Description
【発明の詳細な説明】
〔産業上の利用分野〕
本発明は車両等のシートの製造方法に係り、特
に表皮材とクツシヨン材との一体形シートの製造
方法に関する。

従来、車両等のシートとしてクツシヨン材の表
面に表皮材を被着させた一体形シートを製造する
には所定形状に形成したクツシヨン材の表面に粘
着性接着材を塗布して表皮材を圧着してクツシヨ
ン材と表皮材を一体化する製造方法が採用されて
いる。

いる。
しかし、このような製造方法によるときは成形
装置が大形でかつ構成が複雑であるため設備費が
高く、しかも接着剤自体が高価でシート全体がコ
スト高になつており、またクツシヨン材に対する
接着剤の塗布工程にばらつきが生じて皮表材とク
ツシヨン材との間の非接着部により皮表材にしわ
や浮上り部が生じ易く、体裁はもとより座り心地
の点でも不具合がある。
装置が大形でかつ構成が複雑であるため設備費が
高く、しかも接着剤自体が高価でシート全体がコ
スト高になつており、またクツシヨン材に対する
接着剤の塗布工程にばらつきが生じて皮表材とク
ツシヨン材との間の非接着部により皮表材にしわ
や浮上り部が生じ易く、体裁はもとより座り心地
の点でも不具合がある。
本発明はかかる点に鑑みなされたもので表皮材
とクツシヨン材との接合を簡単にかつ確実に行な
え表皮材とクツシヨン材の一体形シートのコスト
の低減化を可能としたシートの製造方法を提供す
るものである。

本発明はシート11の表面形状の押圧面3aを
有し、発熱体7を内蔵し、プレスシリンダ装置2
により下圧動作される加熱上型3と中空状でクツ
シヨン材12を載置する上面5aに多数の通気孔
9を穿設し、中空部5bから外方へエアーを吸引
するようにした下型5とより成る押圧型装置1を
使用し、下型5上にクツシヨン材12を載置し、
このクツシヨン材12の表面側に熱可塑性樹脂繊
維から成る感熱性接着布13を重ねて下型5のエ
アーの吸引により、クツシヨン材12を下型5の
上面5a側に固定させると共に、感熱性接着布1
3をクツシヨン材12の表面に同一形状に定着さ
せ、その上から所要形状に裁断され、周縁にまち
14が縫着された表皮材15を加熱上型3により
加熱押圧し、感熱性接着布13を加熱溶融させて
この接着力により表皮材15をクツシヨン材12
の表面側に全面にわたつて所定形状で圧着させる
ことにより表皮材15とクツシヨン材12が一体
化したシート11を得る。

上面5a側に固定させると共に、感熱性接着布1
3をクツシヨン材12の表面に同一形状に定着さ
せ、その上から所要形状に裁断され、周縁にまち
14が縫着された表皮材15を加熱上型3により
加熱押圧し、感熱性接着布13を加熱溶融させて
この接着力により表皮材15をクツシヨン材12
の表面側に全面にわたつて所定形状で圧着させる
ことにより表皮材15とクツシヨン材12が一体
化したシート11を得る。
以下、本発明の一実施例を図面を参照して説明
する。

第1図は本発明に使用する押圧型装置のシート
成形状態における側断面図を示し、この押圧型装
置1はプレスシリンダ装置2に連結されて下圧動
作される加熱上型3と基台4に固定される下型5
から構成されている。加熱上型3は中空状で下面
即ち押圧面3aはシートの表面形状の凹凸面に形
成され、この押圧面3aに多数の通気孔6が穿設
されており、そしてこの上型3の中空部3b内に
おいて押圧面3aの内面側に沿うように電気発熱
線7が配設されて、このリード線7aが外部に導
出され、また中空部3bには外部から送気管8が
導入されている。

置1はプレスシリンダ装置2に連結されて下圧動
作される加熱上型3と基台4に固定される下型5
から構成されている。加熱上型3は中空状で下面
即ち押圧面3aはシートの表面形状の凹凸面に形
成され、この押圧面3aに多数の通気孔6が穿設
されており、そしてこの上型3の中空部3b内に
おいて押圧面3aの内面側に沿うように電気発熱
線7が配設されて、このリード線7aが外部に導
出され、また中空部3bには外部から送気管8が
導入されている。
一方、下型5も中空状に形成され、この上面5
aはほぼ平坦状で多数の通気孔9が穿設されてお
り、そして中空部5bから外方へ吸引管10が導
出されている。

次に以上のように構成される押圧型装置1の用
いてシート11を製造する工程について説明す
る。

先ず第1図Aに示すようにウレタン等の発泡材
料から所定形状に成形されたクツシヨン材12を
下型5の上面5aに載置し、このクツシヨン材1
2の表面側に例えばポリエチレン等の熱可塑性樹
脂繊維から形成される感熱性接着布13を重ね
る。そして下型5の中空部5bから吸引管10を
通してエアーaの吸引を行ない上面5aの通気孔
9からエアーaを吸込ませることによりクツシヨ
ン材12を下型5の上面5aに密接させて固定状
態に保持させると共に感熱性接着布13をクツシ
ヨン材12の表面側に定着させる。

