- Play means that the user inputs an operation for advancing the game (hereinafter referred to as “game operation”) to advance the game.
- game operation an operation for advancing the game
- inputting a game operation may be referred to as “playing a quest (playing a quest)”.
- the user is assumed to be a player who plays a game unless otherwise specified.
- Quest is one or more game goals.
- One or more goal achievement conditions are associated with the game goal in advance. In this embodiment, satisfying the goal achievement condition for a part or all of the game goals constituting the quest may be referred to as “quest achievement (quest is achieved)”.
- a game goal is also associated with one or more game parts. That is, one quest is associated with a goal achievement condition related to one or more game parts. In this case, to play a quest is to play a game part of a game target included in the quest.
- the quest is a predetermined number of battles in the battle part will be described.
- Quest may be terminated when at least some of the goal achievement conditions constituting the quest are satisfied, or may be terminated when a predetermined quest termination condition is satisfied.
- Quest end conditions may include temporal, spatial, and numerical conditions.
- the time condition may be, for example, that a predetermined time elapses from the start of the quest.
- the spatial condition may be, for example, that the player character has been moved to a predetermined location.
- the numerical condition may be, for example, a numerical value of a predetermined parameter of the player character such as a life point described later becomes a predetermined value.
- a reward is associated with the quest, and the game system 1 grants a reward to the user when the quest is achieved. That is, the quest is a unit of a game segment for giving a reward.
- Remuneration may vary depending on the type and content of goal achievement conditions. That is, the reward may be different depending on the type of opponent set in the quest, the difficulty level of the quest, and the like.
- the difficulty level of a quest is an index of the difficulty (severity) of satisfying the goal achievement condition set in the quest. For example, when the goal achievement condition is to win the battle, the difficulty level of the quest may correspond to the strength of the opponent.
- the strength of the opponent is, for example, the value of a parameter indicating the ability of the opponent in the battle, the value of the parameter of the card used by the opponent in the battle, the calculation accuracy of the program for controlling the opponent (for example, artificial intelligence It varies depending on the learning intensity.
