Abstract
Description
- いずれの含浸も、ポリマーをその融点より高く、しばしば空気の存在下で溶融することによって行われる。したがって、ポリマーマトリックスは、熱酸化現象に対してあまり感受性であってはならないことが理解される。さらに、揮発性有機化合物が生成される場合、これは、最終複合材料の特性に有害であり得る多孔性の形成を伴う含浸における欠陥をもたらし得る。
- 又は溶媒経路が使用される。しかし、PAEKは、少数の、一般に高度に酸性の有機溶媒か又は高温条件下でジフェニルスルホンなどの重質溶媒にのみ溶解する。この種の溶媒を使用することの難しさに加えて、それを完全に除去することは非常に困難であり、これは揮発性有機化合物と同じ困難さを生じさせる可能性がある。
- 又は最後に、「Wet impregnation as route to unidirectional carbon fibre reinforced thermoplastic composites manufacturing(一方向炭素繊維強化熱可塑性複合体の製造経路としての湿式含浸)」というタイトルの文献(K.K.C.Ho et al., Plastics, Rubber and Composites, 2011, Vol. 40, No. 2, p. 100 -107)に記載されているように、PAEK粉末の水性懸濁液がより一般的に使用される。したがって、例えばPAEK粉末及び界面活性剤の懸濁液が使用され、これは、例えば炭素繊維又はガラス繊維上に堆積される。繊維をオーブンに通して水を蒸発させ、その後ポリマーが溶融して炭素繊維をコーティングするように、典型的には400℃を超える高温でダイに入れる。その後、得られた予備含浸したストリップを使用し、それらを再び高温で加熱することによって複合体を形成する。
したがって本発明の目的は、PAEKをベースとする組成物を、溶融状態で、温度単独の影響下に限らず、熱酸化現象に対して安定化させる方法を提案することである。
- リン酸塩は、次の塩うちの少なくとも1種、すなわちアンモニウム、ナトリウム、カルシウム、亜鉛、カリウム、アルミニウム、マグネシウム、ジルコニウム、バリウム、リチウム又は希土類のリン酸塩のうちの1種(又はそれ以上)から選択され;
- より具体的には、リン酸塩は、次の化合物:無水リン酸一ナトリウム、リン酸一ナトリウム一水和物又はリン酸一ナトリウムニ水和物、無水リン酸二ナトリウム、リン酸二ナトリウム二水和物、リン酸二ナトリウム七水和物、リン酸二ナトリウム八水和物又はリン酸二ナトリウム十二水和物、六方晶系無水リン酸三ナトリウム(anhydrous hexagonal trisodium phosphate)、立方晶系無水リン酸三ナトリウム、リン酸三ナトリウム半水和物、リン酸三ナトリウム六水和物、リン酸三ナトリウム八水和物、リン酸三ナトリウム十二水和物又はリン酸二水素アンモニウムのうちの少なくとも1種から選択され;
- リン酸塩は、1種(又はそれ以上)の有機金属リン酸塩であり、次の式;
-CH2-;
-C(CH3)2-;-C(CF3)2-;-SO2-;-S-;-CO-;-O-
から選択される少なくとも1の基によって分離されており、Mは、周期律表のIA族又はIIA族の元素を表す}を有し;
- 有機金属リン酸塩は、リン酸2,2’-メチレンビス(4,6-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)ナトリウムであり;
- リン酸塩は、10ppmから50000ppm、好ましくは100から5000ppmの割合で組成物に組み込まれ;
- より具体的には、PAEKをベースとする組成物は、以下のポリマー:PEKK、PEEK、PEEKK、PEKEKK、PEEEK又はPEDEKの1をベースとする組成物であり;
- より具体的には、PAEKをベースとする組成物は、ポリ(エーテルケトンケトン)(PEKK)組成物であり;
- より具体的には、PAEKをベースとする組成物は、PEKKをベースとする組成物であり、PEKKに加えて、以下のポリマー:PEK、PEEKEK、PEEK、PEEKK、PEKEKK、PEEEK、PEDEKの少なくとも1を組成物の50重量%未満、好ましくは組成物の30重量%以下の含有量で含む。

の単位を含み、上式中、
Ar及びAr1は各々、二価の芳香族ラジカルを表し;
Ar及びAr1は、好ましくは1,3-フェニレン、1,4-フェニレン、4,4’-ビフェニレン、1,4-ナフチレン、1,5-ナフチレン、及び2,6-ナフチレンから選択され;
Xは、電子求引性基を表し、好ましくはカルボニル基及びスルホニル基から選択され;
Yは、酸素原子、硫黄原子、アルキレン基(-CH2-及びイソプロピリデンなど)から選択される基を表し;
これらの単位X及びYにおいて、基Xの少なくとも50%、好ましくは少なくとも70%、より具体的には少なくとも80%がカルボニル基であり、基Yの少なくとも50%、好ましくは少なくとも70%、より具体的には少なくとも80%が酸素原子である。
好ましい実施態様によれば、基Xの100%がカルボニル基を表し、基Yの100%が酸素原子である。

Claims (10)
- 熱酸化の現象に対して安定化する剤を組み込む工程を含む、PAEKをベースとする組成物を安定化させるための方法であって、組み込まれる安定化剤がリン酸塩又はリン酸塩の混合物であることを特徴とする、方法。
- リン酸塩が、ドライブレンド、コンパウンディング、湿式含浸の技術のいずれか1つによって、又はPAEKポリマーを合成するためのプロセス中に、PAEKをベースとする組成物に組み込まれることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- リン酸塩が、次の塩のうちの少なくとも1種、すなわちアンモニウム、ナトリウム、カルシウム、亜鉛、カリウム、アルミニウム、マグネシウム、ジルコニウム、バリウム、リチウム又は希土類のリン酸塩のうちの1種(又はそれ以上)のから選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- リン酸塩が、より具体的には、次の化合物、すなわち無水リン酸一ナトリウム、リン酸一ナトリウム一水和物又はリン酸一ナトリウムニ水和物、無水リン酸二ナトリウム、リン酸二ナトリウム二水和物、リン酸二ナトリウム七水和物、リン酸二ナトリウム八水和物又はリン酸二ナトリウム十二水和物、六方晶系無水リン酸三ナトリウム、立方晶系無水リン酸三ナトリウム、リン酸三ナトリウム半水和物、リン酸三ナトリウム六水和物、リン酸三ナトリウム八水和物、リン酸三ナトリウム十二水和物又はリン酸二水素アンモニウムのうちの少なくとも1種から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 有機金属リン酸塩がリン酸2,2’-メチレンビス(4,6-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)ナトリウムであることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の方法。
- リン酸塩が10ppmから50000ppm、好ましくは100から5000ppmの割合で組成物に組み込まれることを特徴とする、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- PAEKをベースとする組成物が、より具体的には次のポリマー:PEKK、PEEK、PEEKK、PEKEKK、PEEEK又はPEDEKのうちの1種をベースとする組成物であることを特徴とする、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- PAEKをベースとする組成物が、より具体的にはポリ(エーテルケトンケトン)(PEKK)組成物であることを特徴とする、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- PAEKをベースとする組成物が、より具体的にはPEKKをベースとする組成物であり、かつ、PEKKに加えて次のポリマー:PEK、PEEKEK、PEEK、PEEKK、PEKEKK、PEEEK、PEDEKのうちの少なくとも1を、組成物の50重量%未満、好ましくは組成物の30重量%以下の含有量で含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
