Claims (14)
- 電子デバイスであって、
処理ユニットと、
メモリと、
触覚出力を生成するための、アクチュエータ質量体を備える触覚アクチュエータと、
を備え、
前記メモリは、前記触覚アクチュエータを駆動する複数の入力波形を生成するための命令を格納するよう動作可能であり、
前記アクチュエータ質量体は、前記触覚アクチュエータに入力として供給された前記複数の入力波形に応答して移動するよう動作可能であり、
各入力波形は、前記処理ユニットから受信された命令に応答して前記触覚アクチュエータへの入力として供給されたときに前記触覚アクチュエータに個々の触覚出力を生成させるよう動作可能であり、
前記処理ユニットは、異なるアラート状態のために前記複数の入力波形の異なる組み合わせを前記触覚アクチュエータに供給するよう動作可能であり、
前記複数の入力波形の組み合わせのうちの少なくとも一つの組み合わせは、
第1の駆動期間及び第1の制動期間を含む第1の入力波形及び当該第1の入力波形に続き、第1の入力波形とは異なる、第2の駆動期間及び第2の制動期間を含む第2の入力波形を含み、
前記第1の駆動期間は、前記触覚アクチュエータが前記アクチュエータ質量体を移動させる第1の波形部の前記触覚アクチュエータへの適用を規定し、
前記第1の制動期間は、前記触覚アクチュエータが前記アクチュエータ質量体の移動に抵抗する第2の波形部の前記触覚アクチュエータへの適用を規定し、
前記第2の駆動期間は、前記触覚アクチュエータが前記アクチュエータ質量体を移動させる第3の波形部の前記触覚アクチュエータへの適用を規定し、
前記第2の制動期間は、前記触覚アクチュエータが前記アクチュエータ質量体の移動に抵抗する第4の波形部の前記触覚アクチュエータへの適用を規定する、
電子デバイス。 - 前記複数の入力波形は、所定の入力波形のライブラリから選択される、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第1の駆動期間及び前記第1の制動期間は順次組み合わせられ、前記第2の駆動期間及び前記第2の制動期間は順次組み合わせられる、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第1の駆動期間及び前記第1の制動期間は第1の時間遅延が後に続き、前記第2の駆動期間及び前記第2の制動期間は第2の時間遅延が後に続く、請求項3に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第1及び第2の時間遅延はそれぞれ、前記駆動期間又は前記制動期間のタイプに少なくとも一部関連する、請求項4に記載の電子デバイス。
- 電子デバイスであって、
1つ以上の処理ユニットと、
メモリと、
触覚出力を生成するための、アクチュエータ質量体を備える触覚アクチュエータとを備え、
前記メモリは、前記触覚アクチュエータを駆動する複数の入力波形を生成するための命令を格納するよう動作可能であり、
前記アクチュエータ質量体は、前記1以上の処理ユニットから受信された命令に応答して前記触覚アクチュエータに入力として供給された前記複数の入力波形に応答して移動するよう動作可能であり、
各入力波形は、前記複数の入力波形における他の入力波形のものとは異なる変位プロフィールにしたがって前記触覚アクチュエータが前記アクチュエータ質量体を移動させるよう動作可能であり、
前記1以上の処理ユニットは、前記複数の入力波形から第1のアラート状態に応答して入力波形の第1の組み合わせを選択するよう動作可能であり、入力波形の前記第1の組み合わせは、前記1以上の処理ユニットによって前記メモリから選択され、
前記1以上の処理ユニットは、前記複数の入力波形から前記第1のアラート状態とは異なる第2のアラート状態に応答して入力波形の第2の組み合わせを選択するよう動作可能であり、入力波形の前記第2の組み合わせは、前記1以上の処理ユニットによって前記メモリから選択され、前記入力波形の第1の組み合わせと異なり、
前記入力波形の第1の組み合わせ又は前記入力波形の第2の組み合わせのうちの少なくとも1つは第1の駆動期間の及び第1の制動期間を含む第1の入力波形及び当該第1の入力波形に続き、第1の入力波形とは異なる、第2の駆動期間及び第2の制動期間を含む第2の入力波形を用いて形成され、
前記第1の駆動期間は、前記触覚アクチュエータが前記アクチュエータ質量体を移動させる第1の波形部の前記触覚アクチュエータへの適用を規定し、
前記第1の制動期間は、前記触覚アクチュエータが前記アクチュエータ質量体の移動に抵抗する第2の波形部を前記触覚アクチュエータへの適用を規定し、
