背景技术
无气味或有气味的产品是消费者所期望的,因为它们可被认为比有气味的产品更天然且更隐秘。用于控制恶臭的无气味或有气味产品的制造商依赖恶臭减少成分或其它技术(例如,过滤剂)来减少恶臭。然而,有效地控制恶臭,例如基于胺的恶臭(例如鱼和尿液)、基于硫醇和硫化物的恶臭(例如大蒜和洋葱)、基于C2-C12羧酸的恶臭(例如体臭和宠物体臭)、基于吲哚的恶臭(例如粪便和口臭)、基于短链脂肪醛的恶臭(例如油脂)、和基于土臭素的恶臭(例如霉菌/霉病),可能是困难的,并且对于产品显著减少恶臭所需的时间可能造成消费者怀疑产品对恶臭的功效。经常地,制造商掺入有气味的香料以帮助掩盖这些困难的恶臭。

具体实施方式
如本文所用,“MORV”是所讨论材料的经计算的恶臭减少值。材料的MORV表示此类材料减少或甚至消除一种或多种恶臭感知的能力。就本专利申请的目的而言,根据可见于本专利申请测试方法部分中的方法,计算材料的MORV。

本发明的组合物可与如常用于清洁工作台面、桌子和地板的硬质表面清洁剂一起使用。可替换的贮存器中合适的地板清洁液体由本申请的受让人以商品名WetJet出售。可根据共同转让的US专利6,814,088的教导内容来具体制备清洁溶液。贮存器可与结合有一次性踏板的地板清洁工具一起使用并从其中分配出。合适的喷雾工具由本申请的受让人以商品名WetJet出售。合适的贮存器及用于其的附件可根据共同转让的US专利6,386,392和/或7,172,099的教导内容制成。根据共同转让的US 2013/0319463的教导内容,如果需要,地板清洁工具可分配蒸汽。另选地,可使用可补充式贮存器。
如果期望,本发明的组合物可与预润湿片材一起使用。如果清洁片是预润湿的,优选采用为目标表面如地板提供清洁的液体进行预润湿,但仍不需要清洁后冲洗操作。清洁片可装载有至少1、1.5或2克的清洁溶液/克干燥基底,但通常不超过于5克/克。根据共同转让的US 6,716,805的教导内容,清洁溶液可包含表面活性剂,如使不均匀(streaking)最小化的APG表面活性剂,原因是通常不存在冲洗操作。
本发明的组合物可用于凸起的硬质表面,如由本发明的受让人以商品名Mr.Clean和Mr.Proper出售。如在本领域中所公知,组合物可从触发式喷雾器或气溶胶喷雾器分配出。气溶胶喷雾器利用推进剂的压力来分配组合物,而触发式喷雾器分配组合物通过手动致动来泵送组合物。合适的气溶胶分配器可具有浸料管或阀上袋,并且根据共同转让的US2015/0108163和/或US 2011/0303766。合适的触发式喷雾器可根据共同转让的US 8,322,631。
辅助材料
虽然对于本发明而言不是必需的,但下文所举例说明的助剂材料的非限制性列表适用于空气清新组合物,并且可期望将其掺入到本发明的某些方面中以例如有助于或增强混合物的相稳定性,有助于或增强清新组合物向织物的递送,防止清新组合物例如通过氧化而降解,增加附加有益效果,或在含香料、着色剂、染料等的情况下调节组合物的美观性。这些附加组分的确切性质及其掺入量将取决于组合物的物理形式以及其所应用的操作的性质。合适的助剂材料包括但不限于水、染料、增稠剂、稀释剂、防腐剂、溶剂、驱昆虫剂、抗微生物剂、芳香剂、芳香治疗剂,或其它成分。
如所声明的,辅助成分不是申请人组合物所必需的。因此,申请人的组合物的某些方面不包含一种或多种以下助剂材料:水、染料、增稠剂、稀释剂、防腐剂、溶剂、驱昆虫剂、抗微生物剂、芳香剂、芳香治疗剂,或其它成分。然而,当存在一种或多种助剂时,此类一种或多种助剂可按以下详述存在。
芳香剂
可将任何已知的芳香剂组合物与恶臭减少组合物结合使用。芳香剂组合物可由合成材料或天然源材料组成。示例可包括但不限于:香柠檬、苦橙、柠檬、中国柑桔、藏茴香、雪松叶、丁香叶、雪松木、老鹳草、熏衣草、桔子、牛至、苦橙叶、白扁柏、绿叶刺蕊草、橙花、绝对玫瑰、以及任何其它合适材料的油。
