Abstract
本发明涉及蓄电元件,其具有正极、负极、配置在上述正极与上述负极之间的间隔件、以及使电解质溶解在非水溶剂中而得的非水电解质溶液;其中,在上述正极与上述负极之间配置有无机填充剂层,上述非水电解质溶液含有二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂。

技术领域
本发明涉及具备使电解质溶解在非水溶剂中而得的非水电解质溶液的蓄电元件。
背景技术
近年来,作为高性能化、小型化不断发展的电子机器用电源、蓄电用电源、电力汽车用电源等,已使用以锂离子电池为代表的非水电解质电池、双电层电容器等电容器等可充放电的蓄电元件。
非水电解质电池是隔着进行电隔离的间隔件使负极与正极相对,在使电解质溶解在非水溶剂中而得的非水电解质溶液中,在正极负极之间进行离子的移动,从而进行充放电的电池,上述负极和正极是分别在由金属箔构成的集电体上设置负极活性物质的层和正极活性物质的层而得的。
作为上述非水电解质溶液,已知二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂等含有磷酸锂衍生物等的非水电解质溶液(专利文献1:日本专利第3974012号公报和专利文献2:日本特开2007-335143号公报)。
在这种将二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂添加到非水电解质溶液中的情况下,可提高电池的循环特性,并且使电池的高温储存性优异。因而,添加有上述二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂的非水电解质溶液作为锂离子电池等非水电解质电池的非水电解质溶液的优异的效果受人期待。进而,添加量越多,效果越大。
但是,另一方面,在将二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂添加到电池的非水电解质溶液中的情况下,在初期充电时,二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂被还原分解而产生气体,结果,有可能使电池膨胀。在负极与正极之间产生气体的情况下,在通电流时,在气体所触及到的地方电流集中,电池的寿命降低。因此,存在无法添加足够量的二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂的问题。
在使用含有普通的锂盐的电解质的电池中,作为防止电池的膨胀的方法,例如已知如专利文献3(日本特开2009-199960号公报)和专利文献4(日本特开2009-277597号公报)所述,在间隔件上设置绝缘性的无机氧化物层(以下称为绝缘层)的方法。
这种在间隔件上设置绝缘层的情况下,为了在绝缘层附近抑制电解液中的电解质的分解,考虑到抑制气体的产生。
但是,在专利文献3和4(日本特开2009-199960号公报和日本特开2009-277597号公报)所记载的绝缘层中,即使能够抑制在循环时、放置时产生气体,抑制初期充电时的气体产生的效果也不足。尤其是在将二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂添加到非水电解质溶液中的情况下,难以充分地抑制因初期充电时产生的气体而导致的膨胀。
即,二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂在还原分解时产生气体,因此,在将二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂添加到非水电解质溶液中的情况下,存在在初期充放电后产生气体,有可能导致电池膨胀,因此,无法添加足够的量的问题。
发明内容
鉴于上述以往的问题,本发明的课题在于提供蓄电元件,所述蓄电元件是将二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂添加到非水电解质溶液中而得的非水电解质电池等蓄电元件,所述蓄电元件能够抑制因产生的气体而导致的初期充放电后的膨胀。
本发明的蓄电元件具备正极、负极、配置在上述正极与上述负极之间的间隔件、以及使电解质溶解在非水溶剂中而得的非水电解质溶液;
具备配置在上述正极与上述负极之间的无机填充剂层,
上述非水电解质溶液含有二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂。
作为本发明的一种方式,上述无机填充剂层可以配置于上述间隔件的表面。