前記第2の駆動期間は、前記触覚アクチュエータが前記アクチュエータ質量体を移動させる第3の波形部の前記触覚アクチュエータへの適用を規定し、
前記第2の制動期間は、前記触覚アクチュエータが前記アクチュエータ質量体の移動に抵抗する第4の波形部の前記触覚アクチュエータへの適用を規定する、
電子デバイス。 - 前記1以上の処理ユニット、前記メモリ、及び前記触覚アクチュエータを取り囲む筐体をさらに備え、
前記アクチュエータ質量体の動きは、前記筐体の動きを引き起こす、請求項6に記載の電子デバイス。 - 前記複数の入力波形から選択された入力波形に適用されるよう動作可能であり、前記入力波形の強度を制限するか、前記入力波形の振幅を修正するためのスケーリング関数を定めるエフェクタをさらに備え、
前記1以上の処理ユニットは、少なくとも部分的に前記エフェクタの角度又は曲率に基づく前記触覚アクチュエータへの入力を生成するために前記エフェクタを前記入力波形に適用するよう動作可能である、請求項6に記載の電子デバイス。 - 前記アクチュエータ質量体に対する前記変位プロフィールは、出力運動量波形に関連付けられている、請求項6に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記アクチュエータ質量体に対する前記変位プロフィールは、所定の持続時間内に前記アクチュエータ質量体が移動する距離、及び、
前記所定の持続時間内に前記アクチュエータ質量体が到達する運動量
の少なくとも1つを含む、請求項6に記載の電子デバイス。 - 触覚出力を生成するための方法であって、
第1のアラート状態を特定することと、
前記第1のアラート状態を特定することに応答して、非一時的な媒体に典型的態様で格納された複数の入力波形から第1の入力波形及び当該第1の入力波形とは異なる第2の入力波形を選択することと、
前記選択された第1の入力波形及び前記第2の入力波形を第1の電気的入力としてアクチュエータ質量体を有する触覚アクチュエータへ順次供給することと、
を含み、
各入力波形は、前記複数の入力波形における他の入力波形の変位プロフィールとは異なる各変位プロフィールにしたがって前記触覚アクチュエータが前記アクチュエータ質量体を移動させるよう動作可能であり、
前記第1の入力波形及び前記第2の入力波形の前記変位プロフィールにしたがう前記アクチュエータ質量体の移動が第1の触覚出力を生成し、
前記第1の入力波形は第1の駆動期間及び第1の制動期間を含み、前記第2の入力波形が続き、
前記第2の入力波形は第2の駆動期間及び第2の制動期間を含み、
前記第1の駆動期間は、前記触覚アクチュエータが前記アクチュエータ質量体を移動させる前記第1の波形部の前記触覚アクチュエータへの適用を規定し、
前記第1の制動期間は、前記触覚アクチュエータが前記アクチュエータ質量体の移動に抵抗する前記第2の波形部の前記触覚アクチュエータへの適用を規定し、
前記第2の駆動期間は、前記触覚アクチュエータが前記アクチュエータ質量体を移動させる第3の波形部の前記触覚アクチュエータへの適用を規定し、
前記第2の制動期間は、前記触覚アクチュエータが前記アクチュエータ質量体の移動に抵抗する第4の波形部の前記触覚アクチュエータへの適用を規定する、
方法。 - 前記方法は、
第2のアラート状態を特定することと、
前記第2のアラート状態を特定することに応答して、前記非一時的な媒体に典型的態様で格納された前記複数の入力波形から少なくとも2つの入力波形を特定することと、
第2の触覚出力を生成するために前記触覚アクチュエータが前記アクチュエータ質量体を移動させるように前記少なくとも2つの入力波形を第2の電気的入力として前記触覚アクチュエータへ供給することと、
をさらに備え、
前記少なくとも2つの入力波形のうちの少なくとも1つは、前記第1の入力波形又は前記第2の入力波形のいずれかであり、
前記少なくとも2つの入力波形のうちの少なくとも1つは、第3の入力波形であり、
前記第2の触覚出力は、前記第1の触覚出力と異なる、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記複数の入力波形のそれぞれは、最大許容振幅及び持続時間を規定し、
前記第2の触覚出力の形状は、順次取り込まれた前記第1の入力波形及び前記第2の入力波形の形状とは異なっている、請求項12に記載の方法。 - 前記第1のアラート状態は、第1の電子デバイスから第2の電子デバイスへの通信を含み、
前記第2の電子デバイスは、前記触覚アクチュエータを収容する、請求項11に記載の方法。
