Description
次に、車両の加速時、特にエンジンENGに供給される空気量を制御するスロットル弁の開度が全開になる急加速時(例えば急勾配坂の登坂時で、アクセルの踏み込み量が大きい時)においては、前述した通常走行時の動作に加え、バッテリBATからの出力電力を電力変換装置INVによって三相交流電力に変換して電動機MG1に供給し、電動機MG1によって発生する回転駆動力を増加する。
本発明の第1の実施形態によるコンデンサモジュールCMの外観斜視図を図3に示す。コンデンサモジュールCMは、ナットが埋め込んだ固定用穴17がある樹脂モールド用のケース12で覆い、高圧バッテリBATからの接続部3c、4c、パワーモジュールPMUとの接続部3b、4bを備える。また、コンデンサセルCDSを載置し、絶縁シート10を介して積層した幅広導体8,9の積層体(後述)を、樹脂モールドケース12から、そのまま、樹脂モールド外へ引き出し、パワーモジュールPMUの接続部3b、4bを形成する。
図5に示すように、樹脂モールド用のケース12の内部には、複数のコンデンサからなるコンデンサセルCDSを配置する。ここで、本実施形態では、コンデンサセルCDSとして、金属を蒸着したフィルムを積層巻きし、金属吹き付けにより巻き軸方向の両面に電極11を形成したフィルムコンデンサを用いている。つまり、本実施形態のコンデンサでは、電極11が両側面に対向するようなコンデンサである。
本発明の第1の実施形態によるコンデンサモジュールCMとパワーモジュールPMUとの接続部の拡大断面図と電流経路を図11にて説明する。
上アームのオンスイッチング(TR)の期間は、パワーモジュールPMU1の下アームのダイオードがオフするため、ダイオードのオフ時に発生する高周波のリカバリー電流が、図18の回路図の電流経路66-Aで流れる。このリカバリー電流により、通電した電流以上の貫通電流がIGBTに流れる。上アームのIGBTの電圧は、このオンスイッチング(TR)に、ほぼゼロ(実際は導通損失があるため数V)となる。一方、下アームのダイオード、はオフするため、このダイオードのオフ時のリカバリー電流による跳ね上がり電圧が下アームのダイオード、IGBTに生じる(ダイオードの波形は図示せず)。本実施例の構造では、電流経路66-Aは、低インダクタンス回路であるため、このダイオードのリカバリー電流による下アームの跳ね上がり電圧も低減できる。
次に、本発明の第3の実施形態によるコンデンサモジュールの構成を図21に示す。
図21は、本発明の第3の実施形態によるコンデンサモジュールの構成を示す分解斜視図である。なお、図4と同一符号は、同一部分を示している。
本実施形態では、コンデンサモジュールCMの基本的な構成は、図4〜図10に示したコンデンサモジュールCMと同様である。本実施例の特徴は、2つの電動機を制御する車載電機システムの電力変換装置のコンデンサモジュールCMにおいて、パワーモジュール1つに必ず低インダクタンスなコンデンサモジュール1つを接続できる配置で、かつ、低インダクタンスで接続していない残りの1つコンデンサモジュールも電流供給するためのコンデンサ容量を増やす役割を維持しつつ、コンデンサモジュールを1つにまとめた点である。コンデンサモジュールCMは、絶縁シートを介して2枚の幅広導体を積層した積層体の両端に、複数個のコンデンサセルCDSを載置配置し、中心位置でパワーモジュールと接続する構造である。これにより、2つのコンデンサモジュールのときに生じた組み立て時にコンデンサモジュールのネジ止めの位置あわせ不要になる。また、本実施例では、2つのパワーモジュールと接続する構造のため接続穴が複数あるが、2つのパワーモジュールが1つになったパワーモジュールを用いる場合は、接続部の穴を減らすことができ、底面積をさらに小さくできる。

Claims (4)
- 直流電流を平滑するためのフィルムコンデンサを複数有するコンデンサモジュールと、
バッテリからの直流電流を交流電流に変換するパワー半導体素子を有するパワーモジュールとを備えた電力変換装置において、
前記フィルムコンデンサと直接接触する第1の幅広導体と、
前記第1の幅広導体と絶縁シートと第2の幅広導体とが積層されて構成された積層体を備え、
前記積層体は、前記コンデンサモジュールと電気的に接続され、前記コンデンサモジュールのケースから外に積層状態のまま引き出されて前記パワーモジュールに接続されており、
前記フィルムコンデンサはそれぞれ両端面に電極を有しており、
前記第1及び第2の幅広導体それぞれに前記フィルムコンデンサと電気的に接続するための接続端子部が形成されており、
前記フィルムコンデンサの電極の一方は、前記第1の幅広導体面の一部を切り抜きして立ち上がるように形成された接続用端子部と直接接続されており、
前記フィルムコンデンサの電極の他方は、前記第2の幅広導体面の一部を切り抜きして立ち上がるように形成された接続用端子部と直接接続されていることを特徴とする電力変換装置。 - 請求項1記載の電力変換装置において、
前記第2の幅広導体にある前記接続用端子部は、前記第1の幅広導体に設けられた貫通穴を貫通して前記第1の幅広導体の上部に突出することを特徴とする電力変換装置。 - 請求項1記載の電力変換装置において、
前記接続用端子部は、前記第1及び第2の幅広導体面上に千鳥状に構成されていることを特徴とする電力変換装置。 - 請求項1記載の電力変換装置において、
前記第1および第2の幅広導体の接続用端子部同士が接触しないように構成されていることを特徴とする電力変換装置。