作为本发明的其他的一种方式,上述正极和负极具备活性物质层,
上述无机填充剂层可以配置于上述正极和上述负极中至少任一方的活性物质层表面。
作为本发明的另外一种方式,
上述无机填充剂层的空孔率可以为上述间隔件的空孔率以上且为70体积%以下。
需要说明的是,本发明中所谓的无机填充剂层的空孔率是指在将上述无机填充剂层配置于间隔件的情况下,由下式(1)、(2)算出的值。

涂布密度=无机填充剂的涂布质量(g/cm2)÷间隔件的厚度(μm)…(2)
需要说明的是,无机填充剂的涂布质量和真密度在含有粘结剂的情况下为无机填充剂与粘合剂合起来的涂布质量和真密度的值。
另外,本发明中所谓的间隔件的空孔率是指由下式(3)算出的值。
间隔件的空孔率(体积%)=[{体积-(质量÷膜密度)}÷体积]×100…(3)
质量和体积是指恒定尺寸(恒定尺寸是指例如在为片状的间隔件材料的情况下,如100mm×100mm这样能够精确地进行测定的大小。)的间隔件的质量(mg)及其体积(mm3),膜密度是指间隔件的膜密度(g/cm3)。
需要说明的是,本发明所谓的无机填充剂层的空孔率是指在将上述无机填充剂层配置于上述正极和上述负极中至少任一方的情况下由下式(4)算出的值。

作为本发明的其他的一种方式,上述无机填充剂层的厚度可为3μm以上且为上述间隔件的厚度以下。
作为本发明的其他的一种方式,上述无机填充剂层所含的Si元素的SiO2换算质量比率为40%以上。
需要说明的是,本发明中所谓的Si元素的SiO2换算质量比率是指选出无机填充剂层中所含的K、Na、Ca、Ba、Rb、Cs、Al、Mg、Fe、Ti、Mn、Cr、Zn、V、Be、B、Si、Zr、Ce、Y的元素种类,算出各元素的质量,将各元素的质量全部换算成以氧化物K2O、Na2O、CaO、BaO、Rb2O、Cs2O、A12O3、MgO、Fe2O3、TiO2、MnO、Cr2O3、ZnO、V2O5、BeO、B2O3、SiO2、ZrO2、CeO2、Y2O的形式存在时的质量的情况下,无机填充剂层中所含的上述氧化物中的SiO2的质量比率。
作为本发明的其他的一种方式,优选在上述非水电解质溶液中含有上述二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂0.2质量%~1质量%。
具体实施方式
以下,对作为本发明所述的蓄电元件的一种实施方式的电池进行说明。本实施方式所述的电池是非水电解质二次电池,更详细而言,是锂离子二次电池。
(实施方式1)
本实施方式的电池是具备正极、负极、配置在上述正极与上述负极之间的间隔件、以及使电解质溶解在非水溶剂中而得的非水电解质溶液的电池。进而,本实施方式的电池在上述正极与上述负极之间配置有无机填充剂层,上述非水电解质溶液含有二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂,并且,上述无机填充剂层配置在上述间隔件上。
具体而言,本实施方式的电池具备隔着间隔件,使具有负极活性物质层的负极和具有正极活性物质层的正极的各活性物质层彼此相对的电极,该电极与非水电解质溶液一起收纳在壳体内。
作为上述间隔件,可在有机溶剂中使用不溶的织布、无纺布、合成树脂微多孔膜等,其中,优选为合成树脂微多孔膜。
在上述合成树脂微多孔膜中,从厚度、膜强度、膜电阻等方面出发,特别优选使用聚乙烯和聚丙烯制微多孔膜、与芳族聚酰胺或聚酰亚胺复合而得的聚乙烯和聚丙烯制微多孔膜、或者使上述膜复合而得的微多孔膜等聚烯烃系微多孔膜。
上述间隔件的厚度为6μm~40μm,优选为12μm~25μm。
上述间隔件的空孔率优选为30体积%~60体积%。
这是因为,如果在该范围内,则在能够维持强度的同时,充放电特性也良好。
在本实施方式中,上述无机填充剂层配置于上述间隔件的表面。
具体而言,上述间隔件的至少一面侧形成有无机填充剂层。
上述无机填充剂层例如是通过将混合无机填充剂与粘结剂等而得的糊状混合物涂布在上述间隔件的至少一面侧而形成的。
作为无机填充剂的材料,优选具有200℃以上的熔点、电绝缘性高、且在锂离子二次电池的使用范围内电化学性稳定的材料。
作为上述无机填充剂,例如可举出二氧化硅、氧化铝、氧化钛、氧化锆、氧化镁、氧化钇、氧化锌、氧化铁等氧化物系陶瓷,氮化硅、氮化钛、氮化硼等氮化物系陶瓷,碳化硅、碳酸钙、硫酸铝、氢氧化铝、钛酸钾、滑石、陶土、粘土、高岭石、埃洛石、叶蜡石、蒙脱石、绢云母、云母、镁绿泥石、膨润土、石棉、铝硅酸盐、硅酸钙、硅酸镁、硅藻土、硅砂等陶瓷,玻璃纤维等。