下型5の上面5aに載置し、このクツシヨン材1
2の表面側に例えばポリエチレン等の熱可塑性樹
脂繊維から形成される感熱性接着布13を重ね
る。そして下型5の中空部5bから吸引管10を
通してエアーaの吸引を行ない上面5aの通気孔
9からエアーaを吸込ませることによりクツシヨ
ン材12を下型5の上面5aに密接させて固定状
態に保持させると共に感熱性接着布13をクツシ
ヨン材12の表面側に定着させる。
一方、加熱上型3の押圧面3aには周縁にまち
14が縫着された通気性を有する表皮材15をそ
の内面が下型5の上のクツシヨン材12と対応す
るようにセツトする。

そしてこの状態で加熱上型3の電気発熱線7に
リード線7aを通して通電し、押圧面3aを約
150℃に加熱させてこの加熱上型3を第1図Bに
示す如くプレスシリンダ装置2により下圧動作さ
せ表皮材15をクツシヨン材12の表面側に感熱
性接着布13を介して圧接させ、加熱上型3の下
圧状態を約20秒間持続することにより感熱性接着
布13は加熱されて溶融され、表皮材15はクツ
シヨン材12に圧着される。
リード線7aを通して通電し、押圧面3aを約
150℃に加熱させてこの加熱上型3を第1図Bに
示す如くプレスシリンダ装置2により下圧動作さ
せ表皮材15をクツシヨン材12の表面側に感熱
性接着布13を介して圧接させ、加熱上型3の下
圧状態を約20秒間持続することにより感熱性接着
布13は加熱されて溶融され、表皮材15はクツ
シヨン材12に圧着される。
この圧着後、即ち上述した約20秒間経過後加熱
上型3を上動復帰させることによりクツシヨン材
12に対する表皮材15の圧着作業が完了する。
この圧着作業の完了によりクツシヨン材12と表
皮材15は感熱性接着布13の部分が全て接着さ
れて一体化され第2図に示すシート11が得られ
る。

また、以上の圧着作業において加熱上型3の下
圧動作中に中空部3b内にスチームsを送気管8
を通して送り込み押圧面3aの通気孔6より噴出
させるとこのスチームsは表皮材15を通して感
熱性接着布13に滲透し、そのため感熱性接着布
13の溶融が促進されてクツシヨン材12と表皮
材15に対する接着効果が一層向上され、また表
皮材15の加熱による変質が防止されることにな
る。
圧動作中に中空部3b内にスチームsを送気管8
を通して送り込み押圧面3aの通気孔6より噴出
させるとこのスチームsは表皮材15を通して感
熱性接着布13に滲透し、そのため感熱性接着布
13の溶融が促進されてクツシヨン材12と表皮
材15に対する接着効果が一層向上され、また表
皮材15の加熱による変質が防止されることにな
る。
なお、押圧型装置1において加熱上型3の押圧
面3aの形状は図示のものに限ることなく製造す
べきシート11の表面形状により変えるものであ
る。

また加熱上型3に対する表皮材15のセツト保
持機構及び下型5に対するクツシヨン材12の保
持機構としては普通に用いられているものを適用
できるのでその説明及び図示は省略する。

以上のように本発明によればクツシヨン材を下
型に固定させると共に感熱性接着布をクツシヨン
材の表面に同一形状に定着させ、その上から表皮
材を加熱上型により加熱押圧することにより感熱
性接着布を溶融させて表皮材をクツシヨン材の表
面側に所定形状で接着しシートを一体的に成形す
るので表皮材とクツシヨン材とは満遍無く接着さ
れて確実に一体化され、仕上り及び耐久性等が向
上され、しかも製造工程においても接着剤の塗布
工程は必要なく工程が簡略化され、また圧着成形
装置は加熱押圧型を備えるだけでよく小形で簡単
に構成できて設備費が低減されると共に接着剤と
しての感熱性接着布は安価であり、シート全体の
コストの低廉化が可能となる等実用的効果が大で
ある。

製造に最適である。

12はクツシヨン材、13は感熱性接着布、15
は表皮材である。

Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1 シートの表面形状の押圧面を有する加熱上型
と、クツシヨン材を載置する載置面側からエアー
を吸引する下型とより成る押圧型を使用し、 上記下型の載置面側にクツシヨン材を載置し、
このクツシヨン材の表面側に熱可塑性樹脂繊維か
ら成る感熱性接着布を重ねて上記下型のエアーの
吸引により、上記クツシヨン材を上記下型の載置
面側に固定させると共に、上記感熱性接着布を上
記クツシヨン材の表面に同一形状に定着させ、 その上から表皮材を上記加熱上型により加熱押
圧し、上記感熱性接着布の溶融により上記表皮材
を上記クツシヨン材の表面側に所定形状で接着さ
せるようにしたことを特徴とするシートの製造方
法。
