[0046]療法トランスデューサ114は、単一素子トランスデューサ、または複数のトランスデューサ素子を含み、本明細書に記載する超音波療法パルスを生成し組織または他の媒体内に送達するように構成された、多素子超音波療法トランスデューサであってよい。いくつかの実施形態では、多素子超音波療法トランスデューサは、2つまたは3つ以上の周波数の超音波パルスを生成することができる。療法トランスデューサのアクティブなトランスデューサ素子は、圧電トランスデューサ素子であってよい。いくつかの実施形態では、トランスデューサ素子は、共通の幾何学的焦点を有する音響レンズに装着され得る。

[0053]組織破砕サービスツールは、任意のPCまたは計算システム(例えば電子制御装置)で動くことができ、システムの制御に使用され得る、ソフトウェアである。組織破砕サービスツールは、療法トランスデューサで療法を開始/停止し、高電圧レベル、療法パラメータ(PRF、サイクル数、デューティー比、有効化したチャネルおよび遅延など)を設定し読み取り、他のサービスおよび維持関連アイテムを設定し読み取ることができる。組織破砕サービスツールおよび電子制御装置は、加工パラメータを設定し/読み取り、療法を開始/停止などするように構成され得る。パラメータをすべて格納するために内部フラッシュメモリまたは他の電子記憶媒体を使用することができる。組織破砕サービスツールおよび電子制御装置は、複雑なパルスを生成するのに必要なすべての駆動パラメータをFPGA108に通信することができる。これらは、シリアル通信または他の電子通信を用いて高電圧制御装置および電源110に通信することもでき、ここで、駆動電圧の適切なレベルを設定し/読み取ることができる。
Claims (8)
- 人間の患者の脳内の標的組織を治療するように構成された超音波システムであって、
パルス発生器および増幅器と、
前記パルス発生器に連結された超音波療法トランスデューサであって、キャビテーションを生成するために前記脳内の前記標的組織の内部の焦点に向けて前記人間の患者の頭蓋冠を通じて超音波パルスを送信するように構成された複数のトランスデューサ素子を有する、超音波療法トランスデューサと、
1つまたは複数の圧電センサを含むドレナージカテーテルであって、前記超音波パルスを測定するために前記脳内で前記焦点の近くに設置されるように構成されている、ドレナージカテーテルと、
前記パルス発生器、前記超音波療法トランスデューサ、および前記ドレナージカテーテルの前記圧電センサに連結された電子制御装置であって、前記人間の患者の前記頭蓋冠を通過する前記超音波パルスによって生じた収差効果を自動で補正するために前記ドレナージカテーテルによって検出された前記超音波パルスに基づいて収差補正アルゴリズムを実行することにより、前記超音波パルスの送信を制御し、前記複数のトランスデューサ素子それぞれからの超音波パルスの前記送信を調節するように構成されている、電子制御装置と、
を含む、超音波システム。 - 前記超音波療法トランスデューサは、前記人間の患者の前記脳内の前記標的組織を溶解させるためにキャビテーションを生成するため、組織破砕療法パルスを送信するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の超音波システム。
- 前記ドレナージカテーテルは、溶解した前記標的組織を前記人間の患者から排出するように構成されたドレナージポートを含む、請求項2に記載の超音波システム。
- 前記1つまたは複数の圧電センサは、ただ1つの圧電センサを含む、請求項1に記載の超音波システム。
- 前記収差補正アルゴリズムは、
前記超音波パルスが前記療法トランスデューサの前記複数のトランスデューサ素子それぞれから圧電センサへと移動する伝搬時間を決定することと、
前記療法トランスデューサの前記複数のトランスデューサ素子それぞれと基準素子との間の、前記伝搬時間の時間遅延を計算することと、
計算された前記時間遅延に基づいて前記複数のトランスデューサ素子からの超音波パルスの前記送信を調節することと、を含む、請求項4に記載の超音波システム。 - 前記1つまたは複数の圧電センサは、第1および第2の圧電センサを含む、請求項1に記載の超音波システム。
- 前記収差補正アルゴリズムは、
前記超音波パルスが前記療法トランスデューサの前記複数のトランスデューサ素子それぞれから、前記第1および第2の圧電センサへと移動する伝搬時間を決定することと、
前記複数のトランスデューサ素子それぞれから前記第1および第2の圧電センサの中間点への光線上への前記第1および第2の圧電センサの射影を用いて前記第1の圧電センサと前記第2の圧電センサとの間の距離を計算することと、
前記複数のトランスデューサ素子それぞれから前記第1および第2の圧電センサの前記中間点までの前記超音波パルスの移動方向および移動の時間を計算することと、
前記複数のトランスデューサ素子それぞれについて前記焦点と前記中間点との間の隔離距離を計算することと、
前記第1の圧電センサと前記第2の圧電センサとの間の前記距離、前記中間点、および前記隔離距離に基づいて前記複数のトランスデューサ素子それぞれの時間遅延を計算することと、を含む、請求項6に記載の超音波システム。 - 前記療法トランスデューサは、穴を含み、前記ドレナージカテーテルは、前記穴を通って、前記人間の患者の前記脳内に前進するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の超音波システム。
