Description
Die Erfindung betrifft 3-Cycloalkyl-sulfonyl-pyrrolidin-2,5-30 -dion-Derivate, Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung und die obigen Derivate enthaltenden fungiziden Mittel.
Die neuen Derivate sind durch die Formel

R für Wasserstoff, für Alkyl mit 1-6 Kohlenstoffatomen, für gegebenenfalls durch ein oder mehrere Alkyl mit 1-4 Kohlenstoffatomen, Nitro, Hydroxy, Hydroxymethyl, Carboxyl, so Sulfo-, Sulfonylamino, Halogen, Alkoxy mit 1-4 Kohlenstoffatomen, Acyloxy mit 1-4 Kohlenstoffatomen, Alkoxycarbonyl mit 2-5 Kohlenstoffatomen, Acyl mit 1-4 Kohlenstoffatomen, oder N-(C2-5-Alkoxycarbonyl)-sulfonylamino substituiertes Phenyl oder für Phenyl-(Ci.4-AlkyI).
55 Die neuen 3-Cycloalkyl-sulfonyl-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion-Deri-vate weisen starke fungizide Eigenschaften auf und sind zur Bekämpfung in der Human-Veterinär- und Phytopathologie vorkommenden pilzlichen Krankheiten geeignet.
Es ist bereits bekannt geworden, dass N-(3,5-Dihalogen-60 phenyl)-3,4-(di)substituierte-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion-Derivate anti-mikrobielle Wirkung aufweisen (Südafrikanische Patentschrift Nr. 701 624).
Verbindungen ähnlicher Struktur, aber N-(2,6-disubsti-tuierte-Phenyl)-3-substituierte-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion-Derivate wer-65 den auch in DE-Offenlegungsschrift Nr. 2 143 601 beschrieben. Die Verbindungen zeigen eine antimikrobielle Wirkung. Die N-Aryl-maleinimide und Phenylsulfonsäure werden in einer Additionsreaktion umgesetzt (Bull, of the Chem. Soc. of

Japan 48 (12), 3675-3677 [1975]). In dem Artikel wird nur die Reaktion und nicht die Verwendbarkeit der Verbindungen beschrieben.
Die Mikroben werden nach einer Zeit gegenüber den eingesetzten Wirkstoffen resistent und es werden immer neue antimi-krobielle Wirkstoffe gesucht. Es wurde nun gefunden, dass die neuen 3-Cycloalkyl-sulfonyl-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion-Derivate der allgemeinen Formel I antimikrobielle, vor allem fungizide Wirkung aufweisen und zwar auch gegen solche Mikroorganismus--Stämme die gegenüber den üblichen fungiziden Wirkstoffen schon resistent wurden.
Weiterhin wurde gefunden, dass man die neuen 3-Cyclo-alkyl-sulfonyl-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion-Derivate der Formel I

