Abstract
【解決手段】 接着面に液体接着剤を各コーナー付近と中心部に点状に一定量塗布し、点状に塗布された接着剤を線状に結ぶように接着剤を塗布する。この接着面を反転して接着剤に液だれを形成させ、対向する被着体にこの液だれを接触させて接着剤を充填させ、透明板側から光を照射して接着剤を硬化させる。すなわち、点接触で接着剤を接触させた後に、接着剤気泡の入り込まない形状に接着剤を流動した後に、接着剤を充填する。

Description
(実施例1)
以下に本発明の実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。図1は、フラットディスプレイの全面に配置する透明板1であり、材料はアクリルである。厚みは1.5mmである。大きさは、40×40mmである。ディスプレイの外形サイズは、45×32mmで厚みは1.3mmである。表示画面のエリアは、36×28.5mmである。ディスプレイは、液晶ディスプレイ3の表示画面のエリアより大きい範囲には、額縁形状の黒色との印刷物を形成してある。印刷物は、ディスプレイ側の面に形成する。印刷の他にスパッタなどの方法により金属膜を形成し、更に印刷物を積層する場合もある。図2は透明板の接着面に、接着剤2を点塗布で各角と中央に5点塗布した上面図である。接着剤2は、接着面積に対して約0.01318g/cm2を塗布する。この場合は、総量として0.1687g塗布する。点塗布の接着剤2の量は、1点あたり約0.028g塗布する。また、この接着剤は、紫外線硬化型接着剤で、硬化後の特性としては、弾性率は1.6×106Paで屈折率は1.52である。更に図3に示すように各角に塗布した接着剤2と中央に塗布した接着剤2とを線状に接着剤2を塗布する。線状に塗布する接着剤は、点塗布した接着剤間に塗布する他に、点塗布した接着剤より外周側に塗布してもよい。

Claims (5)
- 多角形の透明体と表示素子が透明接着剤で接着された表示装置の製造方法であって、前記透明体の接着面または前記表示素子の接着面に、各角付近を含む複数の箇所に液だれを形成できる一定量の点形状と、
前記点形状の間を前記多角形の全ての辺の外側に開放するように線状に結んだ線形状で粘度2000〜3000cPの液体接着剤を塗布する工程と、
前記液体接着剤を塗布した透明体または表示素子を反転する工程と、
前記点形状に塗布した液体接着剤に液だれを形成する工程と、
前記液体接着剤を塗布した透明体または表示素子を前記液だれに衝撃を加えないスピードで下降させた状態で対向する被着体に前記液体接着剤を接触させる工程と、
前記被着体が前記点形状と前記線形状に濡れた時点で、前記液体接着剤を塗布した透明体または表示素子をフリーにし、前記透明体と前記表示素子の間に前記液体接着剤を自重により充填する工程と、
前記液体接着剤を硬化する工程と、を備えることを特徴とする表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記液体接着剤の硬化収縮率が1〜6%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記透明体と前記表示素子の間に充填された前記透明接着剤の厚みが30μm〜200μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記液体接着剤はUVまたは可視光で硬化する光硬化型の液体接着剤であり、前記液体接着剤を硬化する工程において、前記液体接着剤に前記透明体を通して第一の光を照射する第一の硬化手段と前記透明体の側面方向から第二の光を直接照射する第二の硬化手段を用いて前記液体接着剤を硬化させることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の表示装置の製造方法。
- 多角形の透明板と板状の被着体を透明接着剤で接着する貼り合せ方法であって、前記透明板の接着面または前記被着体の接着面に、各角付近を含む複数の箇所に液だれを形成できる一定量の点形状と、
前記点形状の間を前記多角形の全ての辺の外側に開放するように線状に結んだ線形状で粘度2000〜3000cPの液体接着剤を塗布する工程と、
前記液体接着剤を塗布した透明板または被着体を反転する工程と、
前記点形状に塗布した液体接着剤に液だれを形成する工程と、
前記液体接着剤を塗布した透明板または被着体を前記液だれに衝撃を加えないスピードで下降させた状態で対向する前記被着体または前記透明板に前記液体接着剤を接触させる工程と、
前記対向する被着体または透明板が前記点形状と前記線形状に濡れた時点で、前記液体接着剤を塗布した透明板または被着体をフリーにし、前記透明板と前記被着体の間に前記液体接着剤を自重により充填する工程と、
前記液体接着剤を硬化する工程と、を備えることを特徴とする貼り合せ方法。
