Claims (16)
- 患者内の血管の場所を特定するためのデバイスであって、
近位部分から遠位部分まで延在する管腔を含む、中空の伸長剛性管であって、前記管は、縦軸を有し、前記血管に対して複数の角度で位置決めされ得る、中空の伸長剛性管と、
前記遠位部分に連結される、超音波センサであって、縦軸に沿って遠位に超音波を伝送および受信してドップラ偏移を検出するように構成される、超音波センサと、
前記患者の体の外側の位置から、前記管が前記血管を貫通するための複数の角度のうちの所望の角度で位置決めされているかを示すドップラ偏移情報を計算するプロセッサと、
前記ドップラ偏移情報をユーザに示す指示デバイスと、
前記センサから前記近位部分に隣接して位置付けられた通信接続アセンブリまで延在する、少なくとも1つの通信ラインであって、前記剛性管は、使用中に前記縦軸と実質的に整列して前記超音波センサおよび通信接続アセンブリを維持する、少なくとも1つの通信ラインと
前記伸長管の前記管腔を通って延在する、前記センサと通信している導電体と
を備える、デバイス。 - 前記伸長管は、円形断面形状を伴う剛性円筒である、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記通信接続アセンブリは、前記伸長管の前記近位部分の上に複数の伝導帯を含む、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記伸長管は、前記近位部分から前記遠位部分まで実質的に一定の程度の剛性を有する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記伸長管および通信接続アセンブリは、実質的に一様な直径を有する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記センサを封入するように成形および構成されるセンサ筐体をさらに含み、前記センサ筐体は、前記伸長管の前記遠位部分に連結される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