mit einem wasserbindenden Mittel behandelt.
Die Umsetzung des Pyrrolin-2,5-dions der allgemeinen Formel II und des Cycloalkyl-thiols der allgemeinen Formel III nach Verfahrens variante ai) kann gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart eines organischen Lösungsmittels und/oder eines basischen Katalysators durchgeführt werden. Als Lösungsmittel kommen zum Beispiel aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, z.B. Benzol, Äther, z.B. Dioxan, Alkanole, z.B. Äthanol in Frage.
Als basische Katalysatoren können organische oder anorganische Basen eingesetzt werden. Als Beispiele für die obigen Basen werden Triäthylamin oder Triäthylen erwähnt. Die Reagenzien der allgemeinen Formel I oder II werden bevorzugt in äquimolaren Mengen verwendet, aber in bestimmten Fällen kann die Verwendung eines Überschusses einer der Reagenzien vorteilhaft sein. Das während der Reaktion erhaltene 3-Cyclo-alkylthio-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion-Derivat der allgemeinen Formel IV kann durch Einengen des Reaktionsgemisches isoliert werden. Das Einengen kann bei Normaldruck oder bei vermindertem Druck durchgeführt werden.
3-Cycloalkylthio-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion-Derivate der allgemeinen Formel IV können bevorzugt so oxydiert werden, indem man die Verbindung in einem inerten Lösungsmittel, z.B. in Wasser, in einem niederen Keton, z.B. Aceton, in einer niederen Alkancarbonsäure, Alkancarbonsäureanhydrid oder in einem Gemisch der obigen Lösungsmittel zum Beispiel in einem Gemisch von Essigsäure und Essigsäureanhydrid löst oder suspendiert und vorzugsweise mit einem Oxydierungsmittel, vorzugsweise mit Wasserstoffperoxyd oder Kaliumpermanganat bei 0-50°C oxydiert. Das Oxydierungsmittel wird bevorzugt in einem Überschuss eingesetzt.
Die Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formeln II und V werden nach Verfahrensvariante b) bevorzugt so umgesetzt, dass man zuerst die Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel II in einem Gemisch von Wasser und einem niederen Alkanol löst oder suspendiert und diesem Gemisch unter Rühren bevorzugt bei 0-25 °C die Cycloalkyl-sulfinsäure der allgemeinen Formel V zu5

führt. Die Reaktion läuft unter den gegebenen Bedingungen binnen einigen Stunden ab, und das Produkt der allgemeinen Formel I scheidet sich aus dem Gemisch aus.
Halogen-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion der allgemeinen Formel VI und Alkalimetall-sulfinat der allgemeinen Formel VII werden bevorzugt in einem inerten, polaren, aprotischen Lösungsmittel umgesetzt. Als Lösungsmittel kann zum Beispiel Dimethylform-amid in Frage kommen. Die Reaktion spielt sich bei Verwendung von äquimolaren Mengen der Reagenzien bei einer Reaktionstemperatur von 15-35°C binnen 30-120 Minuten ab.
Dehydratierung der Cycloalkyl-sulfonyl-bernsteinsäure--semiamide der allgemeinen Formel VIII kann bevorzugt in einem Überschuss eines wasserbindenden Mittels ausgeführt werden. Als wasserbindende Mittel können bevorzugt Phos-phorpentoxyd, Phosphortrichlorid, Acetylchlorid, oder Essigsäureanhydrid eingesetzt werden. Die Reaktion wird vorzugsweise in einem inerten organischen Lösungsmittel durchgeführt. Es ist besonders vorteilhaft als Lösungsmittel und als wasserbindendes Mittel den selben Stoff z.B. Essigsäureanhydrid zu verwenden. Die Reaktion kann durch Erhitzen des Reaktionsgemisches beschleunigt werden. Man arbeitet im allgemeinen bei 20-140°C, bevorzugt bei 90-95°C.
