Description
産業界においては、テキスタイルのような基材に対して耐久性ある撥水性特性を付与するための新規撥水性組成物を開発する継続的ニーズが存在する。
この目的は、少なくとも第一の成分(I)と第二の成分(II)とを含む組成物であって、前記第一の成分(I)は、ポリアクリレート(A1)及びワックス(B)を含み、そして前記第二の成分(II)は、フッ素含有ポリアクリレート(A2)、好ましくはパーフルオロアルキル基を含むアクリレート由来のポリアクリレートを含む組成物を用いて達成される。第一の成分(I)は少なくともポリアクリレート(A1)及びワックス(B)から製造され、ここでポリアクリレート(A1)は、2種の異なる(メタ)アクリレートを重合することによって、好ましくは水及び/又は有機溶媒中で重合することによって製造されるポリアクリレートである。
前記第二の成分(II)はポリアクリレート(A2)を含み、
ここでポリアクリレート(A1)は、(メタ)アクリル酸エステルモノマー(M1)及び(M2)、並びに場合により(M3)に由来する部位を含み、
(M1)はCH2=CR3COO−R1であり、
(M2)はCH2=CR3COO−R2であり、
(M3)はCH2=CR3−X−R4であり、
ここでR1は、1〜8個の炭素原子を含む、モノマー(M1)におけるアルコール部位であり;
R2は、9〜40個の炭素原子を含む、モノマー(M2)におけるアルコール部位であり;
R3は独立して、H、CH3、又はC2H5から選択され;
Xは、COO又はCONHであり;

を含み、そして第二の成分(II)は、第二の成分(II)の全量に対して10〜100重量%の(A2)を含む。
(M4)はCH2=CR6COO−Y−RFであり、
ここでRF−Yは、(メタ)アクリレートモノマー(M4)におけるアルコール部位であり、
ここで、Yは、−(CH2)m−であり、ここでmは1〜10の範囲の整数であり;そして

(C2) 工程(C1)で得られた混合物を重合して、第一の成分を提供する工程

- ポリアクリレート(A1)、ワックス(B)、並びに(D)及び(E)の少なくとも1つを含む第一の成分(I)と、ポリアクリレート(A2)を含む第二の成分(II)とを含む組成物であって、
(D)は有機ポリシロキサンであり、
(E)はメラミン樹脂であり、
ポリアクリレート(A1)は、(メタ)アクリル酸エステルモノマー(M1)及び(M2)に由来する部位からなるか、又は(M1)、(M2)及び(M3)に由来する部位からなり、
(M1)はCH2=CR3COO−R1であり、
(M2)はCH2=CR3COO−R2であり、
(M3)はCH2=CR3−X−R4であり、

- ワックス(B)は、60〜90℃の融点を有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- ワックス(B)はパラフィンワックスである、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記第一の成分(I)が、前記第一の成分(I)の全量(=100重量%)に対して、
10〜90重量%の(A1);
10〜90重量%の(B);
0〜40重量%の(C);
0〜40重量%の(D);
0〜40重量%の(E);
を含み、そして
前記第二の成分(II)が、前記第二の成分(II)の全量に対して、10〜100重量%の(A2)を含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。 - 前記第二の成分のポリアクリレート(A2)が、(メタ)アクリル酸エステルモノマー(M4)由来の部位を含み、
(M4)はCH2=CR6COO−Y−RFであり、
ここでRF−Yは、(メタ)アクリレートモノマー(M4)におけるアルコール部位であり、
ここで、Yは、−(CH2)m−であり、ここでmは1〜10の範囲の整数であり;そしてRFは、CxF2x+1であり、ここでxは1〜12の範囲の整数であり;
R6は、H、CH3、Cl、又はFから選択される、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。 - ポリアクリレート(A2)は、モノマー(M4)CH2=CR6COO−Y−RFの重合で得られる、請求項10に記載の組成物。
- ポリアクリレート(A2)は、モノマー(M4)と、追加のモノマー(M1)、(M2)、(M3)、(M4)、(V1)及び/又は(V2)の1種以上との重合で得られ、ここで(M1)、(M2)及び(M3)は、請求項1で定義した意味を有し、(V1)は塩化ビニルであり、(V2)は塩化ビニリデンである、請求項10又は11に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物は、前記組成物の全量(=100重量%)に対して、5〜90重量%の第一の成分(I)と、90〜5重量%の第二の成分(II)とを含む、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物は、前記成分(I)及び(II)の全量(=100重量%)に対して、10〜90重量%の第一の成分(I)と、90〜10重量%の第二の成分(II)とを含む、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物の固体含量は、前記組成物の全量(=100重量%)に対して、1〜60重量%の範囲である、請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 少なくとも工程(C3):
(C3) 第一の成分(I)を第二の成分(II)と混合すること
を含む、請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の組成物の製造方法。 - 工程(C3)よりも前に、少なくとも工程(C1)〜(C2):
(C1) モノマー(M1)及び(M2)、並びにワックス(B)、並びに水及び/又は有機溶媒を少なくとも含む混合物を均一化する工程;
(C2) 工程(C1)で得られた混合物を重合して、第一の成分を提供する工程
を含む、請求項16に記載の方法。 - 少なくとも工程(S1):
(S1) 基材を請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の組成物と接触させるか、又は基材を請求項16又は17に記載の方法に従って製造された組成物と接触させる工程を含む、基材の処理方法。 - 前記基材が、縫い糸、紡績糸、布地、編物地、節のある布地、不織布、フェルト、ホース並びに女性、男性及び子供用アウトウェアからなる群から選択されるか、あるいは前記基材は、テキスタイル、繊維、布地、紙、不織布、革、又はそれらの2種以上の組み合わせである、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載の成分(A1)、(B)及び(A2)を少なくとも含む、基材。
- 請求項18又は19に記載の方法によって処理された、請求項20に記載の基材。
- 前記基材は、縫い糸、紡績糸、布地、編物地、節のある布地、不織布、フェルト、ホース並びに女性、男性及び子供用アウトウェアからなる群から選択されるか、あるいは前記基材は、テキスタイル、繊維、布地、紙、不織布、革、又はそれらの2種以上の組み合わせである、請求項20又は21に記載の基材。
- 縫い糸、紡績糸、布地、編物地、節のある布地、不織布、フェルト、ホース並びに女性、男性及び子供用アウトウェアからなる群から選択される任意のテキスタイルの仕上げ時における、又は仕上げとしての、請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の組成物の使用。
