Description
Claims (23)
- ロードホイールのためのタイヤ動作面を形成するための方法において、前記方法が、
テクスチャ加工されたタイヤ動作面を受容するための長手方向に凸状の接合面を提供するステップであって、前記接合面が、回転可能なロードホイールの径方向外側部に関連付けられ、円弧状経路に沿って延びた幅および凸状長さを有する、長手方向に凸状の接合面を提供するステップと、
前記接合面に沿って配列された長手方向に凸状の接着剤材料層を備えるコーティングされた接合面を形成するために、前記長手方向に凸状の接合面に沿って所定の厚さの接着剤材料を適用するステップと、
保持面に沿って単一のアグリゲート材料層を配列するステップと、
前記コーティングされた接合面の前記長手方向に凸状の接着剤材料層の幅を、前記単一のアグリゲート層と係合させるステップと、
前記凸状の接着剤材料層の長さが前記単一のアグリゲート層に係合するまで、前記保持面に対して長さ方向に、前記コーティングされた接合面を回転させるステップであって、回転の後、前記係合されたアグリゲートを、前記保持面から前記コーティングされた接合面に効果的に転写して前記接着剤層をアグリゲートでコーティングするために、前記係合されたアグリゲートを前記接着剤層に付着させたままにし、それにより、前記接合面に沿ってタイヤ動作面を形成するために、前記単一のアグリゲート層を前記接合面に沿って付着させる、前記コーティングされた接合面を回転させるステップと
を含む、ロードホイールのためのタイヤ動作面を形成するための方法。 - 前記長手方向に凸状の接合面に沿って所定の厚さの接着剤材料を適用する前記ステップが、
前記接合面の長さに沿って接着剤ガイド部材の対を配列することであって、前記接着剤ガイド部材が、円弧長さを有し、前記接着剤材料を受容するための区域を提供するために前記接合面の幅にわたって横方向に離間している、接着剤ガイド部材の対を配列することと、
前記所定の厚さに少なくとも等しい厚さを達成するために、接着剤ガイド部材の前記対の間に接着剤材料を適用することと
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記長手方向に凸状の接合面に沿って所定の厚さの接着剤材料を適用する前記ステップが、前記接合面の長さに沿って接着剤材料を押し出すことを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記長手方向に凸状の接合面に沿って所定の厚さの接着剤材料を適用する前記ステップが、
前記接合面にわたって、かつ、接着剤ガイド部材の前記対の上に横方向にレベリング部材を配列することと、
前記接着剤ガイド部材の上で、前記接合面の長さ方向に前記レベリング部材を平行移動させることと
をさらに含む、請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記所定の厚さが、前記接着剤ガイド部材が前記基部部材から延びる高さに等しい、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記アグリゲートが、前記接着剤材料を実質的に覆う、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記接着剤材料が、接着剤ガイド部材の前記対の間の前記区域を実質的に覆い、前記アグリゲートが、前記接着剤材料を実質的に覆う、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記長手方向に凸状の接合面が、基部部材の径方向外側表面を備え、前記基部部材は、前記接着剤層を前記アグリゲートでコーティングしたときに前記基部部材がタイヤ動作面セグメントを形成するように、凹状の内側部と長手方向に凸状の外側部との間に径方向に延びる厚さを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 複数のタイヤ動作面セグメントを形成するために、先行ステップを少なくとも1回繰り返すステップと、
前記ロードホイールの前記径方向外側部に沿って環状タイヤ動作面を形成するために、前記回転可能なロードホイールの外面径方向外側部に沿って前記複数のタイヤ動作面セグメントを設置するステップと
をさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。 - 前記基部部材を形成するために金属シートを曲げ加工するステップ
をさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。 - 複数のアグリゲートを配列する前記ステップが、十分にサイズ設定されたアグリゲートを選択し、所望のテクスチャを有するタイヤ動作面を形成するために前記アグリゲートを選択的に配列することによって手動で実行される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 複数のアグリゲートを単一の層に配列する前記ステップが、保持面に沿って、前記接着剤層の長さおよび幅に少なくともほぼ等しい長さおよび幅を有する保持面に沿った区域内にアグリゲートを配列することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記保持面の幅にわたってアグリゲートガイド部材の対を横方向に離間させるステップであって、保持面に沿って単一のアグリゲート材料層を配列する前記ステップが、アグリゲートガイド部材の前記対の間に前記アグリゲートを配列することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティングされた接合面の前記長手方向に凸状の接着剤材料層の幅を、前記単一のアグリゲート層と係合させる前記ステップ、および、前記保持面に対して長さ方向に前記コーティングされた接合面を回転させる前記ステップの間、アグリゲートガイド部材の前記対が、前記保持面と前記接合面との間に延びる、請求項13に記載の方法。
- アグリゲートガイド部材の前記対が、前記基部部材と前記保持面との間の高さ、前記保持面に沿って配列された前記アグリゲートの高さよりも大きい距離だけ延びる、請求項13に記載の方法。
- アグリゲートガイド部材の前記対が、前記保持面に対して固定される、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 接着剤ガイド部材の前記対は、前記接着剤材料を適用した後、前記接着剤材料に沿って前記アグリゲートを配列する前に、前記ベース表面から除去される、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 保持面に沿って単一のアグリゲート材料層を配列する前記ステップが、
前記保持面にわたって、かつ、アグリゲートガイド部材の前記対の上に横方向にアグリゲートレベリング部材を配列することと、

- 前記基部部材の前記凹状の内側部の曲率半径が、前記ロードホイールの前記外側部の曲率半径に等しいか、あるいは、前記ロードホイールの前記外側部の曲率半径の7%以内である、請求項1に記載の方法。