Die Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel I, die während der Reaktion gebildet werden, scheiden sich aus dem Reaktionsgemisch aus, oder können durch Filtrieren, Zentrifugieren getrennt werden oder bleiben in Lösung. In diesem letzten Fall wird das Reaktionsgemisch üblicherweise so verarbeitet, dass die eventuell vorliegenden Nebenprodukte durch Filtrieren getrennt werden und das Reaktionsgemisch zum Beispiel auf Eis gegossen und das ausgeschiedene Produkt isoliert wird. Nach einer anderen Methode werden die flüchtigen Komponenten und das Lösungsmittel aus dem Reaktionsgemisch durch Destillierung entfernt und der Rückstand wird zum Beispiel durch Umkristallisieren gereinigt. Die Endprodukte können selbstverständlich auch durch andere, in der organisch-chemischen Praxis üblichen Methoden isoliert und gereinigt werden.
In der Beschreibung versteht man unter niederem Alkyl, Alkoxy, Alkanoyl, Alkancarbonsäure und Alkancarbonsäure--anhydrid eine Alkylgruppe mit 1-4 Kohlenstoffatomen enthaltende Gruppe.
Die in dem erfindungsgemässen Verfahren verwendeten Ausgangsstoffe der allgemeinen Formeln II, V, VII, VI und VIII sind bekannt oder können durch literaturbekannte Methoden hergestellt werden. Die 3-Pyrrolin-2,5-dione der Formel II können durch die Umsetzung von Maleinsäureanhydrid mit dem entsprechenden Amin und durch Behandlung der erhaltenen 4-substituierten Amino-4-oxo-butensäure mit einem wasserbindenden Mittel hergestellt werden (Wiss. Z. Univ. Halle XXV' 76M, 4, 5 [1976] und J. Org. Chem., 26, 2037 [1961]). Die Sulfonsäuren der allgemeinen Formel V und ihre Salze der allgemeinen Formel VII können durch literaturbekannte Methoden (J. Amer. Chem. Soc., 61, 3089 [1939], Org. Synth.
Coll. Vol. I, 492 [1943], J. Org. Chem., 17, 1529 [1952] und die hier zitierten Literaturstellen), hergestellt werden. Die 1-substituierten 3-Halogen-pyrrolidin-2,5-dione der allgemeinen Formel VI können nach den literaturbekannten Methoden: (Zs. Obscs. Him., 26, 208 [1956], J. Org. Chem., 28, 1713 [1963] und Südafrikanische Patentschrift Nr. 70.01624) erhalten werden.
Die Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel VIII können aus den 4-substituierten Amino-4-oxo-butensäuren und Cycloalkyl-thiolen, deren Herstellung oben angegeben wurde nach Verfahrensvariante ai) durch eine Additionsreaktion und durch Oxydierung des Produktes nach Verfahrensvariante a2) hergestellt werden.
Die einzelnen Ausgangsstoffe sind handelsübliche Produkte.
Die fungizide Wirkung der neuen Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel I wurde forlgenderweise untersucht:
Sabouraud Nährboden wurde mit 105/ml Keimzahl inokuliert und die Sprosspilze wurden nach 24, 48, 72, 144 bzw. 288 Stunden Inkubationszeit geprüft und die minimale Hemmungskonzentrationen wurden bestimmt. Die erhaltenen Ergebnisse sind in den Tabellen I und II zusammengefasst.

