Claims (7)
- 自動二輪車(1)のパワーユニット(P)の駆動力を、車体前後方向に延びるドライブシャフト(45)を介して後輪(WR)に伝達する自動二輪車の後輪制動装置において、
前記ドライブシャフト(45)は、前記パワーユニット(P)のケース部材(34)から車体後方側に突出する出力軸(42)の後端部にユニバーサルジョイント(43)を介して連結されるプロペラシャフト(46)を含み、
前記出力軸(42)に、ブレーキキャリパ(41)によって制動されるブレーキディスク(40)が取り付けられ、
前記パワーユニット(P)は、該パワーユニット(P)の上方で車体前後方向に延びる左右一対のメインフレーム(F2)を含んで構成される車体フレーム(F)に吊り下げられており、
前記ブレーキキャリパ(41)が、前記ブレーキディスク(40)の車体上方側に配設され、
前記メインフレーム(F2)の後方に、前記後輪(WR)を支持するスイングアーム(13)を揺動自在に軸支するピボット(12)が設けられたピボットフレーム(F3)が連結されており、
前記ブレーキキャリパ(41)が、前記ケース部材(34)と、前記メインフレーム(F2)と、前記ピボットフレーム(F3)とで囲まれた空間に配設されており、
前記ブレーキキャリパ(41)が、車幅方向右側の前記メインフレーム(F2)の下方に配設されていることを特徴とする自動二輪車の後輪制動装置。 - 前記ブレーキキャリパ(41)が、前記ケース部材(34)に設けられたブラケット(50)に固定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動二輪車の後輪制動装置。
- 前記ブレーキキャリパ(41)が、前記パワーユニット(P)の上面より下方に配設されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の自動二輪車の後輪制動装置。
- 前記ドライブシャフト(45)は、前記出力軸(42)と前記プロペラシャフト(46)とを連結するダンパユニット(44)を含み、
前記ダンパユニット(44)は、前記出力軸(42)から駆動力が伝達される外軸(61)と、該外軸(61)の駆動力を下流側に伝達する内軸(60)とを含み、
前記外軸(61)と前記内軸(60)との間にダンパ部材(62)が配設されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の自動二輪車の後輪制動装置。 - 前記ダンパ部材(62)のダンパ容量が、加速時に作用する正転側より、減速時に作用する逆転側の方が小さくなるように設定されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の自動二輪車の後輪制動装置。
- 前記出力軸(42)に、該記出力軸(42)と同期回転して前記ブレーキディスク(40)を冷却する冷却フィン(70)が取り付けられることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の自動二輪車の後輪制動装置。
- 前記ブレーキディスク(40)の車幅方向外側に、前記ブレーキディスク(40)を覆うカバー部材(95)が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の自動二輪車の後輪制動装置。
