Claims (26)
- 第1の主表面を含む基材と、
前記基材の前記第1の主表面から突出する少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルと、
前記基材の前記第1の主表面に面する第1の側面および前記基材から向きがそれている第2の側面を含むカバーと、
前記基材の前記第1の主表面と前記カバーの前記第1の側面との間に位置する毛管容積とを含み、
前記少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルが前記基材の前記第1の主表面に近接する基部と前記基部から遠位の先端部とを含み、
前記少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルが前記カバーの前記第1の側面および前記第2の側面を通して貫通し、
前記毛管容積が前記少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルの前記基部の少なくとも一部と接触する、
マイクロニードル装置。 - 前記毛管容積が前記基材によって形成される導管構造体を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記毛管容積内に位置するスタンドオフ構造体をさらに含み、前記スタンドオフ構造体が前記毛管容積を少なくとも部分的に画定する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記スタンドオフ構造体が、少なくとも1つの選択された方向に延びる指向性溝を画定する、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記毛管容積内に位置するスタンドオフ構造体をさらに含み、前記スタンドオフ構造体が前記毛管容積を少なくとも部分的に画定し、前記スタンドオフ構造体が前記基材の前記第1の主表面から突出する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記毛管容積内に位置するスタンドオフ構造体をさらに含み、前記スタンドオフ構造体が少なくとも部分的に前記毛管容積を画定し、前記スタンドオフ構造体が実質的に前記多孔質構造体内に位置する前記毛管容積を有する多孔質層を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記毛管容積内に親水性表面をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルの外面に形成される溝をさらに含み、前記溝が前記基部から前記少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルの先端部に向けて延びる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記カバーの前記第2上に側面の目止め接着剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記基材が前記基材に付着するハウジングに面する第2の主表面を含み、リザーバ容積部がハウジングと基材との間に位置し、さらに前記基材が前記基材の前記第1および前記第2の主表面を通過して形成する少なくとも1つの空隙を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 第1の主表面および第2の主表面を含む基材と、
前記基材の前記第1の主表面から突出する少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルと、
前記基材の前記第1の主表面に面する第1の側面および前記基材から向きがそれている第2の側面を含むカバーと、
前記基材の前記第1の主表面と前記カバーの前記第1の側面との間に位置する毛管容積と、
前記基材の前記第2の主表面に近接するバッキングと、
前記基材周辺の周囲の前記バッキングに付着するキャップとを含み、
前記少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルが前記基材の前記第1の主表面に近接する基部と前記基部から遠位の先端部とを含み、
前記少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルが前記カバーの前記第1の側面および前記第2の側面を通して貫通し、
前記毛管容積が前記少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルの前記基部の少なくとも一部に接触し、
前記バッキングが前記基材周辺を通過して伸び、
前記基材の前記第1の主表面が前記キャップに面し、前記基材および前記少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルが前記バッキングと前記キャップとの間に封入される、
マイクロニードル装置。 - 前記キャップが前記基材周辺外面の前記バッキングに付着し、前記キャップが前記基材周辺外面の前記バッキングに熱接合され、あるいは前記バッキングと前記キャップが前記基材および前記少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルを封入する水分不浸透性パッケージを構成する、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルが複数のマイクロニードルを含む、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記カバーが液体不浸透性膜を含む、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記毛管容積と流体連通状態にあるセンサー要素をさらに含む、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 導電性パターンをさらに含み、前記導電性パターンの一部が前記センサー要素と接触する、請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記毛管容積と流体連通するグルコース試験要素をさらに含み、前記装置が前記グルコース試験要素と接触する陽極および陰極を構成する導電性パターンをさらに含む、請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 第1の主表面を有する基材と、前記基材の前記第1の主表面から突出する少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルとを提供するステップと、
前記基材の前記第1の主表面に面する第1の側面を含むカバーを提供するステップと、
前記少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルの先端部を前記カバーを通して押し出すステップと、
前記基材の前記第1の主表面と前記カバーの前記第1の側面との間に位置する毛管容積を形成するステップとを含み、
前記少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルが前記基材の前記第1の主表面に近接する基部と前記基部から遠位の先端部とを含み、
前記毛管容積が前記少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルの前記基部の少なくとも一部に接触する、
マイクロニードル装置を製造する方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルが複数のマイクロニードルを含み、前記複数のマイクロニードルの先端部が前記カバーを通して押し出される、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのマイクロニードルの先端部を前記カバー膜を通して押出しながら、超音波エネルギーを前記基材に印加するステップをさらに含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記毛管容積内の多孔質層を提供するステップをさらに含み、前記毛管容積が実質的に前記多孔質構造体内に位置する、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記毛管容積内に親水性表面を提供するステップをさらに含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記毛管容積と流体連通するセンサー要素を提供するステップをさらに含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 導電性パターンを提供するステップをさらに含み、前記導電性パターンの一部が前記センサー要素と接触する、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記毛管容積と流体連通するグルコース試験要素を提供するステップをさらに含み、前記グルコース試験要素と接触する陽極および陰極を含む導電性パターンを提供するステップをさらに含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