这些无机填充剂可以单独使用,或者使用2种以上的混合物。
在上述无机填充剂中,二氧化硅、铝硅酸盐等为以SiO2为主成分的无机物,因此特别优选。
在使用以SiO2为主成分的无机填充剂的情况下,上述SiO2换算质量比率优选为40%以上,进一步优选为50%~80%。
如果无机填充剂中的SiO2换算质量比率在上述范围内,则能够有效地抑制初期的电池膨胀。
需要说明的是,在使用2种以上无机填充剂的情况下,上述无机填充剂中的SiO2换算质量比率是根据各个无机填充剂中的SiO2的质量和其他的各氧化物的质量之和算出的。
作为测定上述无机填充剂层所含的SiO2换算质量比率的方法,可举出使用荧光X射线分析装置、EPMA(电子探针微型分析器)、NMR装置(核磁共振装置)、ICP发光分光分析(高频电感耦合等离子体发光分光分析)等各种元素的定量分析方法。
作为上述无机填充剂的形状,只要为粒状、纤维状等可与上述粘结剂进行混合并涂布在间隔件上的形状,则没有特别限定。
在为粒状的情况下,如果为平均直径约0.1μm~约3.0μm左右的粒子,则从易与粘结剂等混合的性质、易于进行涂布等观点出发而优选。
作为与上述无机填充剂混合的粘结剂,优选为能够使上述无机填充剂粘结于上述间隔件、在电解液中不溶解、且在锂离子二次电池的使用范围内电化学性稳定的粘结剂。
例如,优选为聚偏氟乙烯(PVdF)、聚四氟乙烯等含氟树脂,苯乙烯丁二烯橡胶(SBR),丙烯酸树脂,聚烯烃树脂,聚乙烯醇,或者聚酰胺、聚酰亚胺、聚酰胺酰亚胺等含氮树脂,纤维素与丙烯酰胺的交联聚合物以及纤维素与脱乙酰壳多糖吡咯烷酮羧酸盐的交联聚合物,利用交联剂使作为多糖类高分子聚合物的脱乙酰壳多糖、甲壳质等进行交联而得的物质。
另外,可将粘结剂的混合量适当调整为不使间隔件的透过性、电解液的保持功能等降低并且可使无机填充剂层粘结的优选的量;相对于无机填充剂,优选为1~20质量%左右。
对于在上述间隔件上形成上述无机填充剂层而言,可通过将上述无机填充剂与粘结剂的混合物涂布在间隔件的一面侧,并适当进行干燥而形成。
作为干燥后的涂布厚度,优选为3μm以上且为上述间隔件厚度以下。
如果为上述间隔件的厚度以下,则优选为5μm~12μm,进一步优选为5~10μm左右的厚度。
如果上述无机填充剂层的厚度为3μm以上,则能够有效地抑制初期充电时的膨胀;同时,通过使上述无机填充剂层的厚度为间隔件的厚度以下,从而在制造电池时不会因无机填充剂层而阻碍电解质溶液浸透到正负极板中。
上述无机填充剂层的空孔率为70体积%以下,优选为50体积%~70体积%,进一步优选为60体积%~70体积%的范围。
上述无机填充剂层的空孔率更优选为在上述范围内且为间隔件的空孔率以上。
在上述无机填充剂的空孔率小于上述间隔件的空孔率的情况下,无机填充剂层容易发生堵塞,结果,容易使间隔件的内部电阻变高。
另外,通过使上述无机填充剂的空孔率处在上述范围内,而能够抑制电池重量增加,并抑制电池的能量密度、输出密度降低。
进而,通过使上述无机填充剂的空孔率处在上述范围内,而能够抑制因在无机填充剂层的厚度过厚的情况下产生的、无机填充剂层内的锂离子的扩散阻力的增加而导致的输出功率降低。
在本实施方式中,为了使上述无机填充剂层的空孔率处在上述范围内,例如,可通过调节无机填充剂与粘结剂的混合比率、涂布无机填充剂材料的厚度等而将上述无机填充剂层的空孔率调节为上述范围。
本实施方式的非水电解质是在非水溶剂中溶解下述结构式的二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂而得的溶液。
优选在非水溶剂中以0.2质量%~1质量%的浓度(0.008mol/kg~0.04mol/kg)含有上述二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂。如果在该浓度范围内,则可有效地抑制膨胀。
作为上述非水溶剂,可使用从公知的非水溶剂中适当地选择的非水溶剂。
例如,可举出碳酸亚乙酯、碳酸亚丙酯、碳酸亚丁酯、三氟碳酸亚丙酯、γ-丁内酯、γ-戊内酯、环丁砜、1,2-二甲氧基乙烷、1,2-二乙氧基乙烷、四氢呋喃、2-甲基四氢呋喃、2-甲基-1,3-二氧杂环戊烷、二氧杂环戊烷、氟乙基甲基醚、乙二醇二乙酸酯、丙二醇二乙酸酯、乙二醇二丙酸酯、丙二醇二丙酸酯、乙酸甲酯、乙酸乙酯、乙酸丙酯、乙酸丁酯、丙酸甲酯、丙酸乙酯、丙酸丙酯、碳酸二甲酯、碳酸二乙酯、碳酸甲乙酯、碳酸甲丙酯、碳酸乙丙酯、碳酸二丙酯、异丙基碳酸甲酯、异丙基碳酸乙酯、碳酸二异丙酯、碳酸二丁酯、乙腈、氟乙腈、乙氧基五氟环三磷腈、二乙氧基四氟环三磷腈、苯氧基五氟环三磷腈等烷氧基取代和卤素取代的环状磷腈类或链状磷腈类,磷酸三乙酯、磷酸三甲酯、磷酸三辛酯等磷酸酯类,硼酸三乙酯、硼酸三丁酯等硼酸酯类,N-甲基噁唑烷酮、N-乙基噁唑烷酮等非水溶剂。