芳香剂材料也可起源于结晶固体的形式,所述固体具有在环境温度时升华为蒸汽相的能力,或可用来使液体产生芳香。芳香剂组合物可使用任何合适的量或形式。例如,合适的结晶固体可包括但不限于:香草醛、乙基香草醛、香豆素、吐纳麝香、西瓜酮、洋茉莉醛、二甲苯麝香、雪松醇、麝香酮二苯甲酮、悬钩子酮、甲基萘基酮β、苯乙基水杨酸酯、麦芽酚、麦芽醇、槭树内酯、异丁子香酚乙酸酯、等等。
当存在时,芳香剂材料可以以任意量存在,诸如按所述组合物的总重量计0.1至99.9999%,或优选10%至99%,或最优选20%至80%。
溶剂和稀释剂
合适的溶剂和稀释剂可用于稀释芳香剂和/或恶臭减少组合物,或有助于溶解固体芳香剂或恶臭减少组合物。合适的稀释剂/溶剂包括但不限于水、低分子量醇类和二醇类诸如甲醇、乙醇、异丙醇、双丙二醇和二甘醇,二醇醚诸如二丙二醇甲基醚、三丙二醇甲基醚、二丙二醇甲醚乙酸酯和丙二醇正丁醚,酯类诸如己二酸、苯甲酸、葡糖酸、戊二酸、琥珀酸、乙酸的那些酯,或任何其它合适的溶剂。
当存在时,溶剂和/或稀释剂可以以任意量存在,例如按所述组合物的总重量计0.1-90%,或优选5-75%,或最优选10-60%。
增稠剂
可期望向本发明的组合物中添加增稠剂以控制组合物的粘度。这可以例如防止组合物从递送装置渗漏出,控制从递送装置递送组合物的速度,或改变组合物的外观。可使用任何合适的增稠剂,包括但不限于:纤维素增稠剂诸如羟乙基纤维素、羟丙基甲基纤维素、乙基纤维素和羟丙基纤维素,树胶诸如瓜尔胶、黄原胶、结冷胶和刺槐豆胶、果胶、明胶、琼脂,基于藻酸的增稠剂,基于角叉菜胶的增稠剂,聚乙烯醇及其衍生物,引入丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸的聚合物及其衍生物,粘土诸如膨润土以及任何其它合适的增稠剂,或它们的混合物。
当存在时,增稠剂可以以任意量存在,例如按所述组合物的总重量计0.0001至20%,或优选0.001至10%,或最优选0.01至5%。
任选地,可将辅助剂添加至本文的清新组合物中以用于其已知目的。此类辅助剂包括但不限于:昆虫和蛾驱避剂;油或水溶性着色剂;抗氧化剂;芳香治疗剂以及它们的混合物。
除了本发明的恶臭减少组合物之外,清新组合物还可包含其它恶臭减少技术。这可包括但不限于胺官能化聚合物、金属离子、环糊精、环糊精衍生物、多元醇、氧化剂、活性炭、反应性醛、紫罗酮、以及它们的组合。
空气和织物清新递送形式
本发明的组合物可用于将挥发性物质递送到大气环境或非生物表面上(例如织物表面,作为织物清新剂)的装置。此类装置可以以多种方式构造。
例如,装置可被构造成用作增能空气清新器(即由电;或化学反应如催化剂燃料系统;或太阳能;等来供能)。示例性增能空气清新装置包括动力递送辅助装置,其可包括加热元件、高压元件、热喷墨元件、风扇组件等。更具体地,所述装置可为如U.S.7,223,361中所述的电力壁式插头空气清新器;具有加热和/或风扇元件的电池(包括可再充电电池)供电的空气清新器。在增能装置中,挥发性物质的递送引擎可被放置成紧靠动力递送辅助装置以扩散挥发性香料物质。关于递送辅助装置,挥发性香料物质可配制成最佳扩散。
装置可被构造成用作非增能空气清新器。示例性非增能空气清新器包括贮存器和任选的毛细管或芯吸装置或发散表面,以有助于挥发性物质被动地扩散到空气中(即无增能装置)。更具体的示例包括递送引擎,其具有用于包含挥发性物质的贮液器和封闭贮液器的微孔膜,如在美国专利8,709,337和美国专利8,931,711中所公开的。
装置也可构造成用作气溶胶喷雾器或非气溶胶喷雾器,包括传统触发式喷雾器以及具有用于其中流体的预压缩和/或缓冲系统的触发式喷雾器。在该实施方案中,递送引擎可按使用者的需要向大气中递送挥发性物质或可被编程而自动地递送挥发性物质。
