Abstract

본 명세서에는 하기 화학식(Ⅰ)의 2종 이상의 상이한 물질로 이루어진 액정 화합물의 혼합물 및 Z1, Z2, Y1, Y2, A1및 A2중 2개 이상이 동일하지 않은 상기 화학식의 신규 화합물이 기재되어 있다.
상기 식 중, Z1및 Z2는 서로 독립적으로 중합성 기이고, Y1및 Y2는 서로 독립적으로 각각 직접적인 결합, -O-, -COO-, -OCO- 또는 -S-이고, A1및 A2는 서로 독립적으로 스페이서이고, R1, R2및 R3은 종래 치환체이다. 신규 혼합물 및 화합물은 특히 착색 효과물질 및 피에조 물질을 위한 기재 재료로서, 바람직하게는 키랄 도핑된 형태로 적합하다.

Claims (16)

  1. 하기 화학식(Ⅰ)의 2종 이상의 상이한 물질로 이루어진 액정 화합물의 혼합물.
    상기 식 중, Z1및 Z2는 서로 독립적으로 중합성 기이고, Y1및 Y2는 서로 독립적으로 각각 직접적인 결합, -O-, -COO-, -OCO- 또는 -S-이고, A1및 A2는 서로 독립적으로 스페이서이고, R1, R2및 R3은 서로 독립적으로 수소, C1- 내지 C20-알킬, C1- 내지 C20-알콕시, C1- 내지 C20-알콕시카르보닐, C1- 내지 C20-모노알킬아미노카르보닐, 포르밀, C1- 내지 C20-알킬카르보닐, 불소, 염소, 브롬, 시아노, C1- 내지 C20-알킬카르보닐옥시, C1- 내지 C20-알킬카르보닐아미노, 히드록실 또는 니트로이다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, Z1및(또는) Z2는 화학식 CH2=CH-, CH2=CCI-, CH2=C(CH3)-의 라디칼 또는 비닐페닐인 액정 혼합물.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, Y1및 Y2는 서로 독립적으로 직접적인 결합, -O-, -COO- 또는 -OCO-인 액정 혼합물.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, A1및 A2는 서로 독립적으로 에테르 산소 또는 에스테르기에 의해 중단될 수 있는 C2- 내지 C20-알킬렌이고, 여기서 산소 원자 또는 에스테르기는 쇄 중 제3탄소 원자를 치환할 수 있는 것인 액정 혼합물.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, R1, R2및 R3은 서로 독립적으로 수소, C1- 내지 C15-알킬, C1- 내지 C15-알콕시, C1- 내지 C15-알콕시카르보닐, C1- 내지 C15-모노알킬아미노카르보닐, 포르밀, C1- 내지 C15-알킬카르보닐, 불소, 염소, 브롬, 시아노, C1- 내지 C15-알킬카르보닐옥시, C1- 내지 C15-알킬카르보닐아미노, 히드록실 또는 니트로인 액정 혼합물.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, R1, R2및 R3은 서로 독립적으로 수소, 메틸, 에틸, C8- 내지 C15-알킬, 메톡시, 에톡시, C8- 내지 C15-알콕시, 메톡시카르보닐, 에톡시카르보닐, C8- 내지 C15-알콕시카르보닐, 포르밀, 아세틸, C8- 내지 C15-알킬카르보닐, 불소, 염소, 브롬, 시아노, 아세톡시, 히드록실 또는 니트로인 액정 혼합물.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, R1, R2및 R3은 서로 독립적으로 수소, 메틸, 에틸, 메톡시, 에톡시, 메톡시카르보닐, 포르밀, 아세틸, 불소, 염소, 브롬, 시아노, 아세톡시, 히드록실 또는 니트로인 액정 혼합물.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 액정 또는 비액정일 수 있는 중합체 키랄 화합물을 50% 이하, 바람직하게는 1 내지 30% 포함하는 액정 혼합물.
  9. R1내지 R3, Z1, Z2, Y1, Y2, A1및 A2는 상기 정의한 바와 같고, -A1-Y1- 및 Y2-A2-는 동시에 동일한 -O-알킬렌 라디칼은 아닌 것인, 제1항에 기재된 화학식(Ⅰ)의 화합물.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, A1및 A2가 서로 상이한 것인 화합물.
  11. 제9항에 있어서, Z1및 Z2가 서로 상이한 것인 화합물.
  12. 제9항에 있어서, Y1및(또는) Y2라디칼들 중 적어도 2개는 서로 상이한 것인 화합물.
  13. 잔기가 화학식[식 중, R4는 C2- 내지 C15-알킬, C2- 내지 C15-알콕시, C2- 내지 C15-알카노일, C2- 내지 C15-알카노일옥시 또는 C2- 내지 C15-알콕시카르보닐임]에 상응하는 것인, 제1항에 기재된 화학식(Ⅰ)의 화합물.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, R4는 C8- 내지 C15-알킬, C8-내지 C15-알콕시, C8- 내지 C15-알카노일, C8- 내지 C15-알카노일옥시 또는 C8- 내지 C15-알콕시카르보닐인 화합물.
  15. 제1항에 기재된 혼합물의, 액정 물질용 배향층, 광가교성 접착제, 액정 중합체 제조용 단량체, 키랄 화합물에 의해 도핑될 수 있는 중합성 액정계 제조용 기재 재료, 중합체 분산된 디스플레이용 중합체 매트릭스 단량체 및 광학 요소를 위한 중합성 액정 물질용 기재 재료로서의 용도.
  16. 중합성 키랄 화합물로 도핑된 제1항에 기재된 혼합물의, 착색 효과 물질 및 피에조 물질용 기재 재료로서의 용도.
