ポリシロキサン系組成物およびそれから得られる成形体、ォプトデバイス 部材
技術分野
[0001] 本発明は、広い波長領域および温度領域で高い透明性を維持し、さらには、耐熱 性、低誘電特性、加工性等に優れポリシロキサン系組成物、および、それから得られ る成形体、ォプトデバイス部材に関する。
背景技術
[0002] ポリシロキサン系組成物は、耐熱性、耐寒性、耐候性、耐光性、化学的安定性、電 気特性、難燃性、耐水性、透明性、着色性、非粘着性、非腐食性に優れており、様 々な産業で利用され、その充填剤として、シリカを配合することが一般的である。しか しながら、シリカとポリシロキサンの屈折率の違いから、得られる硬化物は、不透明と なることが多い。
[0003] 上記の課題を解決するべぐポリシロキサンの Si原子上にフエ-ル基を導入するこ とで、屈折率を調整し、シリカとの複合材料の透明性を向上させる技術が知られてい る。し力しながら、ポリシロキサンとシリカの複合材料は、ポリシロキサンとシリカの屈折 率の温度依存性の違いにより、例えば、常温で透明であっても、高温条件下では、 白濁する傾向を見せ、広い温度領域で透明性を維持することは大きな課題とされて いた。また、フエ二ル基を導入することにより、耐熱性'耐光性が低下する等の課題も 併せて抱えていた。
[0004] 一方、多面体骨格を有するポリシロキサンを含有することを特徴とする榭脂組成物 は公知である。
例えば、多面体骨格を有する官能基含有シルセスキォキサンのヒドロシリル化硬化性 組成物について、開示されている。該技術では、具体的には、ビニル基含有シルセ スキォキサンとヒドロシリル基含有シルセスキォキサン力 構成される例が示されてい るが、剛直で非常に脆い材料となり、また、成形加工性に劣る (例えば、非特許文献
D o [0005] また、炭素 炭素 2重結合を有する多面体骨格シルセスキォキサンとラジカル開始 剤とを含有する榭脂組成物にっ ヽても開示されて ヽる(特許文献 1)。該技術にぉ ヽ ては、多面体骨格を有するポリシロキサンィ匕合物は、熱可塑性榭脂への添加剤的な 利用であり、その特長を十分に発現するには至っていない。また、マトリクス成分とは ならないため、限定的な改質効果に留まっている。
[0006] さらに、最近になって、エポキシ基を含有する多面体骨格を有するポリシロキサンを 用いた硬化性組成物が開示されている(特許文献 2、 3)。該技術によれば、エポキシ 基と多面体骨格を形成するポリシロキサン骨格との間に多くの炭化水素単位 (アルキ レン鎖によるスぺーサ一)が存在するため、耐熱性 '耐光性が十分とは言えない。
[0007] その他に、多面体骨格を有して 、な 、例として、特定の構造を有するシルセスキォ キサンとポリシロキサンとのハイブリッド材料が開示されている(特許文献 4)。該技術 によれば、実質的にシルセスキォキサン単位あたり 2つの反応点で直鎖状ポリシロキ サンとの結合しているのみであり、十分な特性は得られない。また、ポリシロキサン骨 格を構成する Si原子上の置換基として、実質的にフエニル基のみが開示されており、 耐熱性'耐光性の観点で不十分となる恐れがある。
[0008] また、多面体骨格を有するシルセスキォキサンとビニル基含有化合物とを反応させ る共重合体とを反応させて得られる共重合体についても開示されている。該技術に お!、ては、多面体構造を有するシルセスキォキサンが主鎖を構成するポリマーにダラ フトした構造であり、一定の改質効果を示すものの、その効果としては、不十分となる 場合があった (例えば、特許文献 5)。
[0009] その他にも、これらポリシロキサン組成物は、熱膨張率が高ぐ加熱による寸法安定 性が低いといった問題点を有しているが、エポキシ基、アミノ基を含有する多面体骨 格を有するポリシロキサンカゝら構成された榭脂組成物が開示され、榭脂組成物内に 多面体構造を有するポリシロキサンを導入することによって、熱膨張率を抑制できるこ とが報告されている (特許文献 6、非特許文献 2)。し力しながら、該当技術では、組成 物内に、エポキシ基、アミノ基、フエ-レン基を含む、多くの炭化水素単位が存在し、 これらは加熱や光照射により着色するため、フィルムや封止剤などの透明性材料とし て用いるには不十分になる恐れがある。すなわち、透明性を維持し、加熱による寸法 安定性に優れ、熱膨張率を抑えた材料の例は見られな 、。
[0010] また、近年、次世代 DVDなどの大容量記録媒体にぉ 、て、青紫色レーザー(波長 405nm前後)と呼ばれる短波長のレーザーが使用されている。この青紫色レーザー は、従来の DVD等に用いられる赤色レーザー(波長 650nm程度)に比べて、高エネ ルギ一であるため、ォプトデバイスに使用される榭脂の劣化が大きな課題となってい る。
[0011] 耐青紫色レーザー性を有する榭脂としては、例えば、シクロォレフイン系榭脂ゃァク リル系榭脂 (例えば、非特許文献 3、特許文献 7、特許文献 8)、シリコーン系榭脂 (例 えば、特許文献 9)が開示されている。しかしながら、耐久性が十分とは言えない。
[0012] 上記のように、多面体骨格を有するポリシロキサンィ匕合物を用いた材料の開示は見 られる力 十分な物性や加工性'成形性を持ち合せた材料の例は見られず、新たな 材料の開発が望まれていた。

