Abstract
Η παρούσα αποκάλυψη παρέχει μια μέθοδο για απομόνωση φυσικών & τεχνητών πυρηνικών οξέων όπως τα δεοξυριβονουκλεϊκό οξύ (DNA), ριβονουκλεϊκό οξύ (RNA) και πυρηνικό οξύ πεπτιδίων (ΡΝΑ) από ένα στερεό ή υγρό δείγμα χρησιμοποιώντας βάμβακα. Ο βάμβαξ που συσκευάζεται είναι έτσι ώστε, ένα διάλυμα που περιέχει πυρηνικά οξέα να διέρχεται μέσα από αυτόν και τα πυρηνικά οξέα σε διάλυμα να δεσμεύονται στον βάμβακα σε ένα βέλτιστο μέσο για δέσμευση. Τα πυρηνικά οξέα δεσμεύονται σε βάμβακα κατά τέτοιο τρόπο ώστε, τα δεσμευθέντα πυρηνικά οξέα να μπορούν να αντέξουν πολλαπλές πλύσεις με υγρό περιλαμβάνοντας ύδωρ και που να εκλούονται σε ένα υδατικό ρυθμιστικό, με το οποίο τα εκλουσθέντα πυρηνικά οξέα να μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν άμεσα για ενίσχυση χρησιμοποιώντας PCR ή για τις οποιεσδήποτε άλλες βιοχημικές ανάγκες ή ανάγκες μοριακής βιολογίας.