Bei intraperitonealer Verabreichung ist der LD50-Wert des N-Phenyl-3-cyclohexyl-sulfonyl-pyrrolidin-2,5-dions bei weiblichen Mäusen: 382 mg/kg männlichen Mäusen: 461 mg/kg.
Die Verbindungen zeigten per os keine toxischen Eigenschaften.

Die angegebenen minimalen Hemmungskonzentrationen hemmten vollkommen das Wachstum der Mikroorganismen. Als Nährboden wurde Sabourod-Nährboden angegeben.
l-(p-Tolyl)-3-cyclohexyl-sulfonyl-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion und l-Phenyl-cyclohexyl-sulfonyl-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion weisten eine Wirkung auch gegen die folgenden phytopathogenen Pilzarten: Botrytis cinerea, Ascochyta pisi, Carcospora beticola, Taphrina deformans, Phytophtora infestans, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Verticillium alsoatrum, Verticillium dahliae und Venturia.
Die neuen 3-Cycloalkyl-sulfonyl-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion-Deri-vate der allgemeinen Formel I können infolge ihrer starken fun-giziden Wirkung als Wirkstoffe von fungiziden Mitteln verwendet werden. Ein oder mehrere Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel I werden mit den üblichen Streckmitteln, Verdünnungsmitteln, Stabilisierungsmitteln und/oder aromatisierenden Mitteln und/oder Formulierungshilfsstoffen formuliert. Es können feste, flüssige, und halbflüssige Präparate hergestellt werden. Als feste Präparate werden Tabletten, Kapseln, Dragées, Pulver und Pillen erwähnt. Die Tabletten können gegebenenfalls geteilt werden.
Der Überzug der Dragées und die Kapseln können entsprechend dem Wirkstoffgehalt gegebenenfalls mit einem Farbencode versehen werden.
Die flüssigen Präparate können in der Form von Flüssigkeiten für Pinselung, Umschlag, Spritzbrühen, Beizmitteln, Infektionspräparaten bzw. Aerosol-Präparaten vorhegen. Als halbflüssige Präparate können Salben, Pasten oder Crème hergestellt werden.
Die erfindungsgemässen Fungizide enthalten als Hauptwirk-25 stoff 1-80% einer Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel I oder eines Salzes derselben — worin R und A wie oben angegeben sind — und 0-20% Kieselsäure, 0-10% eines oberflächenaktiven Mittels, 1-20% mineralen Füllstoff, 0-5% Schleimstoff, 0-10% Schutzkolloid; 0-80% Stärke, 0-50% Glycerin; 0-15% Wasser, 30 0-99% inertes, atoxisches organisches Lösungsmittel, und 0-60% Aerosoltreibgas.
In den nachstehenden Beispielen werden die Herstellung der Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel I und die Herstellung der die Verbindungen der Formel I enthaltenden fungiziden Mittel 35 ausführlicher illustriert, ohne den Schutzumfang der Erfindung zu beschränken.
Beispiel 1
3-Cyclohexyl-sulfonyl-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion

In einem Gemisch von 15 ml Eisessig und 15 ml Essigsäureanhydrid werden 3,19 g (0,015 Mol) 3-Cyclohexylthio-pyrroli-din-2,5-dion suspendiert. Zur Suspension werden unter Rühren und Kühlen mit Eis-Wasser 7,2 ml (0,075 Mol) einer 30%igen 45 Wasserstoffperoxyd-Lösung getropft und das System wird bis zu vollkommener Auflösung bei Raumtemperatur gerührt. Die Lösung wird dann auf 0-5 °C gekühlt und bei dieser Temperatur 5 Stunden gerührt. Das Gemisch wird über Nacht stehen gelassen und auf Brucheis gegossen. Der ausgeschiedene Stoff wird so filtriert und die Säure wird durch Waschen mit Wasser entfernt. Man erhält 2,6 g (71,0%) des Titelproduktes. Schmp.: 159-160°C. Nach Umkristallisieren aus Wasser schmilzt das Produkt bei 160-162°C.
Minimale Hemmungskonzentration der Verbindung bei Tri-55 chophyton mentagrophytes: 50 /üg/ml, bei Epidermophyton floccosum: 25 /xg/ml.
Beispiel 2
l-Phenyl-3-cyclohexyl-sulfonyl-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion

In einem Gemisch von 10 ml Eisessig und 10 ml Essigsäureanhydrid werden 2,89 g (0,01 Mol) l-Phenyl-3-cyclohexylthio--pyrrolidin-2,5-dion suspendiert. Eine 30%ige Lösung von 4,8 ml (0,05 Mol) Wasserstoffperoxyd wird unter Rühren und 65 Kühlen mit Eis-Wasser zur Suspension getropft. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird durch äussere Kühlung bis zur vollkommenen Auflösung bei Raumtemperatur gehalten und unter Kühlen mit Eis-Wasser 5 Stunden gerührt. Nach eintägigem Stehen wird

