Claims (14)
- 前部ドライバーと電気機械変換要素と後部ドライバーと減衰体を有してなり、
前部ドライバーは一方向に延在する長軸と反対方向に延在するスタッドとを有しており、電気機械変換要素はスタッド周りに設けられており、後部ドライバーは電気機械変換要素の前部ドライバーと反対側においてスタッド周りに設けられており、電気機械変換要素は前後のドライバー間にクランプされており、減衰体は後部ドライバーから所定の距離を離してスタッドに連結されており、該減衰体はスタッドを伝播する振動を緩和するのに充分な慣性を有するとともに、スタッドと強固に固定連結されてスタッドと実質的に一体の部材となっていることを特徴とする超音波外科用具用変換ユニット。 - 減衰体が変換器ケースの端部キャップであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のユニット。
- ケースがスナップロック嵌合により端部キャップに錠止された実質的に剛性のケース体を有していることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のユニット。
- スタッドが外ネジ端部要素を有しており、減衰体が内ネジ対向孔を有しており、
端部要素が対向孔に干渉嵌合により挿入されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のユニット。 - 減衰体が、その端部が対向孔の端部と会合するまで、端部要素上で回転されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のユニット。
- スタッドが電気機械変換要素の前面から2.50〜3.25インチの範囲で突出していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のユニット。
- スタッドが電気機械変換要素の前面から2.7〜3.0インチの範囲で突出していることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のユニット。
- スタッドが電気機械変換要素の減衰振動において可撓性要素として機能するのに充分に小さな厚さの壁を有していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のユニット。
- スタッドの壁厚が約0.010〜0.25インチであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のユニット。
- 前部ドライバーの長軸が屈曲部で屈曲して、スタッドと同軸状の第1の部分とスタッドに対して角度をなす第2の部分を形成しており、さらに第1の実質的に剛性のケース体が電気機械変換要素と長軸の第1の部分の周りに設けられており、第2の実質的に剛性のケース体が長軸の第2の部分の周りに設けられており、可撓性の結合体が屈曲部において長軸の周りに設けられており、かつ一側では第1のケース体に連結され反対側では第2のケース体に連結されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のユニット。
- 第2のケース体と長軸の第2の部分との間にスプラインリングが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のユニット。
- 長軸の第2の部分が拡大増幅体を有しており、スプラインリングが該拡大増幅体と係合して設けられていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のユニット。
- 第1のケース体が鉤(またはポート)要素と脱気孔とを有していることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のユニット。
- 脱気孔が鉤要素から基端方向に離間しており、かつ第1のケース体に対して鉤要素と同じ側に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のユニット。
