Abstract
a presente invenção refere-se a uma resina absorvente de água que aumenta a difusividade de um líquido a ser absorvido e que torna possível diminuir efetivamente a quantidade de re-umidificação. a resina absorvente de água é obtida por polimerização de um monômero etilenicamente insaturado solúvel em água sob a presença de um agente de reticulação interna, tem a capacidade de absorção de água de solução fisiológica sob uma carga de 4,14 kpa a 120 minutos passados desde o início da absorção de água de 20 ml/g ou mais e exibe o grau de intumescimento sob uma carga a 30 minutos de 70% ou menos quando a capacidade de absorção de água de solução fisiológica sob uma carga de 4,14 kpa a 120 minutos a partir do início da absorção de água é designado como o grau de intumescimento sob uma carga de 100%. a resina absorvente de água pode ser produzida executando as seguintes etapas em um método em que é produzida uma resina absorvente de água pela realização de polimerização em suspensão de fase reversa de um monômero etilenicamente insaturado insolúvel em água em um meio de dispersão de hidrocarbonetos sob a presença de uma agente de reticulação: uma etapa no qual a polimerização é realizada sob a presença de um composto à base de nitrogênio e um peróxido; e uma etapa no qual um gel contendo água obtido pela dita polimerização é pós-reticulado utilizando um agente de pós-reticulação.
