Claims (3)
- (a)30質量%より多い量の無機酸化粒子を含有する多孔性セパレータ層であって、直径が0.2ミクロンより大きい孔を有しない多孔性セパレータ層を基板上に被膜するステップ、
(b)導電性炭素顔料と、有機溶媒または水とを含有する顔料分散体で構成された一方の極性の電極層を、前記セパレータ層上に直接被膜するステップ、
(c)前記電極層上に1つ以上の電流コレクタ層を直接被膜してセパレータ/電極スタックを作製するステップ、
(d)2つの前記セパレータ/電極スタックを積層して一体とし、前記セパレータ層から前記基板を層間剥離して、その第1および第2の電極層の間に置かれる前記1つ以上の電流コレクタ層を有する、柔軟性のあるセパレータ/電極アセンブリを形成するステップ、および
(e)ステップ(b)の前記電極層と極性が反対である2つの電極層の間に置かれる電流コレクタ層を備える電極と、前記アセンブリとを交互配置して、乾式セパレータ/電極セルを形成するステップを含むリチウム電池を作製する方法。 - (i)前記アセンブリおよび前記電極は、ステップ(e)で交互配置する前は、シート状の形状である;または
(ii)ステップ(e)の後、前記アセンブリの一部分は前記電極と接触しておらず、前記電極の一部分は前記アセンブリと接触しておらず、導電性ピンを有する第1のデバイスは、前記アセンブリの前記一部分の2つ以上を電気的に接続し、導電性ピンを有する第2のデバイスは、前記電極の前記一部分の2つ以上を電気的に接続する;または
(iii)ステップ(c)の前記1つ以上の電流コレクタ層における少なくとも1つは金属層を備え、前記金属層の厚さは3ミクロン未満である;または
(iv)前記セパレータ層は、0.1ミクロン未満の平均孔径を有する孔を備える;または
(v)前記セパレータ層の厚さは、6ミクロン未満である、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 請求項2のオプション(ii)に記載の方法であって、前記乾式セパレータ/電極セルを、ケーシング内に入れるステップと、(2)電解質を充填し、封止するステップとの、さらなるステップが存在する、方法。
