Abstract
Se describen dispositivos para disociación de agua y métodos para fabricar dispositivos para disociación de agua o celdas solares. El método busca proporcionar un método de producción en masa de bajo costo de volumen relativamente alto. En un ejemplo el método facilita el co-ensamble simultáneo de una o más sub-unidades y dos o más películas o láminas poliméricas para formar un dispositivo para disociación de agua. De acuerdo con otro aspecto, se proporciona un dispositivo para disociación de agua mejorado. En una forma ejemplar se proporciona un dispositivo para disociación de agua que incluye un primer electrodo para producir gas de oxígeno y un segundo electrodo para producir gas de hidrógeno a partir del agua. El primer electrodo y el segundo electrodo se colocan entre una primera capa polimérica exterior y una segunda capa polimérica exterior, y se coloca al menos una capa separadora entre la primera capa polimérica exterior y la segunda capa polimérica exterior.