des ausgeschiedene Produkt filtriert und die Säure wird durch Waschen mit Wasser entfernt. Man erhält 3,18 g (99%) des Titelproduktes. Schmp.: 149-151°C.
Beispiel 3
l-Phenyl-3-cyclohexyl-sulfonyl-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion
Eine Lösung von 0,296 g (0,002 Mol) der Cyclohexyl-sulfin-säure in 100 ml Wasser wird bei 15°C unter Rühren zu einer Lösung von 0,346 g (0,002 Mol) l-Phenyl-pyrrolin-2,5-dion in 100 ml Äthanol gegeben. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird dann bei 15°C 10 Stunden gerührt. Das ausgeschiedene Produkt wird filtriert und mit Wasser gewaschen. Man erhält 0,475 g (74%) der Titelverbindung. Schmp.: 149-151°C.
Beispiel 4
l-Phenyl-3-cyclohexyl-sulfonyl-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion
Zu einer Lösung von 2,54 g (0,01 Mol) l-Phenyl-3-brom--pyrrolidin-2,5-dion in 50 ml Dimethylformamid wird bei 30°C eine Lösung von 1,7 g (0,01 Mol) Natrium-cyclohexyl-sulfinat unter Rühren gegeben. Das Gemisch wird noch 2 Stunden bei dieser Temperatur gerührt und das Reaktionsgemisch mit Wasser auf das zehnfache Volumen verdünnt und die ausgeschiedene Titelverbindung wird filtriert. Nach Waschen und Trocknen erhält man 2,63 g (82%) Titelverbindung. Schmp.: 148-151°C.
Beispiel 5
l-Phenyl-3-cyclohexyl-sulfonyl-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion
3,39 g (0,01 Mol) 2-Cyclohexyl-sulfonyl-4-phenylamino-4--oxo-butansäure werden in einem Gemisch von 20 ml Essigsäureanhydrid und 0,82 g (0,01 Mol) wasserfreiem Natriumacetat gelöst und die Lösung, wird eine Stunde bei 100°C erhitzt. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird dann auf Brucheis gegossen und die ausgeschiedene Titelverbindung wird filtriert und die Säure durch Waschen mit Wasser entfernt. Man erhält 2,76 g (86%) Titelverbindung. Schmp.: 149-151°C. Nach Umkristallisieren aus Methanol schmilzt das Produkt bei 150-152° C.
Minimale Hemmungskonzentration bei Trichophyton mentagrophytes: 2,5 /tg/ml, bei Epidermophyton floccosum: 1,0 ng/ml.
Beispiel 6
l-(p-Tolyl)-3-cyclohexyl-sulfonyl-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion
4,54 g (0,015 Mol) l-(p-Tolyl)-3-cyclohexylthio-pyrrolidin--2,5-dion werden in einem Gemisch von 15 ml Eisessig und 15 ml Essigsäureanhydrid suspendiert und unter Rühren und Kühlen mit Eis-Wasser wird eine 30%ige Lösung von 7,2 ml (0,075 Mol) Wasserstoffperoxyd zugetropft. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird bis zum ganzen Auflösen bei Raumtemperatur gehalten und mit Eis-Wasser bei 0-5°C gekühlt und bei dieser Temperatur 5 Stunden gerührt. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird über Nacht stehen gelassen. Das ausgeschiedene Produkt wird filtriert und mit Wasser säurefrei gewaschen. Man erhält 4,84 g (97%) der Titelverbindung. Schmp.: 166-168°C. Nach Umkristallisieren aus Methanol Schmp.: 170-171 °C.
Minimale Hemmungskonzentration bei Trychophyton mentagrophytes: 2,5 ng/ml, Epidermophyton floccosum:
5,0 /ig/ml.
Beispiel 7
l-(3-Acetoxy-4-methoxycarbonyl-phenyl)-3-cyclohexyl-sulfonyl--pyrrolidin-2,5-dion
4,05 g (0,01 Mol) l-(3-Acetoxy-4-methoxycarbonyl-phenyl)-
-3-cyclohexylthio-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion werden in einem Gemisch von 10 ml Eisessig und 10 ml Essigsäureanhydrid suspendiert und man tropft unter Rühren und Kühlen eine 30%ige Lösung von 4,8 ml (0,05 Mol) Wasserstoffperoxyd zu. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird bis zum ganzen Auflösen bei Raumtemperatur gerührt und das Rühren wird dann unter Kühlen mit Eis-Wasser noch weitere 5 Stunden fortgesetzt. Die reine Lösung wird über Nacht stehen gelassen und auf Eis gegossen. Das ausgeschiedene Produkt wird filtriert und mit Wasser säurefrei gewaschen. Man erhält 3,8 g (87%) der Titelverbindung. Schmp.: 174-176°C. Nach Umkristallisieren aus Methanol schmilzt das Produkt bei 177-178°C.
Minimale Hemmungskonzentration bei Trichophyton mentagrophytes: 2,5 ftg/ml, Epidermophyton floccosum: 10 /tg/ml.
Beispiel 8
l-(3-Acetoxy-4-carboxy-phenyl)-3-cyclohexyl-sulfonyl--pyrrolidin-2,5-dion
Man löst 8,24 g (0,03 Mol) l-(3-Acetoxy-4-carboxy-phenyl)--pyrrolin-2,5-dion in 80 ml Dioxan und man gibt 3,6 ml (0,03 Mol) Cyclohexanthiol zu. Man tropft noch 2 Tropfen Triäthyl-amin Katalysator zum Reaktionsgemisch und das Gemisch wird 4 Stunden bei 80-90°C gehalten. Das Lösungsmittel wird in Vacuum eingeengt. Als Rückstand erhält man ein öliges l-(3--Acetoxy-4-carboxy-phenyl)-3-cyclohexylthio-pyrrolidin-2,5--dion. Das erhaltene Produkt wird in einem Gemisch von 30 ml Eisessig und 30 ml Essigsäureanhydrid gelöst und man tropft unter Kühlen mit Eis-Wasser und unter Rühren eine 30%ige Lösung von 14,4 ml (0,15 Mol) Wasserstoffperoxyd zu. Man hört mit dem Kühlen auf und das Reaktionsgemisch lässt man auf 30°C erwärmen. Das Gemisch wird mit Eis-Wasser wieder auf 0-5 °C abgekühlt und bei dieser Temperatur 5 Stunden gerührt. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird über Nacht stehen gelassen. Die reine Lösung wird den folgenden Tag auf Eis-Wasser gegossen und das ausgeschiedene Produkt wird filtriert und mit Wasser säurefrei gewaschen. Man erhält 6,7 g der Titelverbindung. Schmp.: 155-158°C. Ausbeute: 52,9%.
Schmelzpunkt nach Umkristallisieren aus 50% Äthanol: 160-161°C.

