Description
Claims (13)
- 粉末と溶媒とを含む材料を混合し、スラリー状の塗料を製造する方法であって、
上記材料をバッチ方式で予備攪拌する予備攪拌工程と、
上記予備攪拌工程を経た中間材料を攪拌羽根付きの貯蔵タンクに供給し、上記攪拌羽根で攪拌しつつ貯蔵する貯蔵工程と、
上記貯蔵工程を経た中間材料を、容器とこの容器の内壁面のわずかに内側で高速回転する回転部材とを有する高速攪拌機に連続的に供給し、上記回転部材による遠心力によって上記回転部材と上記内壁面との間に膜状に存在させた上記中間材料を連続攪拌する高速攪拌工程と、
上記高速攪拌工程で得られた攪拌済み材料を攪拌羽根付きの処理タンクに導入して真空脱泡処理を行う真空脱泡工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする、塗料の製造方法。 - 上記高速攪拌機から排出される攪拌済み材料をいったん緩衝タンクに導入し、この緩衝タンクから上記真空脱泡工程の上記処理タンクに移送する、請求項1に記載の塗料の製造方法。
- 上記真空脱泡工程の上記処理タンクは、複数設けられているとともに、それぞれが温度調整機能を備えており、上記緩衝タンクからの上記攪拌済み材料は、これら複数の処理タンクに順次選択的に供給される、請求項2に記載の塗料の製造方法。
- 上記複数の処理タンクの真空脱泡処理された材料を、順次選択的に塗装工程に移送する、請求項3に記載の塗料の製造方法。
- 上記塗料は、リチウムイオン二次電池またはキャパシタの電極用塗料である、請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の塗料の製造方法。
- 粉末と溶媒とを含む材料を混合し、スラリー状の塗料を製造するための装置であって、
上記材料が投入されてこの材料をバッチ方式で予備攪拌する予備攪拌タンクと、
上記予備攪拌タンクによって予備攪拌された中間材料が供給され、攪拌羽根によって上記中間材料を攪拌しつつ貯蔵する貯蔵タンクと、
上記貯蔵タンク内の中間材料が連続的に供給され、容器と、この容器の内壁面のわずかに内側で高速回転する回転部材とを備え、上記回転部材による遠心力によって上記回転部材と上記内壁面との間に膜状に存在させた上記中間材料を連続攪拌する高速攪拌機と、
上記高速攪拌機で得られた攪拌済み材料が供給され、攪拌羽根で攪拌しつつ上記攪拌済み材料の真空脱泡処理を行う処理タンクと、
上記処理タンクで真空脱泡処理された材料を塗料として塗装工程に移送する移送手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする、塗料の製造装置。 - 上記高速攪拌機から排出される上記攪拌済み材料が供給される緩衝タンクをさらに備え、この緩衝タンクから上記処理タンクに移送する、請求項6に記載の塗料の製造装置。
- 上記高速攪拌機から排出される上記攪拌済み材料を上記緩衝タンクに供給するための管路は、冷却媒体の流通路によって取り囲まれている、請求項7に記載の塗料の製造装置。
- 上記処理タンクは、複数設けられているとともに、各処理タンクは、温度調整媒体の流通路で取り囲まれており、かつ、これらの処理タンクには、上記攪拌済み材料が順次選択的に供給される、請求項6ないし8のいずれかに記載の塗料の製造装置。
- 上記移送手段は、上記複数の処理タンクの上記真空脱泡処理された材料を、順次選択的に塗装工程に移送する、請求項9に記載の塗料の製造装置。
- 上記高速攪拌機における上記回転部材は、上記容器の内壁面に対してわずかなすきまを介して位置する筒状をしているとともに、内外方向に貫通する複数の孔を有している、請求項6ないし10のいずれかに記載の塗料の製造装置。
- 上記回転部材は、その一部または全部、もしくは、上記容器の内壁面が耐磨耗性材料によって形成されている、請求項11に記載の塗料の製造装置。
- 上記塗料は、リチウムイオン二次電池またはキャパシタの電極用塗料である、請求項6ないし12のいずれかに記載の塗料の製造装置。