作为上述非水溶剂,可以单独使用上述非水溶剂,也可以使用2种以上的混合物。
上述非水电解质溶液中含有1种以上上述公知的电解质盐。
例如,可举出LiClO4、LiBF4、LiAsF6、LiPF6、LiCF3SO3、LiN(SO2CF3)2、LiN(SO2C2F5)2、LiN(SO2CF3)(SO2C4F9)、LiSCN、LiBr、LiI、Li2SO4、Li2B10Cl10、NaClO4、NaI、NaSCN、NaBr、KClO4、KSCN等离子性化合物以及它们的两种以上的混合物等。
进而,在上述非水电解质溶液中,除了上述电解质盐和上述非水溶剂以外,根据需要,还可以在不损害本发明的效果的范围内,以任意的量含有其他的化合物。

这些化合物可以单独使用,也可以使用2种以上的混合物。
作为本实施方式的非水电解质电池(锂离子电池)的上述负极活性物质,只要为能够吸留放出锂离子的负极活性物质,则可适当使用公知的材料。例如,可举出锂金属、锂合金(锂-铝、锂-铅、锂-锡、锂-铝-锡、锂-镓、以及伍德合金等含锂金属的合金),除此以外,还可举出能够吸留·放出锂的合金、碳材料(例如石墨、硬碳、低温煅烧碳、无定形碳等)、金属氧化物、锂金属氧化物(Li4Ti5O12等)、聚磷酸化合物等。
作为上述正极活性物质,如果为能够吸留放出锂离子的正极活性物质,则可适当使用公知的材料。例如,可从LixMOy(M表示至少一种过渡金属)表示的复合氧化物(LixCoO2、LixNiO2、LixMn2O4、LixMnO3、LixNiyCo(1-y)O2、LixNiyMnzCo(1-y-z)O2、LixNiyMn(2-y)O4等)、或者LiwMex(XOy)z(Me表示至少一种过渡金属,X例如为P、Si、B、V)表示的多阴离子化合物(LiFePO4、LiMnPO4、LiNiPO4、LiCoPO4、Li3V2(PO4)3、Li2MnSiO4、Li2CoPO4F等)中进行选择。另外,就这些化合物中的元素或者多阴离子而言,可以部分被其他的元素或者阴离子种类所取代。另外,可以在表面覆盖ZrO2、WO2、MgO、A12O3等金属氧化物或碳等导电性材料。而且,可举出二硫化物、聚吡咯、聚苯胺、聚对苯乙烯、聚乙炔、聚并苯系材料等导电性高分子化合物、拟石墨结构碳质材料等,但并不限于此。另外,这些化合物可以单独使用,或者使用2种以上的混合物。
将上述正极活性物质、负极活性物质分别与粘结剂等混合,并涂布在上述集电体表面,然后进行挤压、干燥,从而可形成正极和负极。
作为上述集电体,可使用铜、镍、铁、不锈钢、钛、铝、煅烧碳、导电性高分子、导电性玻璃、Al-Cd合金等。进而,从粘接性、导电性、耐还原性的目的出发,由这些材质构成的集电体表面可以利用由交联剂使作为多糖类高分子聚合物的脱乙酰壳多糖、甲壳素等交联而得的物质、碳、镍、钛、银等进行处理。
(实施方式2)
本实施方式的电池具有正极、负极、配置在上述正极与上述负极之间的间隔件、以及使电解质溶解在非水溶剂中而得的非水电解质溶液;其中,无机填充剂层配置在上述正极与上述负极之间,上述非水电解质溶液含有二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂。并且,上述无机填充剂层配置在具有活性物质层的上述正极和上述负极中至少任一个的上述活性物质层表面上。
需要说明的是,在本实施方式2中,对于与上述实施方式1相同的方面,不再进行重复说明。
作为在上述活性物质层上形成上述无机填充剂层的方法,例如,如上述实施方式1中所述,可以在分别将上述正极活性物质层用材料或负极活性物质层用材料涂布在集电体的表面后,立即涂布上述无机填充剂层与上述粘结剂的混合物,然后,进行干燥,对整体进行挤压,从而形成上述无机填充剂层。
或者,分别将上述正极活性物质层用材料或负极活性物质层用材料涂布在集电体的表面,在使其干燥后、进行挤压前,涂布上述无机填充剂层与上述粘结剂的混合物,然后对整体进行挤压。
或者,分别将上述正极活性物质层用材料或负极活性物质用层材料涂布在集电体的表面,在使其干燥并进行挤压后,涂布上述无机填充剂层与上述粘结剂的混合物,从而在上述活性物质层的表面形成上述无机填充剂层。
在本实施方式2中,在将上述无机填充剂层配置于上述正极和上述负极中至少任一个的情况下,上述无机填充剂层的空孔率优选为70体积%以下,更优选为50体积%~70体积%,进一步优选为60体积%~70体积%。