Mit den Präparaten a)-c) wurde der Mikroorganismus Hemmungstest wiederholt. l-(p-Tolyl)-3-cyclohexy!sulfonyl-pyrroli-din-2,5-dion wurde geprüft und die folgenden Ergebnisse wurden erhalten:

PATENTANSPRÜCHE 1. 3-Cycloalkylsulfonyl-pyrroUdin-2,5-dion-Derivate der allgemeinen Formel

A für Cycloalkyl mit 5-10 Kohlenstoffatomen,
R für Wasserstoff, für Alkyl mit 1-6 Kohlenstoffatomen, für gegebenenfalls durch ein oder mehrere Alkyl mit 1-4 Kohlenstoffatomen, Nitro, Hydroxy, Hydroxymethyl, Carboxy, 5 Sulfo, Sulfonylamino, Halogen, Alkoxy mit 1-4 Kohlenstoffatomen, Acyloxy mit 1-4 Kohlenstoffatomen, Alkoxycarbonyl mit 2-5 Kohlenstoffatomen, Acyl mit 1-4 Kohlenstoffatomen oder N-(C2-5-Alkoxycarbonyl)-sulfonyl-amino substituiertes Phenyl oder für Phenyl-(Ci-4-Alkyl) steht, und Salze derselben, io dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man ein Cycloalkylthiol der allgemeinen Formel