所述设备也可被构造成用于空气净化系统以向大气中同时递送净化的空气和挥发性物质。非限制性示例包括用于小空间(例如卧室、浴室、汽车等)中的使用电离和/或过滤技术的空气净化系统、以及整个房屋的中央空调/加热系统(例如HVAC)。
测试方法
恶臭减少材料可与混合物分开,包括但不限于成品如消费品,并且由包括GC-MS和/或NMR的分析方法鉴定。
测定饱和蒸汽压(VP)的测试方法
计算所测试香料混合物中每种PRM的饱和蒸汽压(VP)值。使用得自AdvancedChemistry Development Inc.(ACD/Labs)(Toronto,Canada)的14.02版VP ComputationalModel(Linux)计算单独PRM的VP,以提供25℃下的VP值,以单位托表示。ACD/Labs的蒸汽压模型是ACD/Labs模型套件的一部分。
测定辛醇/水分配系数的对数(logP)的测试方法
计算所测试香料混合物中每种PRM的辛醇/水分配系数的对数值(logP)。使用得自Advanced Chemistry Development Inc.(ACD/Labs)(Toronto,Canada)的14.02版Consensus logP Computational Model(Linux)计算单独PRM的logP,以提供无量纲的logP值。ACD/Labs的Consensus logP Computational Model是ACD/Labs模型套件的一部分。
产生分子描述符的测试方法
为了实施本文所述计算值测试方法中涉及的计算,所需起始信息包括待测香料中每种PRM的标识、重量百分比和摩尔百分比(作为该香料的比例),其中香料组合物中的所有PRM包括在计算之内。另外,对于那些PRM中的每一种,还需要分子结构和各种计算得出的分子描述符的值,如根据本文所述的产生分子描述符的测试方法所测得的。
对于香料混合物或组合物中的每种PRM,使用其分子结构计算各种分子描述符。分子结构由Chemical Abstract Service(“CAS”)(American Chemical Society(Columbus,Ohio,U.S.A.)的一个部门)提供的分子结构图示确定。这些分子结构可通过查找每种PRM的索引号或CAS号获自CAS Chemical Registry System数据库。对于在它们测试时尚未列于CAS Chemical Registry System数据库中的PRM,可使用其它数据库或信息来源来确定它们的结构。对于可能存在多于一种异构体的PRM,采用选择代表该PRM的仅一种异构体的分子结构,来实施分子描述符计算。异构体的选择由异构体分子结构的相对延伸量来确定。在给定PRM的所有异构体中,选择代表该PRM的异构体是其分子结构最常见的异构体。该PRM的其它可能异构体的结构不包括于计算中。最常见异构体的分子结构与该PRM的浓度配对,其中所述浓度反映其在该PRM所有异构体中的含量。
使用分子编辑器或分子绘画软件程序如ChemDraw(CambridgeSoft/PerkinElmerInc.,Waltham,Massachusetts,U.S.A.)来复制代表每种PRM的2-维分子结构。分子结构应表示为中性物质(允许季氮原子),没有断开的片段(例如没有抗衡离子的单一结构)。下述winMolconn程序可通过添加适当氢原子数并且弃去抗衡离子,将任何去质子官能团转变成中性形式。