上述无机填充剂层的空孔率进一步优选为在上述范围内且为上述间隔件的空孔率以上。
在上述无机填充剂层的空孔率小于上述间隔件的空孔率的情况下,例如在以与上述间隔件相对置的方式在上述正极和上述负极中至少任一个的活性物质层表面形成上述无机填充剂层的情况下,在上述无机填充剂层与上述间隔件之间容易产生堵塞,结果,间隔件的内部电阻变高。
另外,通过使上述无机填充剂层的空孔率处在上述范围内,能够抑制电池重量增加,且抑制电池的能量密度、输出密度降低。
进而,通过使上述无机填充剂层的空孔率处在上述范围内,能够抑制因在无机填充剂层的厚度过厚的情况下产生的、无机填充剂层内的锂离子的扩散阻力的增加而导致的输出功率降低。
需要说明的是,无机填充剂层的空孔率是指在将上述无机填充剂层配置于上述正极和上述负极中至少任一个的活性物质层的表面的情况下,由下式(4)算出的值。

在本实施方式中,上述无机填充剂层的干燥后的厚度优选为3μm以上且为上述间隔件的厚度以下。
如果为上述间隔件的厚度以下,则优选为5μm~12μm,更优选为5~10μm左右的厚度。
上述无机填充剂层可以形成于上述正极、上述负极中任一方,也可以形成于两方。
但是,从蓄电元件的能量密度、输出密度的观点出发,优选仅形成于上述正极、上述负极中任一方。
利用如上所述的实施方式,能够在将二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂添加到非水电解质溶液中而得的蓄电元件中抑制因产生的气体而导致的初期充放电后的蓄电元件的膨胀。
具体而言,上述各实施方式的蓄电元件是具有正极、负极、配置在上述正极与上述负极之间的间隔件、以及使电解质溶解在非水溶剂中而得的非水电解质溶液的蓄电元件,其中,无机填充剂层配置在上述正极与上述负极之间,上述非水电解质溶液含有二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂,因此,即使在初次充电时二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂发生还原分解,也能利用上述无机填充剂抑制气体的产生,并能够抑制电池的膨胀。
本实施方式所述的蓄电元件为如上所述的蓄电元件,但是应认为本次所公开的实施方式在全部方面均为例示,且并不限于此。本发明的范围并不是上述的说明,而是指由专利申请的范围示出的、且包括与专利申请的范围相同的意思和范围内的全部的变形。
实施例
接下来,列举实施例对本发明进行详细说明,但本发明并不限于此。
《试验1》
作为试验1,对将无机填充剂层配置在间隔件上的电池进行如下所述的试验。
[实施例1]
(间隔件的制作)
通过双轴拉伸将重均分子量30万的聚丙烯制树脂片(厚12μm)制作成间隔件。
(无机填充剂层的制作)
进而,通过在上述间隔件的一面涂布含有铝硅酸盐作为无机填充剂的溶液而制作无机填充剂层。
铝硅酸盐按照如下方式进行制备,即,将硅酸钠、铝酸钠以摩尔比到1∶1溶解在纯水中进行混合,在80℃下对该混合物进行加热后,用纯水对该混合物进行清洗直到达到pH9为止,然后用纯水对经洗涤的混合物进行干燥。
铝硅酸盐溶液是通过分别将上述铝硅酸盐与聚乙烯醇(平均聚合度1700、皂化度99%以上)均匀地分散在水中而制得的;使用凹版涂布机将该无机填充剂水溶液涂布在上述间隔件的表面,在60℃下进行干燥而除去水,从而制作形成有无机填充剂层的间隔件。
需要说明的是,就无机填充剂层的厚度而言,在间隔件上形成无机填充剂层后,减去所述间隔件的厚度,从而测定无机填充剂层的厚度。结果,厚度为5μm。
(间隔件和无机填充剂层的空孔率的测定)
从涂布上述无机填充剂层之前的间隔件中取样10cm见方的样品,使用上述(3),由样品的体积和质量算出空孔率。结果,所制作的间隔件的空孔率为34.7%。
进而,从涂布了无机填充剂层的间隔件中取样10cm见方的样品,使用上述式(1)和式(2),由样品的质量和厚度算出无机填充剂层的空孔率。无机填充剂层的空孔率为64.7%。
(无机填充剂层SiO2换算质量比率的测定)
使用岛津制作所(株)制、荧光X射线分析装置XRF-1800,测定在无机填充剂层表面出现的元素种类。
在所测定的元素种类中,选出K、Na、Ca、Ba、Rb、Cs、Al、Mg、Fe、Ti、Mn、Cr、Zn、V、Be、B、Si、Zr、Ce、Y的元素种类,将它们全部换算成如下所示的氧化物K2O、Na2O、CaO、BaO、Rb2O、Cs2O、Al2O3、MgO、Fe2O3、TiO2、MnO、Cr2O3、ZnO、V2O5、BeO、B2O3、SiO2、ZrO2、CeO2、Y2O,算出SiO2换算质量比率,结果含量为54%。