3. Verfahren für die Herstellung von 3-Cycloalkyl-sulfonyl--pyrrolidin-2,5-dion-Derivaten der allgemeinen Formel

4. Verfahren zur Herstellung von 3-Cycloalkyl-sulfonyl--pyrrolidin-2,5-dion-Derivaten der allgemeinen Formel I, die die in Anspruch 3 angegebene Bedeutung hat, dadurch gekenn-45 zeichnet, dass man das 3-Cycloalkylthio-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion--Derivat der allgemeinen Formel

17. Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Dehydratisierung mit Säureanhydriden durchführt.
io 18. Verfahren nach Anspruch 17, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man als Säureanhydrid Essigsäureanhydrid einsetzt.
19. Fungizide pharmazeutische Präparate gekennzeichnet durch einen Gehalt an einem oder mehreren 3-CycloaIkyl-sul-fonyl-pyrrolidin-2,5-dion Derivaten der allgemeinen Formel I
15 — worin A und R wie oben definiert sind oder einem Sàlz derselben — als Wirkstoff und an pharmazeutischen Formulierungshilfsstoffen.
20. Fungizide Mittel nach Anspruch 19, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es als Hauptwirkstoff 1-80% einer Verbindung
20 der allgemeinen Formel I worin A und R wie oben definiert sind, oder eines Salzes derselben, 0-20% Kieselsäure, 0-10% oberflächenaktives Material, 0-20% mineralischen Füllstoff, 0-5% Schleimstoff, 0-10% eines Schutzkolloids, 0-80% Stärke, 0-50% Glycerin, 0-15% Wasser oder 0-90% inertes atoxisches
25 Lösungsmittel, und 0-60% Aerosoltreibgas enthält.

5. Verfahren zur Herstellung von 3-CycloalkyI-sulfonyl-60 -pyrrolidin-2,5-dion-Derivaten der allgemeinen Formel I, die die in Anspruch 3 angegebene Bedeutung hat, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man eine Cycloalkylsulfinylsäure der allgemeinen Formel

6. Verfahren zur Herstellung von 3-Cycloalkyl-sulfonyl--pyrrolidin-2,5-dion-Derivaten der allgemeinen Formel I, die die in Anspruch 3 angegebene Bedeutung hat, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man ein 3-Halogenpyrrolidin-2,5-dion-Derivat der allgemeinen Formel

worin R wie oben definiert ist, und X Halogen bedeutet, mit einem Alkalimetallsulfinat der allgemeinen Formel

15. Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Additionsreaktion in einem inerten, polaren, aprotischen Lösungsmittel vornimmt.
16. Verfahren nach Anspruch 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet,

Verfahren zur Herstellung von 3-Cycloalkyl-sulfonyl--pyrrolidin-2,5-dion-Derivaten der allgemeinen Formel I, die die in Anspruch 3 angegebene Bedeutung hat, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man ein Cycloalkyl-sulfonyl-bernsteinsäure-semiamid der allgemeinen Formel worin A wie oben definiert ist, und einer der Substituenten B und D für Hydroxy steht und der andere eine -NH-R Gruppe bedeutet, worin R wie oben definiert ist, mit einem wasserabspaltenden Mittel behandelt.
8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Additionsreaktion in einem inerten organischen Lösungsmittel und/oder in Gegenwart eines basischen Katalysators durchführt.
9. Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, Äther und/oder Alkohol als organisches Lösungsmittel verwendet.
10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man als basischen Katalysator Triäthylamin oder Triäthy-len-diamin verwendet.
11. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3 oder 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Oxydation in einem inerten Lösungsmittel durchführt.
12. Verfahren nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man als inertes Lösungsmittel Wasser, niedere Ketone, niedere Alkancarbonsäuren, niedere Alkancarbonsäureanhydride oder ein Gemisch derselben verwendet.
13. Verfahren nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Oxydation mit Wasserstoffperoxyd durchführt.
14. Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Additionsreaktion in einem Gemisch von Wasser und einem niederen Alkanol durchführt.