発明が解決しょうとする課題
[0013] 本発明は、上記課題が解決された、広い波長領域および温度領域で高い透明性 を維持し、さら〖こは、耐熱性、耐光性、低誘電特性、加工性等に優れるポリシロキサ ン系組成物およびこれから得られる成形体を提供することを目的とする。また、波長 領域 350〜450nmのレーザーを光源として用いるォプトデバイス部材を提供するこ とを目的とする。
課題を解決するための手段
[0014] 本発明者は、前記課題を解決するために鋭意検討を重ねた結果、分子中に Si原 子を 6〜24個から形成される多面体骨格を有するポリシロキサンィ匕合物であって、多 面体骨格を形成する Si原子上に、少なくとも 1つの、直接または間接的に結合したァ ルケ二ル基を有することを特徴とするポリシロキサン、ヒドロシリル基を有するポリシ口 キサン、ヒドロシリルイ匕触媒、とからなるポリシロキサン系組成物が広い波長領域およ び温度領域で透明性を損なうことなぐ耐熱性、低誘電特性、加工性等に優れること を見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。すなわち本発明は、以下の構成によるもので ある。

(C)ヒドロシリルイ匕触媒、
とからなるポリシロキサン系組成物。

発明を実施するための最良の形態
[0040] 以下に、本発明について詳細に説明する。本発明は、(A)分子中に Si原子を 6〜2 4個から形成される多面体骨格を有するポリシロキサンィ匕合物であって、多面体骨格 を形成する Si原子上に、少なくとも 1つの、直接または間接的に結合したアルケニル 基を有することを特徴とするポリシロキサン、 (B)ヒドロシリル基を有するポリシロキサン 、(C)ヒドロシリルイ匕触媒、とからなるポリシロキサン系組成物に関する。

3 縮合反応によって分子内に 3個のシラノール基を有するトリシラノールイ匕合物を合成 したのち、さらに、同一もしくは異なる 3官能性シランィ匕合物を反応させることにより、 閉環し、多面体骨格を有するシルセスキォキサンを合成する方法も知られて 、る。
[0046] 本発明において、さらに好ましい例としては、以下の構造で示されるような多面体構 造を有するシリカが例示される (ここでは、 Si原子数 =8を代表例として例示する)。該 化合物においては、多面体骨格を形成する Si原子とアルケニル基とが、シロキサン 結合を介して結合していることから、得られる硬化物の剛直になり過ぎず、良好な成 形体を得ることができる。

