Claims (16)
- 내연 기관과,이 내연 기관으로부터 배출되는 배기 가스를 정화하는 촉매와,방열량이 큰 단면 구조의 배기 냉각 촉진부를 가지며, 상기 내연 기관으로부터 상기 촉매에 배기 가스를 유도하는 제 1 통로와,상기 제 1 통로의 배기 냉각 촉진부보다도 방열량이 작은 단면 구조를 이루며, 상기 내연 기관으로부터 상기 촉매에 배기 가스를 유도하는 제 2 통로와,상기 내연 기관으로부터 배출되는 배기 가스의 온도 강하를 촉진시켜 상기 촉매에 배기 가스를 흘려야 할 때에는 상기 제 2 통로보다도 상기 제 1 통로로 흐르는 배기 가스 유량을 많게 하며, 상기 내연 기관으로부터 배출되는 배기 가스의 온도 강하를 억제하여 상기 촉매에 배기 가스를 흘려야 할 때에는 상기 제 1 통로보다도 상기 제 2 통로로 흐르는 배기 가스 유량을 많게 하도록 상기 제 1 통로와 제 2 통로로 흐르는 배기 가스 유량을 제어하는 유량 제어 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 통로의 배기 냉각 촉진부는 단면 원호형상을 이루며, 상기 제 2 통로는 단면 원형을 이루는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 통로의 배기 냉각 촉진부는 상기 제 2 통로를 둘러싸도록 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 통로의 관로 길이와 제 2 통로의 관로 길이가 동일한 길이인 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 촉매는 린 공연비의 배기 가스 중의 NOx를 정화 가능한 린 NOx 촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 유량 제어 수단은 상기 촉매의 촉매 상온 또는 촉매 상온을 지배하는 파라미터에 의거하여 상기 제 1 통로와 상기 제 2 통로로 흐르는 배기 가스 유량을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 유량 제어 수단은 상기 촉매의 촉매 상온을 정화율이 높은 소정 온도 영역에서 제어하도록 상기 제 1 통로와 상기 제 2 통로로 흐르는 배기 가스 유량을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 유량 제어 수단은 상기 촉매에 흡수된 SOx를 방출시키는 S피독(S-poisoning) 회복 처리 시에, 상기 제 1 통로보다도 상기 제 2 통로로 흐르는 배기 가스 유량이 많아지도록 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 S피독 회복 처리 시에 상기 촉매에 유입하는 배기 가스의 공연비를 이론 공연비 또는 그것보다도 리치 공연비로 하는 배기 공연비 제어 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 유량 제어 수단은 상기 S피독 회복 처리 완료 직후, 제 1 통로로 흐르는 배기 가스 비율을 많이 하도록 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 통로에는 HC 흡착재가 설치되며, 상기 유량 제어 수단은 내연 기관 시동시에 배기 가스를 제 1 통로로 흘리도록 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 HC 흡착재는 상기 배기 냉각 촉진부보다도 하류에 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제 11 항에 있어서는, 상기 촉매는 산소 과잉 분위기에서 탄화 수소의 존재 하에서 NOx를 환원 또는 분해하는 선택 환원형 NOx 촉매이고, 상기 제 2 통로에는 유입하는 배기 가스의 공연비가 린일 때에 NOx를 흡수하여 유입하는 배기 가스 중의 산소 농도가 저하하면 흡수한 NOx를 방출하여 N2로 환원하는 흡장 환원형 NOx 촉매가 설치되며, 상기 유량 제어 수단은 내연 기관의 고부하 운전 시에 주로 상기 제 1 통로로 배기 가스가 흐르도록 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제 13 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 통로와 상기 제 2 통로의 상류로 이들 양 통로로 분류되기 전의 배기 가스가 흐르는 공통 통로를 구비하며, 이 공통 통로에도 산소 과잉 분위기에서 탄화 수소의 존재 하에서 NOx를 환원 또는 분해하는 선택 환원형 NOx 촉매가 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 통로에 있어서의 하류 부분과 상기 제 2 통로에 있어서의 하류 부분이 합류하는 합류 통로 또는 이 합류 통로보다도 하류의 배기 통로 또는 상기 촉매에 온도 검출 수단이 설치되며, 상기 유량 제어 수단을 작동시켜 제 1 통로와 제 2 통로로 흐르는 배기 가스의 유량비를 바꾸었을 때에 상기 온도 검출 수단으로 검출된 온도 변화에 의거하여 상기 유량 제어 수단 작동이 정상인지의 여부를 판정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 통로에서 배기 가스 압력을 검출하는 압력 검출 수단을 구비하며, 상기 유량 제어 수단을 작동시켜 제 1 통로와 제 2 통로로 흐르는 배기 가스의 유량비를 바꾸었을 때에 상기 압력 검출 수단으로 검출된 압력변화에 의거하여 상기 유량 제어 수단 작동이 정상인지의 여부를 판정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관의 배기 정화 장치.