(非水电解质溶液的制作)
准备非水电解质溶液。
作为上述非水电解质溶液,将LiPF6调整为1mol/l、使用将以30∶35∶35(体积%)的比例混合碳酸亚乙酯、碳酸二甲酯与碳酸甲乙酯而得的物质作为溶剂,以1质量%的浓度在其中溶解二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂。
(电池的制作)
作为负极,使用如下方法进行制作的负极,即,在作为集电板的10μm厚的铜箔的一面侧涂布负极活性物质层材料的混合物以达到115μm的厚度,然后,使用辊式压制机将厚度挤压成105μm,然后,在150℃下干燥12小时,从而制作负极活性物质层,其中,所述负极活性物质层材料的混合物含有作为负极活性物质的无定形碳92质量%、以及作为粘结剂的PVdF8质量%。
作为正极,使用如下方法进行制作的正极,即,在作为集电板的20μm厚的铝箔的一面侧涂布正极活性物质层材料的混合物以达到100μm的厚度,然后,使用辊式压制机将厚度挤压成90μm,然后,在150℃下干燥12小时,制作正极活性物质层,其中,所述正极活性物质层材料的混合物含有作为正极活性物质的LiNi1/3Mn1/3Co1/3O290质量%、作为粘结剂的PVdF5质量%和作为导电助剂的乙炔黑5质量%。
上述这样的正极活性物质层的空孔率和负极活性物质层的空孔率通过以下所述的式(8)~(9)算出,结果,正极活性物质层的空孔率为35体积%,负极活性物质层的空孔率为38体积%。
(活性物质层的空孔率的测定)
活性物质层的空孔率(体积%)=[1-{W÷(d×ρ)}]×100…(8)

ρ:活性物质层的平均密度(g/cm3)

将隔着上述间隔件层叠上述负极和正极而得的电极体收纳在壳体内,注入电解液。
此外,以使上述无机填充剂层与正极侧相对置的方式来层叠上述负极、正极和间隔件。
然后,以0.2CA的电流进行1小时的充电且密封注液口,从而制作400mAh级的方形电池。
[比较例1]
未在间隔件上形成无机填充剂层,除此以外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,制作400mAh级的方形电池。
[实施例2~4、实施例28~30、比较例2~4]
如表1所示,改变无机填充剂层的空孔率,除此以外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,制作400mAh级的方形电池。
[实施例5]
使用二氧化硅作为无机填充剂,除此以外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,制作400mAh级的方形电池。
[实施例6]
使用氧化铝作为无机填充剂,除此以外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,制作400mAh级的方形电池。
[实施例7~9]
如表1所示,改变铝硅酸盐所含的SiO2换算质量比率的比例,除此以外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,制作400mAh级的方形电池。
[实施例10~12]
以表1示出的比例(质量比)混合使用在实施例1中使用的铝硅酸盐和氧化铝,除此以外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,制作400mAh级的方形电池。
[实施例13~22]
如表1所示,改变无机填充剂层的厚度,除此以外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,制作400mAh级的方形电池。
[实施例23~27]
如表1所示,改变二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂的添加量,除此以外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,制作400mAh级的方形电池。
[比较例2~5]
如表1所示,改变二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂的添加量,除此以外,进行与比较例1相同的操作,制作400mAh级的方形电池。
[比较例6]
添加表1示出的量的双草酸根合硼酸锂(LiB(Ox)2)来代替二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂,除此以外,进行与比较例1相同的操作,制作400mAh级的方形电池。