对于每种PRM,使用分子绘图软件生成描述PRM的分子结构的文件。随后将描述PRM分子结构的一个或多个文件提交给计算机软件程序winMolconn 1.0.1.3版(HallAssociates Consulting,Quincy,Massachusetts,U.S.A.,www.molconn.com),以递送每种PRM的各个分子描述符。因此,正是winMolconn软件程序指定了结构符号表示和为可接受选项的文件格式。这些选项包括MACCS SDF格式文件(即结构-数据文件);或简化分子线性输入规范(Simplified Molecular Input Line Entry Specification)(即SMILES字符串结构线性符号表示),其通常用于简单的文本文件中,一般具有“.smi”或“.txt”文件扩展名。SDF文件代表多行记录格式的每种分子结构,而SMILES结构的语法为没有空格的单行文本。可通过将结构名或标识符包括于SMILES字符串后的同一行中,并且用空格间隔,将它添加到SMILES字符串中,例如:C1=CC=CC=C1苯。
使用winMolconn软件程序生成每种PRM的多个分子描述符,然后将其以表格格式输出。随后使用由winMolconn导出的具体分子描述符作为各种计算机模型试验方法的输入(即为数学公式中的变量项),以计算每种PRM的数值如:饱和蒸汽压(VP);沸点(BP);辛醇/水分配系数的对数(logP);气味检测阈值(ODT);恶臭减少值(MORV);和/或通用恶臭减少值(通用MORV)。模型测算方法计算中所用的分子描述符标记是winMolconn程序中所述报导的相同的标记,并且它们的描述和定义可见于winMolconn文件中所列出的。以下是如何实施winMolconn软件程序的一般性说明,并且生成组合物中每种PRM所需的分子结构描述符。
使用winMolconn计算分子结构描述符:
1)组装MACCS结构-数据文件(也称为SDF文件,或为SMILES文件)形式的一种或多种香料成分的分子结构。
2)使用在适当计算机上运行的1.0.1.3版winMolconn程序,使用上述SDF或SMILES文件作为输入,计算得自所述程序的全套分子描述符。

指定恶臭减少化合物的芳香保真度指数(FFI)和阻隔指数(BI)的方法
适用于本发明消费品中的阻隔材料针对它们减少恶臭,同时不干扰气味感知的能力来选择。通过由两个基准标度指定测试样品材料的两个指数,以将气味强度分级,进行材料选择。两个基准标度为芳香保真度指数(FFI)标度和阻隔指数(BI)标度。FFI将测试样品材料赋予可感知气味的能力分级,当与另一种芳香剂混合时,所述能力可造成干扰,并且BI将测试样品材料减少恶臭感知的能力分级。基于FFI和BI基准标度,向测试样品指定指数的两种方法示于下文中。
对测试样品指定FFI的方法
基于FFI基准标度,对测试样品指定FFI的方法的第一步是形成FFI基准样本。通过用已知量的已知浓度的乙基香草醛溶液处理干净的织物样本,形成用于标度的样本。用于该测试的织物样本为自EMC以PC 50/50购买的白色针织涤棉布(4英寸×4英寸)样本。指示供应商首先将样本洗脱,洗脱涉及用不含芳香剂的洗涤剂洗涤两次,并且漂洗三次。
制备FFI基准样本

下列恶臭减少组合物通过混合所列成分来制得。所有成分以恶臭减少组合物的总重量百分比计。
实施例4A-4F和5.1-5.6中的各个恶臭减少组合物以约1%至约100%的含量用作空气清新装置中的组分。然后,将消费产品用于空气护理装置来处理空气,和/或作为处理组合物来处理织物和/或硬质表面。

Claims (15)

1.一种空气清新组合物,所述组合物包含基于总组合物重量计:
a)总计0.0001%至100%,优选0.0001%至50%,更优选0.01%至25%,最优选0.07%至15%的一种或多种恶臭减少材料,优选1至20种恶臭减少材料,更优选1至15种恶臭减少材料,最优选1至10种恶臭减少材料,每种所述恶臭减少材料具有至少0.5,优选0.5至10,更优选1至10,最优选1至5的MORV,并且优选地每种所述恶臭减少材料具有通用MORV,或者所述恶臭减少材料的总和具有小于3,更优选小于2.5,甚至更优选小于2,并且还更优选小于1并且最优选0的阻隔指数和/或平均3至0.001的阻隔指数;和
