上記本発明の第5の側面によれば、1つのポンプ装置を用いた簡易な構成において、流体供給源から供給される流体の圧力(すなわち、第1の分岐管側と第2の分岐管側とにおける流体の圧力差)を増減させるだけで、2つの流路に対して流体を選択的に供給することが可能となる。
上記本発明の第6の側面によれば、第1および第2の分岐管のいずれか一方を選択的に閉鎖する弁体を簡易な構成により実現することができる。
上記本発明の第7の側面および第8の側面によれば、1つのポンプ装置を用いた簡易な構成において、インペラの回転方向と、一方の回転方向におけるインペラの回転動作(すなわち、第1の導出流路に導かれる流体の圧力の大小)とを制御することにより、3つの流体供給経路(第2の導出流路、第1の分岐管、及び第2の分岐管)に対して流体を選択的に供給することが可能となる。
上記本発明の第9の側面によれば、第1の導出流路に導かれる流体の圧力を容易に調節する(すなわち、第1および第2の分岐管の閉鎖または開放を選択する)ことができる。
上記本発明の第10の側面によれば、電源から一定の電源電圧が供給される場合においても、電動モータに印加する電圧を容易に調節することができる。
上記本発明の第11の側面によれば、ポンプ装置による流体の供給圧力を必要な範囲で増減できない場合であっても、流体の供給圧力の上昇を適正に制御することにより、簡易な構成により2つの流体供給経路(第1および第2の分岐管)に対して流体を選択的に供給することが可能となる
上記本発明の第12の側面によれば、蛇口やコンプレッサー等の流体供給源を複数必要とすることなく、流路切替弁によって流体を流通させる配管を切り替えるだけで、流体分配バルブの下流側に接続された2つの流路に対して流体を選択的に供給することが可能となる。
以下、本発明の第1実施形態に係る流体分配バルブを備えた流体供給システムとしてのウォッシャポンプシステムについて図面を参照しながら説明する。説明にあたり、方向を示す用語については、参照する図面の表示に従って定めるが、実用上の各構成要素の配置はこれらに限定されないものとする。なお、図1に示すウォッシャポンプ5およびバルブ機構8の断面は、図2中のI-I断面に相当する。
次に、図10~図15を参照しながら本発明の第2実施形態に係るウォッシャポンプシステムについて説明する。この第2実施形態では、以下で特に言及する事項を除いて、第1の実施形態のウォッシャポンプシステムと同様の構成を有するものとする。また、図10~図15では、第1実施形態と同様の構成要素については同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。
次に、図16を参照して本発明の第3実施形態に係るウォッシャポンプシステム1について説明する。この第3実施形態では、以下で特に言及する事項を除いて、第2実施形態のウォッシャポンプシステムと同様の構成(第2実施形態について説明を省略した第1実施形態の構成を含む)を有するものとする。また、図16では、第2実施形態と同様の構成要素については同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。

- 流体供給源から供給された流体を複数の流路に選択的に分配する流体分配バルブであって、
前記流体供給源に連通する第1および第2の分岐管と、
前記2つの分岐管のいずれか一方を選択的に閉鎖すると共に、前記第1の分岐管が閉鎖された場合に前記流体供給源から前記第2の分岐管への流体の流通を許容する貫通孔を有する弁体と
を備え、
前記弁体は、その初期状態において、前記第1の分岐管を閉鎖する一方、前記流体供給源から流体が供給された際に、前記第1の分岐管側と第2の分岐管側とにおける前記流体の圧力差に応じて変位または変形することにより、前記第1の分岐管を開放すると共に前記貫通孔を閉鎖することを特徴とする流体分配バルブ。 - 前記第1の分岐管を閉鎖する向きに前記本体部を付勢する付勢手段を更に備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の流体分配バルブ。
- 前記第1の分岐管が閉鎖状態にある場合に、前記流体供給源に前記貫通孔を介して連通する貯留スペースを有するアキュムレータを更に備え、
前記貯留スペースは、前記流体供給源から流体が供給された際に、当該流体の圧力によって拡大されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の流体分配バルブ。 - 前記アキュムレータは、前記貯留スペースの一部を画成するカップ状の弾性部材を有し、
前記弾性部材は、先丸円錐形状の底部と、当該底部に連なる環状の開口縁部とを有し、
前記弾性部材の初期状態において、前記底部が前記開口縁部の内側に折り返された状態にある一方、前記流体供給源から流体が供給された際に、当該流体の圧力によって前記折り返された状態が解消されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の流体分配バルブ。 - 複数の流体供給経路に流体を選択的に供給する流体供給システムであって、
前記流体を吐出するポンプ装置と、
前記ポンプ装置に接続された流体分配バルブと、
前記ポンプ装置の吐出圧力を制御するポンプ制御装置と
を備え、
前記流体分配バルブは、前記ポンプ装置の1つの流路に連通する第1および第2の分岐管と、当該第1の分岐管側と当該第2の分岐管側とにおける前記流体の圧力差に応じて作動することにより、前記2つの分岐管のいずれか一方を選択的に閉鎖する弁体とを有することを特徴とする流体供給システム。 - 前記弁体は、前記第1の分岐管が閉鎖された場合に前記流体供給源から前記第2の分岐管への流体の流通を許容する貫通孔を有し、その初期状態において、前記第1の分岐管を閉鎖する一方、前記流体供給源から流体が供給された際に、前記第1の分岐管側と第2の分岐管側とにおける前記流体の圧力差に応じて変位または変形することにより、前記第1の分岐管を開放すると共に前記貫通孔を閉鎖することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の流体供給システム。

前記各吐出口にそれぞれ連通する第1および第2の導出流路を有すると共に、前記各吐出口から吐出される流体の圧力差に応じて、当該2つの導出流路のうち低圧側の導出流路を閉鎖すると共に高圧側の導出流路を開放するバルブ機構を更に備え、
前記流体分配バルブは、前記バルブ機構に接続され、前記第1および第2の分岐管は、前記第1の導出流路に連通することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の流体供給システム。 - 請求項7に記載の流体供給システムの制御方法であって、
前記ポンプ制御装置が、前記インペラの回転方向と、少なくとも一方の回転方向における当該インペラの回転動作とを制御することにより、前記第2の導出流路、前記第1の分岐管、及び前記第2の分岐管のいずれかに流体を選択的に供給するステップを有することを特徴とする流体供給システムの制御方法。 - 前記ポンプ装置は、前記インペラを回転駆動する電動モータを有し、

前記流体の供給を開始する際に、当該流体の供給圧力を第1の時間内に所定値まで増大させることにより、前記第1の分岐管を開放すると共に前記貫通孔を閉鎖する一方、前記供給圧力を前記第1の時間よりも大きな第2の時間で所定値まで漸増させることにより、前記第1の分岐管の閉鎖状態を維持するステップを有することを特徴とする流体供給システムの制御方法。 - 請求項1に記載の流体分配バルブを備えた流体供給システムの制御方法であって、
前記流体供給システムは、
前記流体供給源と前記流体分配バルブとを結ぶ流路において、分岐流路として設けられた第1及び第2の配管と、
