【特許請求の範囲】
【請求項1】 活性化処理に依存せずに水素を吸着することができる非蒸発性ゲッター材料粉末(12;22)でできた複合材料(10;20)であって、前記ゲッター材料粉末の表面の少なくとも10%が、金属パラジウム、酸化パラジウム、30原子%までの銀を含有するパラジウム−銀合金、及びパラジウムと前記ゲッター材料の1又は複数の金属との化合物の1又は複数の種でできた堆積物(13;23)によってコーティングされている、活性化処理に依存せずに水素を吸着することができる非蒸発性ゲッター材料粉末でできた複合材料。
【請求項2】 非蒸発性ゲッター材料粉末でできていて活性化処理の結果として水素以外のガスも吸着することができる複合材料であって、前記ゲッター材料粉末の表面が、金属パラジウム、酸化パラジウム、30原子%までの銀を含有するパラジウム−銀合金、及びパラジウムと前記ゲッター材料の1又は複数の金属との化合物の1又は複数の種でできた堆積物によって部分的にコーティングされており、このコーティングの程度が約10〜90%である、非蒸発性ゲッター材料粉末でできていて活性化処理の結果として水素以外のガスも吸着することができる請求項1に記載の複合材料。
【請求項3】 前記非蒸発性ゲッター材料が、
Zr、Ti、Nb、Ta、V金属;
Zr及び/又はTiと、Cr、Mn、Fe、Co、Ni、Al、Cu、Sn、Si、Y、La及び希土類から選択される1又は複数の他の元素との合金;
前記金属及び前記合金の混合物;
から選択される、請求項1又は2に記載の複合材料。
【請求項4】 前記堆積物の厚さが約5μm未満である、請求項1又は2に記載の複合材料。
【請求項5】 非蒸発性ゲッター材料粉末をパラジウムの塩又は錯体の溶液に浸漬し、溶媒を蒸発させ、そして前記粉末に堆積した前記塩又は錯体を熱的に分解することによって、パラジウム、酸化パラジウム、又はそれらの混合物の堆積物を得る、請求項1又は2に記載の複合材料の調製方法。
【請求項6】 パラジウム化合物の蒸気相からの化学堆積と、それに続く熱処理による分解によって、パラジウム、酸化パラジウム、又はそれらの混合物の堆積物を、非蒸発性ゲッター材料の粉末上に提供する、請求項1又は2に記載の複合材料の調製方法。
【請求項7】 パラジウム金属の蒸着によって、パラジウムの堆積物を、非蒸発性ゲッター材料の粉末上に提供する、請求項2に記載の複合材料の調製方法。
【請求項8】 カソード堆積によって、パラジウムの堆積物を、非蒸発性ゲッター材料の粉末上に提供する、請求項2に記載の複合材料の調製方法。
【請求項9】 カソード堆積によって、パラジウム−銀合金の堆積物を、非蒸発性ゲッター材料の粉末上に提供する、請求項2に記載の複合材料の調製方法。