[比较例7]
添加表1示出的量的双草酸根合硼酸锂(LiB(Ox)2)来代替二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂,除此以外,进行与实施例24相同的操作,制作400mAh级的方形电池。
[比较例8]
添加表1示出的量的双草酸根合硼酸锂(LiB(Ox)2)来代替二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂,除此以外,进行与实施例22相同的操作,制作400mAh级的方形电池。
在实施例2~27、比较例1~8的各方形电池中使用的无机填充剂的材质、厚度、空孔率和SiO2换算质量比率、以及二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂的添加量示于表1。
(电池膨胀的测定)
以1CA的恒定电流对实施例1~30和比较例1~8充电至4.2V后,以4.2V进行恒定电压充电至总充电时间达到3小时,然后,以1CA的恒定电流放电至2.4V。
将此时的放电容量作为循环前的放电容量。另外,测定充放电前后的电池中央部的厚度,算出电池膨胀。
需要说明的是,1CA是指使充满电时的电池放电1小时的时刻的电流值。
(循环后的容量保持率)
将如下循环试验5000次:在55℃的恒温槽中,以2CA的恒定电流使各实施例1、23、24、比较例1、2、3充电至相当于SOC80%的电压,然后,以2CA的恒定电流放电至相当于SOC20%的电压。
循环试验后,在室温下以1CA的恒定电流充电至4.2V,然后,以4.2V进行恒定电压充电至总充电时间达到3小时,然后,以1CA的恒定电流放电至2.4V。将此时的放电容量作为循环后的放电容量。
通过用循环后的放电容量除以循环前的放电容量,从而算出循环后的容量保持率。
电池膨胀和循环后的容量保持率如表1所示。
若对实施例1~30与比较例1进行比较,则使用含有二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂的非水电解质溶液且采用具备无机填充剂层的间隔件的电池的电池膨胀减轻。
另外,根据实施例1~27,使无机填充剂层的空孔率达到间隔件的空孔率以上且为70体积%以下的电池的抑制电池膨胀的效果特别高。
另外,含有铝硅酸盐或者二氧化硅作为无机填充剂的各实施例的抑制电池膨胀的效果高,其中,SiO2换算质量比率为40%以上的各实施例的抑制电池膨胀的效果特别高。
进而,无机填充剂层的厚度为3μm以上且为间隔件的厚度以下的实施例1~12、14~18、23~30的电池膨胀特别小。
另外,如比较例2和3所示,即使是非水电解质溶液所含的二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂为1.0质量%以下的电池,也会产生电池膨胀。另一方面,使用具备无机填充剂层的间隔件的实施例的各电池在全部的二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂浓度下均减轻电池膨胀。
进而,即使在非水电解质溶液所含的二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂含有1.0质量%以上的情况下,也可通过使用具备无机填充剂层的间隔件来抑制膨胀(实施例26、27、比较例4、5)。
需要说明的是,在非水电解质溶液中不含有二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂的比较例6~8中,电池未发生膨胀。
进而,如实施例1、23、24所示,在非水电解质溶液中添加二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂且使用具备无机填充剂层的间隔件的电池的循环后的容量保持率提高。
另外,伴随着二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂的添加量的增加的、循环后的容量保持率提高的程度在使用具备无机填充剂层的间隔件的电池中更加显著。
由这些结果可知,各实施例的电池的电池膨胀小且具备优异的循环性能。
《试验2》
作为试验2,对在正极活性物质层上或负极活性物质层上形成有无机填充剂层的电池进行如下所述的试验。
[实施例31]