b)任选地,0.01%至90%,优选10%至90%,更优选20%至80%,最优选30%至70%的至少一种溶剂,优选地所述溶剂包含具有以下蒸汽压的有机材料:0.000625托至约0.625托;优选0.00625托至0.425托;更优选0.0625托至0.325托,最优选0.0875托至0.225托;
c)任选地,助剂成分。
2.根据权利要求1所述的清新组合物,其中所述恶臭减少材料的总合具有小于3,更优选小于2.5,甚至更优选小于2,并且还更优选小于1并且最优选0的阻隔指数和/或平均3至0.001的阻隔指数。
3.根据权利要求1所述的清新组合物,其中每种所述恶臭减少材料具有至少0.5,优选0.5至10,更优选1至10,最优选1至5的MORV,并且优选地每种所述恶臭减少材料具有通用MORV。
4.根据权利要求2所述的清新组合物,其中每种所述恶臭减少材料具有至少0.5,优选0.5至10,更优选1至10,最优选1至5的MORV,并且优选地每种所述恶臭减少材料具有通用MORV。
5.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的清新组合物,其中所述恶臭减少材料总和具有平均3至0.001芳香保真度指数的芳香保真度指数,优选地所述恶臭减少材料的总和中的每种恶臭减少材料具有小于3,优选小于2,更优选小于1的芳香保真度指数,并且最优选地所述恶臭减少材料的总和中的每种恶臭减少材料具有0的芳香保真度指数。
6.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的清新组合物,除了所述恶臭减少材料的总和之外,所述清新组合物还包含一种或多种香料原料,所述一种或多种香料原料与所述恶臭减少材料的总和的比率为1,000,000:1至1:1,优选10,000:1至1:1,更优选2500:1至1:1,最优选5:1至1:1。

b)纤维素胶凝剂,优选地所述纤维素胶凝剂选自诸如乙基纤维素、乙基纤维素的衍生物、甲基纤维素、甲基纤维素的衍生物、以及它们的混合物
c)丙烯酸类树脂,优选地所述丙烯酸类树脂包括丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸的水溶性聚合物。

e)驱昆虫剂,
f)抗微生物剂,优选季铵化合物、醇和异噻唑啉酮衍生物,
g)芳香剂和芳香治疗剂,
h)以及它们的混合物。
13.一种装置,所述装置包含根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的清新组合物,优选地所述装置选自增能空气清新器和非增能空气清新器,更优选地所述装置选自:
a)吸芯空气清新器;
b)贮存器空气清新器;
c)多孔薄膜空气清新器;
d)动力辅助传送空气清新器,优选地动力辅助传送空气清新器选自热敏液滴可调型空气清新器、高压空气清新器、加热器空气清新器、风扇空气清新器或微流体装置空气清新器;和
e)喷涂装置。
14.一种控制恶臭的方法,所述方法包括:使包含恶臭的部位或将变得有恶臭的部位与选自权利要求1至13所述的组合物以及它们的混合物的组合物接触,优选地所述部位为空气。
15.根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中所述接触步骤包括使所述部位与足量的根据权利要求1至13所述的组合物接触,从而为所述部位的恶臭提供0.1纳克(ng)至5000ng,优选1ng至3,500ng,最优选10ng至1500ng的所述总恶臭减少材料/升。
