Description
また、本発明の更なる一態様による、電子デバイスを組み立てる方法は、前記電子デバイスの面のほぼすべてに対して外面を形成する上面と、底面とを有するガラス部材を取得することと、前記ガラス部材の前記底面の周囲に内側周囲部材を装着することと、前記ガラス部材の周囲に隣接し且つ前記内側周囲部材に隣接するように外側周囲部材を成形することと、を有する。
また、本発明の他の態様によれば、上記方法において、外側周囲部材は更に支持構造に隣接して成形される。
また、本発明の他の態様によれば、上記方法において、前記ガラス部材の前記底面の周囲に前記内側周囲部材を装着する前に前記ガラス部材の前記底面の周囲に沿って接着剤層を付着させることを更に含む。
また、本発明の他の態様によれば、上記方法において、前記外側周囲部材は前記接着剤層を介して前記ガラス部材に固着される。
また、本発明の他の態様によれば、上記方法において、前記成形することは、前記電子デバイスの前記外側周囲部材を形成するように構成された内面を有する金属成形型を取得することと、前記金属成形型の前記内面の少なくとも一部分を被膜で覆うことと、前記電子デバイスの前記外側周囲部材を形成するために、前記金属成形型に成形材料を注入することと、を有する。
Claims (20)
- 電子デバイスエンクロージャであって、
前記電子デバイスエンクロージャの上面となるガラスカバーと、
前記ガラスカバーの周囲に沿って付着された接着剤と、
エンクロージャ支持構造と、
前記接着剤により前記ガラスカバーに少なくとも部分的に固着されている内側周囲部材と、前記内側周囲部材に隣接し、前記ガラスカバーの周りに固着され、前記ガラスカバーと前記エンクロージャ支持構造との間に配置された外側周囲部材とを有し、前記ガラスカバーのための支持面を提供し且つ前記ガラスカバーのための側部保護面を提供する周囲構造と、を備え、
前記周囲構造は、前記ガラスカバーと前記エンクロージャ支持構造が互いに所定の位置関係を有するように前記ガラスカバーと前記エンクロージャ支持構造を固着していることを特徴とする電子デバイスエンクロージャ。 - 前記エンクロージャ支持構造は、前記電子デバイスエンクロージャのための外側の周囲の部分を形成することを特徴とする請求項1記載の電子デバイスエンクロージャ。
- 前記ガラスカバーの周囲に沿って前記周囲構造が固定されており、前記ガラスカバーの縁部と前記周囲構造との間に隙間のない境界部が前記ガラスカバーの周囲に沿って提供されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の電子デバイスエンクロージャ。
- 前記接着剤は前記ガラスカバーの底面に付着され、
前記周囲構造は、前記ガラスカバーの周囲に沿って前記接着剤により固定されていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の電子デバイスエンクロージャ。 - 前記接着剤は熱により活性化される接着剤であることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の電子デバイスエンクロージャ。
- 前記接着剤は熱により活性化される接着剤であり、
前記接着剤は膜又は層として塗布されていることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の電子デバイスエンクロージャ。 - 前記周囲構造は、ガラス繊維を混入することにより補強されたポリマーを備えることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の電子デバイスエンクロージャ。
- 前記周囲構造はポリマーを備え、前記ポリマーは前記周囲構造のCTEが前記ガラスカバーのCTEに近づくように添加剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の電子デバイスエンクロージャ。
- 前記エンクロージャ支持構造は金属支持構造を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の電子デバイスエンクロージャ。
- 前記金属支持構造は、前記周囲構造が成形された後に前記周囲構造と機械的に係合する少なくとも1つの機械的構造を有することを特徴とする請求項9記載の電子デバイスエンクロージャ。
- 前記ガラスカバーの厚さは約0.3〜1.0mmであることを特徴とする請求項1から10のいずれか1項に記載の電子デバイスエンクロージャ。
- 電子デバイスエンクロージャであって、
前記電子デバイスエンクロージャの上面となるガラスカバーと、
前記ガラスカバーの周囲に沿って付着された接着剤と、
前記接着剤により前記ガラスカバーに少なくとも部分的に固着され、前記ガラスカバーの支持面を提供し且つ前記ガラスカバーの側部保護面を提供する周囲構造と、を備え、
前記周囲構造は内側周囲部材及び外側周囲部材を含み、
前記内側周囲部材は、前記接着剤を介して前記ガラスカバーに装着されており、
少なくとも前記外側周囲部材は、前記ガラスカバーの周囲の少なくとも一部分及び前記内側周囲部材の少なくとも一部分に沿って固定されていることを特徴とする電子デバイスエンクロージャ。 - 前記ガラスカバーの縁部と前記外側周囲部材との間に隙間のない境界部が提供されていることを特徴とする請求項12記載の電子デバイスエンクロージャ。
- 電子デバイスを組み立てる方法であって、
前記電子デバイスの外面の少なくとも一部を提供する上面と、底面とを有するガラス部材を取得することと、
前記ガラス部材の前記底面の周囲に沿って接着剤層を付着させることと、
前記ガラス部材の周囲に隣接し、且つ前記接着剤層に隣接して内側周囲部材を配置することと、
前記ガラス部材および前記内側周囲部材に隣接するように、前記内側周囲部材にわたって外側周囲部材を成形することと、
前記内側周囲部材および/または前記外側周囲部材を前記電子デバイスの支持構造に対して固定することと、を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記内側周囲部材は、前記ガラス部材に隣接して成形され、前記接着剤層を介して前記ガラス部材に固着されることを特徴とする請求項14記載の方法。
- 前記内側周囲部材および/または前記外側周囲部材は、前記支持構造の少なくとも1つの機械的構造を介して前記支持構造に固着されることを特徴とする請求項14記載の方法。
- 前記接着剤層は熱活性化接着剤から形成され、
成形中、前記接着剤層は熱により活性化されることを特徴とする請求項14から16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記接着剤層を付着させることは、
前記ガラス部材の前記底面の周囲に前記接着剤層をスクリーン印刷することを含むことを特徴とする請求項14記載の方法。 - 前記接着剤層は、接着剤のリングを形成するように打ち抜き加工され、
前記接着剤層を付着させることは、
前記打ち抜き加工された接着剤層を前記ガラス部材の前記底面の周囲に装着することを含むことを特徴とする請求項14記載の方法。 - 前記接着剤層を付着させることは、
前記ガラス部材の前記底面の少なくとも一部分に接着剤膜を配置することを含むことを特徴とする請求項14記載の方法。