[0048] 上記、構造中、 R9〜R32は、ビュル基、ァリル基、ブテュル基、へキセ -ル基等のアル ケニル基、(メタ)アタリロイル基、エポキシ基、メルカプト基、アミノ基を含有する有機 基、水素原子、メチル基、ェチル基、プロピル基、ブチル基等のアルキル基、シクロ へキシル基等のシクロアルキル基、フエ-ル基、トリル基等のァリール基、またはこれ らの基の炭素原子に結合した水素原子の一部又は全部をハロゲン原子、シァノ基な どで置換したクロロメチル基、トリフルォロプロピル基、シァノエチル基など力 選択さ れる同一又は異種の有機基である。ただし、これら R9〜R32のうち、少なくとも 1っはァ ルケニル基である。前記アルケニル基においては、耐熱性の観点からビニル基が好 ましぐアルケニル基以外の基が選択される場合も、耐熱性の観点からメチル基が好 ましい。
[0049] 多面体構造を有するシリカの合成方法としては、特に限定されず、公知の方法を用 いて合成される。前記合成方法としては、具体的に、例えば、テトラエトキシシラン等 のテトラアルコキシシランを 4級アンモ-ゥムヒドロキシド等の塩基存在下で加水分解 縮合させる方法が挙げられる。本合成方法においては、テトラアルコキシシランの加 水分解縮合反応により、多面体構造を有するケィ酸塩が得られ、さらに得られたケィ 酸塩をアルケニル基含有シリルクロライド等のシリル化剤と反応させることにより、多面 体構造を形成する Si原子とアルケニル基とが、シロキサン結合を介して結合したポリ シロキサンを得ることが可能となる。本発明においては、テトラアルコキシランの替わり に、シリカや稲籾殻等のシリカ含有する物質からも、同様の多面体構造を有するシリ 力を得ることが可能である。
[0050] 本発明においては、多面体骨格に含有される Si原子の数として、 6〜24、さらに好 ましくは、 6〜: LOのものを好適に用いることが可能である。また、 Si原子数の異なる多 面体骨格を有するポリシロキサンの混合物であってもよい。
また、本発明においては、 1分子中に含まれるァルケ-ル基の数は、少なくとも 1つ、 より好ましくは、少なくとも 2つ、さらに好ましくは、少なくとも 3つ含有することが望まし い。
[0051] < (B)ヒドロシリル基を有するポリシロキサン >
本発明における (B)成分としては、ヒドロシリル基 (Si原子に直結した水素原子)を 有するものであるが、 1分子中に少なくとも 2個含有するものが好ましぐ直鎖構造を 有するヒドロシリル基含有ポリシロキサン、分子末端にヒドロシリル基を有するポリシ口 キサン、ヒドロシリル基を含有する環状シロキサン、ヒドロシリル基を含有する環状シロ キサンとァルケ-ル基を有する有機化合物とをヒドロシリルィヒ反応させて得られる反 応物であって該化合物の分子中に少なくとも 2個のヒドロシリル基を有する反応物、な どを好適に使用できる。これらヒドロシリル基を有する化合物は単独で使用してもよく 、 2種以上を併用してもよい。

産業上の利用可能性
本発明は、広い波長領域および温度領域で高い透明性を維持し、さらには、耐熱 性、低誘電特性、加工性等に優れポリシロキサン系組成物と、その組成物カゝら得られ る成形体、ォプトデバイス部材に関する。

