲条件が前記コンピューティングデバイスに関して存在するとの判定に従って、前記ユーザへの前記第2の触覚出力の提供を遅らせることと、をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 特定のアプリケーションと関連付けられた特定のアラート条件を検出することと、
前記特定のアラート条件が、前記コンピューティングデバイスの前記1つ以上の入力デバイスの入力デバイスでユーザ入力を受信したことから生じたものでないことを判定することと、
前記特定のアラート条件が、前記コンピューティングデバイスの前記1つ以上の入力デバイスの入力デバイスでユーザ入力を受信したことから生じたものでないことの判定に応答して、
前記特定のアラート条件の発生時点において1つ以上の周囲条件が触覚出力に対する潜在的な干渉として前記コンピューティングデバイスに関して存在するか否かを判定することと、
触覚出力に対する潜在的な干渉としての周囲条件が前記コンピューティングデバイスに関して存在しないとの判定に従って、出力特性の第1のセットを有する前記第2の触覚出力の第1の変形物をユーザに提供することと、
1つ以上の周囲条件が触覚出力に対する潜在的干渉として前記コンピューティングデバイスに関して存在するという判定に従って、出力特性の前記第1のセットとは異なる出力特性の第2のセットを有し、前記第2の触覚出力の前記第1の変形物よりも高い強度を有する前記第2の触覚出力の第2の変形物を前記ユーザに提供することと、をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 特定のアプリケーションと関連付けられた特定のアラート条件を検出することと、
前記特定のアラート条件が、前記コンピューティングデバイスの前記1つ以上の入力デバイスの入力デバイスでユーザ入力を受信したことから生じたものでないことを判定することと、
前記特定のアラート条件が、前記コンピューティングデバイスの前記1つ以上の入力デバイスの入力デバイスでユーザ入力を受信したことから生じたものでないことの判定に応答して、
前記コンピューティングデバイスを操作しているユーザの関与レベルを前記第2の触覚出力の前に高めるためのプライミング触覚出力であって、少なくとも一部分が前記第2の触覚出力よりも大きく発音される、プライミング触覚出力を、前記第2の触覚出力の前兆として提供することと、
前記プライミング触覚出力の提供に続き、かつ指定された時間間隔内に前記第2の触覚出力を提供することと、をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記プライミング触覚出力が触覚構成要素を含み、前記触覚構成要素は、時間とともに次第に高まる前記触覚構成要素の強度によって特徴付けられる、経時変化する波形形態を有する、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記プライミング触覚出力が触覚構成要素を含み、前記触覚構成要素は、強調された触覚的特徴に続いて次第に減少する前記触覚構成要素の強度によって特徴付けられる、経時変化する波形形態を有する、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の触覚出力が、対応する先行プライミング触覚出力なしで、受信したユーザ入力から生じる対応アラート条件に応じて直接提供される、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記プライミング触覚出力の特性が、前記特定のアラート条件と関連付けられた緊急性又はコンテキストに基づいて選択される、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のアラート条件は、前記コンピューティングデバイス上の第1のアプリケーションと関連付けられたアプリケーションユーザインタフェースに表示されたユーザインタフェース要素のユーザ選択に対応し、
前記第1の触覚出力は、第1の強度の第1の触覚的特徴と第1の期間とを含む第1の触覚構成要素を有し、
前記第2のアラート条件は、前記第1のアプリケーションによって受信されたアラート通知に対応し、
前記第2の触覚出力は前記アラート通知の受信を表し、前記第2の触覚出力が、第2の強度の第2の触覚的特徴と第2の期間とを含む第2の触覚構成要素を含み、
前記第2の触覚出力が、前記第2の触覚的特徴が前記第1の触覚的特徴よりも大きく発声されるか、前記第2の強度が前記第1の強度よりも大きいか、又は前記第2の期間が前記第1の期間よりも長い、ことに基づいて、前記第1の触覚出力と異なり、かつより大きく発音される、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1の触覚出力が、前記第1のアラート条件を表し、
前記第2の触覚出力が、前記第2のアラート条件を表し、前記第2の触覚出力は、前記第1の触覚出力と異なり、かつ、より大きな強度を有する、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1の触覚出力が、前記第1の触覚出力の振幅と、前記第1の触覚出力の期間と、前記第1の触覚出力と関連付けられた規則性と、前記第1の触覚出力における触覚的特徴の反復周波数と、前記第1の触覚出力を構成する触覚的特徴の選択と、のうちの1つ以上を含む特性の第1のセットを有し、
前記第2の触覚出力が、前記第2の触覚出力の振幅と、前記第2の触覚出力と関連付けられた触覚構成要素の期間と、前記第2の触覚出力と関連付けられた規則性と、前記第2の触覚出力における触覚的特徴の反復周波数と、前記第2の触覚出力を構成する触覚的特徴の選択と、のうちの1つ以上を含む特性の第2のセットを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1の触覚出力が第1のオーディオ出力を伴い、

前記第1の触覚出力が前記第2の触覚出力とは異なる、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1の触覚出力の前記第1の振幅及び前記第2の触覚出力の前記第2の振幅が、前記コンピューティングデバイス上の音量設定に対して逆相関的にさらに調節される、請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の触覚出力がオーディオ出力を伴い、
前記第1の触覚出力がオーディオ出力を伴わない、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記コンピューティングデバイスの前記1つ以上の入力デバイスが、前記ユーザ入力を受信するためのタッチ感知ディスプレイを有し、
前記第1の触覚出力及び前記第2の触覚出力が、前記コンピューティングデバイス上の前記タッチ感知ディスプレイを介して提供される、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 実行可能なコードを有するコンピュータプログラムであって、前記コードは、出力生成器および1つ以上の入力デバイスを有するコンピューティングデバイスのプロセッサに実行されると、前記プロセッサに、請求項1から27のいずれか一項に記載の方法の各ステップを実行させる、コンピュータプログラム。
- 出力生成器と、
タッチ感知面を含む、1つ以上の入力デバイスと、
請求項1から27のいずれか一項に記載の方法の各ステップを実行するための命令を有する1つ以上のプログラムを記憶するメモリと、
