Abstract
Description
Claims (22)
- ホイールを用いるタイヤ性能試験方法であって、
回転するよう構成されたホイールであって、前記ホイールが、前記ホイールの環状側に沿って配置され、動作中にタイヤに係合するよう構成されたタイヤ動作面を有し、前記タイヤ動作面が曲線を付けて形成された経路に沿った前記ホイールの円周方向に対して横方向に延びる幅を有する前記ホイールを提供するステップと、
タイヤのトレッドを前記ホイールの前記タイヤ動作面に対して強制的に係合させるステップと、
前記先行するステップにより係合している前記タイヤおよび前記ホイールをタイヤ評価するために十分な期間回転させるステップとを含む方法。 - 前記タイヤ動作面が、前記タイヤ動作面の中央線に対して横方向に外側に延びるにつれ前記ホイールの前記回転軸に向かって径方向に内向きにテーパーが付けられ、前記中央線が前記タイヤ動作面の周方向に延びる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記タイヤ動作面の前記幅が、凸状の経路に沿って横方向に延びて、横方向に凸状のタイヤ動作面を形成する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記凸状の経路が一定曲率半径によって画定される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記曲線を付けて形成された経路が、一定曲率半径によって画定される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記曲率半径が、前記面と前記ホイールの前記回転軸の前記交差点に位置する起点を有する、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記曲率半径が、前記面に沿って、前記ホイールの前記回転軸と前記タイヤ動作面の間に位置する起点を有する、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記ホイールの前記回転軸が、前記タイヤ動作面と前記起点の間に位置するように前記曲率半径が前記面に沿った起点を有する、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記曲線を付けて形成された経路が、2つ以上の異なる曲率半径によって画定される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記曲線を付けて形成された経路が、1対の円筒状部の間に配置された曲線を付けて形成された部分を提供する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記曲線を付けて形成された経路が、前記ホイールの軸方向に曲線を付けて形成された1対の曲率部の間に配置された凸状の中央部を画定し、前記1対の曲線を付けて形成された湾曲部は前記ホイールの窪んだ側部を形成する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- タイヤ性能を試験する機械であって、
回転するよう構成されたホイールであって、前記ホイールの環状側に沿って配置され、前記ホイールが動作中にタイヤに係合するよう構成されたタイヤ動作面を有し、前記タイヤ動作面が、曲線を付けて形成された経路に沿った前記ホイールの円周方向に対して横方向に延びる幅を有するホイールと、
前記ホイールを回転させるよう構成された駆動源と、
タイヤを回転可能に保持し、前記ホイールに対して前記タイヤを強制的に維持するよう構成されたタイヤマウントとを有する機械。 - 前記タイヤ動作面が、前記タイヤ動作面の中央線に対して横方向に外側に延びるにつれ前記ホイールの前記回転軸に向かって径方向に内向きにテーパーが付けられ、前記中央線が前記タイヤ動作面の周方向に延びる、請求項12に記載の機械。
- 前記タイヤ動作面の前記幅の少なくとも一部が凸状の経路に沿って横方向に延び、横方向に凸状のタイヤ動作面を形成する、請求項13に記載の機械。
- 前記凸状の経路が、一定曲率半径によって画定される、請求項14に記載の機械。
- 前記曲線を付けて形成された経路の少なくとも一部が、一定曲率半径によって画定される、請求項12に記載の機械。
- 前記曲率半径が、前記面と前記ホイールの回転軸の前記交差点に位置する起点を有する、請求項15に記載の機械。
- 前記曲率半径が、前記面に沿って、前記ホイールの回転軸と前記タイヤ動作面の間に位置する起点を有する、請求項15に記載の機械。
- 前記ホイールの前記回転軸が、前記タイヤ動作面と前記起点の間に位置するように、前記曲率半径が、前記面に沿って位置する起点を有する、請求項14に記載の機械。
- 前記曲線を付けて形成された経路が、2つ以上の異なる曲率半径によって画定される、請求項12に記載の機械。
- 前記曲線を付けて形成された経路が、1対の円筒状部の間に配置された曲線を付けて形成された部分を提供する、請求項12に記載の機械。
- 前記曲線を付けて形成された経路が、前記ホイールの軸方向に曲線を付けて形成された1対の曲率部の間に配置された凸状の中央部を画定し、前記1対の曲線を付けて形成された湾曲部は前記ホイールの窪んだ側部を形成する、請求項12に記載の機械。