Claims

請求の範囲
[1] (A)分子中に Si原子を 6〜24個から形成される多面体骨格を有するポリシロキサン 化合物であって、多面体骨格を形成する Si原子上に、少なくとも 1つの、直接または 間接的に結合したアルケニル基を有することを特徴とするポリシロキサン、
(B)ヒドロシリル基を有するポリシロキサン、
(C)ヒドロシリルイ匕触媒、
とからなるポリシロキサン系組成物。
[2] (A)成分にお!ヽて、多面体骨格を形成する Si原子とアルケニル基とが、シロキサン結 合を介して結合して 、ることを特徴とする、請求項 1に記載のポリシロキサン系組成物
[3] (A)成分のアルケニル基力 ビニル基であることを特徴とする、請求項 1または 2に記 載の組成物。
[4] (B)成分が、直鎖構造を有するポリシロキサンであることを特徴とする、請求項 1〜3 のいずれか 1項に記載のポリシロキサン系組成物。
[5] (B)成分において、分子末端にヒドロシリル基を有することを特徴とする請求項 1〜4 のいずれか 1項に記載のポリシロキサン系組成物。
[6] (B)成分の重合度が 2以上 300以下であることを特徴とする請求項 1〜5の 、ずれか
1項に記載のポリシロキサン系組成物。
[7] (B)成分が、ヒドロシリル基を有する環状シロキサン化合物であることを特徴とする請 求項 1〜3のいずれ力 1項に記載のポリシロキサン系組成物。
[8] (F)成分として、アルケニル基を有する環状シロキサンィ匕合物、を含有することを特 徴とする請求項 7記載のポリシロキサン系組成物。
[9] (B)成分であるポリシロキサンのヒドロキシル基が少なくとも 2個であることを特徴とす る請求項 1〜7いずれか 1項に記載のポリシロキサン系組成物。
[10] (B)成分が、ヒドロシリル基を含有するポリシロキサンとァルケ-ル基を有する有機 化合物とをヒドロシリル化反応させて得られる反応物であって、該反応物の分子中に 少なくとも 2個のヒドロシリル基を有することを特徴とする請求項 1〜7のいずれ力 1項 に記載のポリシロキサン系組成物。
[11] (D)硬化遅延剤、を含有することを特徴とする請求項 1〜10のいずれか 1項に記載 のポリシロキサン系糸且成物。
[12] (D)成分が、プロパルギルアルコール類および Zまたはマレイン酸エステル類であ ることを特徴とする請求項 11に記載のポリシロキサン系組成物。
[13] (E)接着性付与剤、を含有することを特徴とする請求項 1〜12のいずれか 1項に記 載のポリシロキサン系組成物。
[14] (E)成分がシランカップリング剤、であることを特徴とする、請求項 13記載のポリシ口 キサン系組成物。
[15] (E)成分が分子内にエポキシ基、メタクリル基、アクリル基、イソシァネート基、イソシ ァヌレート基、ビニル基、力ルバメート基力も選ばれる少なくとも 1つの官能基と加水 分解性のケィ酸基を有するシランカップリング剤である、請求項 14記載のポリシロキ サン系組成物。
[16] (E)成分がエポキシ基含有ィ匕合物であることを特徴とする、請求項 13記載のポリシ ロキサン系組成物。
[17] (E)成分が分子内にエポキシ基を有する多面体骨格を有するポリシロキサンである ことを特徴とする請求項 16に記載の硬化性組成物。
[18] 請求項 1〜16のいずれか 1項に記載のポリシロキサン系組成物を硬化させて得ら れる硬化物。
[19] (A)〜 (C)成分、 (D)成分を含有する場合は、必要に応じて (D)成分も可溶な溶剤 に溶解させ、 (A)成分のァルケ-ル基と (B)成分のヒドロシリル基の一部を反応させ たあと、溶媒を留去して、液状榭脂組成物としたのち、成形することを特徴とする、請 求項 1〜16のいずれか 1項に記載のポリシロキサン系組成物の成形方法。
[20] 請求項 19に記載のポリシロキサン系組成物の成形方法によって得られる成形体。
[21] 厚さ 3mmでの波長 400nmにおける光線透過率力 ¾0%以上の成形体であって、 20 0±5°Cでの試験後(空気下にて 24時間)、および、メタリングウエザーメーターを用 いた試験後(ブラックパネル温度 120 ±5°C、放射照度 0.53±0. 05kWZm2、積算 照射光量 50MjZm2)での、波長 400nmでの光線透過率の変化がそれぞれ試験前 の 5%以下であることを特長とする請求項 18記載の硬化物。
[22] 波長領域 350〜450nmのレーザーを光源として用いるォプトデバイス用部材であ つて、室温にてトルエン中に 72時間浸漬後のゲル分率が 95%以上のシリコーン系 榭脂を主成分とすることを特徴とするォプトデバイス部材。
[23] 室温にてトルエン中に 72時間浸漬後のゲル分率が 95%以上のシリコーン系榭脂が
(A)少なくとも 1つのァルケ-ル基を有するポリシロキサン、
(B)少なくとも 2つのヒドロシリル基を有するポリシロキサン、
(C)ヒドロシリルイ匕触媒、
とを必須成分としてなるポリシロキサン系組成物から得られることを特徴とする請求項 22記載のォプトデバイス部材。
[24] 請求項 1〜17のいずれか 1項に記載のポリシロキサン系組成物を硬化させて得られ ることを特徴とする請求項 23に記載のォプトデバイス部材。