使上述实施例1的无机填充剂层形成在正极活性物质层上而不是形成在间隔件上,除此以外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,制作400mAh级的方形电池。
使上述无机填充剂层形成于正极活性物质层上的方法如下所述。
使用凹版涂布机将与实施例1相同的上述无机填充剂水溶液涂布在与实施例1相同地形成的正极活性物质层表面,在150℃下进行干燥而除去水,从而制作形成有无机填充剂层的正极活性物质层。
需要说明的是,就无机填充剂层的厚度而言,是通过从无机填充剂层和正极的厚度中扣除活性物质层和铝箔的厚度而对无机填充剂层的厚度进行测定的。结果,厚度为5μm。
[实施例32~42]
与上述实施例31相同地在正极活性物质层上形成无机填充剂层,除此以外,分别进行与实施例2~12相同的操作,制作400mAh级的方形电池。
[实施例43~45]
与上述实施例31相同地在正极活性物质层上形成无机填充剂层,除此以外,分别进行与实施例28~30相同的操作,制作400mAh级的方形电池。
[实施例46~60]
在负极活性物质层上而不是在正极活性物质层上形成上述实施例31的无机填充剂层,除此以外,进行与实施例31~45相同的操作,制作400mAh级的方形电池。
在负极活性物质层上形成上述无机填充剂层的方法如下所述。
使用凹版涂布机将与实施例1相同的上述无机填充剂水溶液涂布在与实施例1相同地形成的负极活性物质层表面,在150℃下进行干燥而除去水,从而制作形成有无机填充剂层的负极活性物质层。
需要说明的是,就无机填充剂层的厚度而言,是通过从无机填充剂层和负极的厚度中扣除负极活性物质层和铜箔的厚度而对无机填充剂层的厚度进行测定的。测定的厚度示于表2。
对于如上所述而制作的实施例31~60,无机填充剂层的材质、厚度、空孔率和SiO2换算质量比率、以及二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂的添加量示于表2。
另外,对于实施例31~60,与上述实施例1~30、比较例1~8相同地测定电池膨胀;对于实施例31、46,与上述实施例1、23,24、比较例1、2、3相同地测定循环后的容量保持率。结果如表2所示。
需要说明的是,为了比较而将上述比较例1记载在表2中。
如表2所示,即使在正极活性物质层上或者在负极活性物质层上形成无机填充剂层的情况下,也与在间隔件上形成上述无机填充剂层的情况相同,使用含有二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂的非水电解质溶液的电池的电池膨胀减轻。
另外,无机填充剂层的空孔率为间隔件的空孔率以上且为70体积%以下的电池的抑制电池膨胀的效果特别高。
进而,含有铝硅酸盐或二氧化硅作为无机填充剂的电池的抑制电池膨胀的效果高,其中,SiO2换算质量比率为40%以上的各实施例的电池的抑制电池膨胀的效果特别高。
另外,无机填充剂层的厚度为3μm以上且为间隔件的厚度以下的电池的电池膨胀特别小。
进而,在非水电解质溶液中添加有二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂的电池中,正极活性物质层上或负极活性物质层上形成有无机填充剂层的电池与不存在无机填充剂层的比较例1的电池相比,循环后的容量保持率提高。
由这些结果可知,即使在正极活性物质层上或者在负极活性物质层上形成无机填充剂层的情况下,各实施例的电池的电池膨胀也较小且具备优异的循环性能。
Claims (4)
1.一种蓄电元件,其为具备正极、负极、配置在所述正极与所述负极之间的间隔件、以及使电解质溶解在非水溶剂中而得的非水电解质溶液的蓄电元件,
该元件具备配置在所述正极与所述负极之间的无机填充剂层,
所述非水电解质溶液含有二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂,
所述正极和负极具备活性物质层,
所述无机填充剂层配置于所述间隔件的表面或所述负极的活性物质层表面,
其中,所述无机填充剂层所含的Si元素的SiO2换算质量比率为40%以上。
2.根据权利要求1所述的蓄电元件,其中,所述无机填充剂层的空孔率为所述间隔件的空孔率以上且为70体积%以下。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的蓄电元件,其中,所述无机填充剂层的厚度为3μm以上且为所述间隔件的厚度以下。
4.根据权利要求1或2所述的蓄电元件,其中,在所述非水电解质溶液中含有0.2质量%~1质量%的所述二氟双(草酸根)合磷酸锂。
