Description
Claims (19)
- 第1基板と、
前記第1基板と対向する第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に配置された液晶層と、
前記第1基板と前記液晶層との間に配置されたゲート線と、
前記第1基板と前記液晶層との間に配置されたデータ線と、
前記第1基板と前記液晶層との間に配置され、第2電極に基準電圧を伝達する基準電圧線と、
前記ゲート線と前記データ線とに接続された画素と、を含み、
前記画素は、
前記データ線の第1の部分に接続された薄膜トランジスタと、
前記薄膜トランジスタに接続される第1電極と、
前記第1電極と前記液晶層との間に配置された前記第2電極と、を含み、
前記第2電極は、
前記データ線と実質的に平行に配置された第1接続部と、
前記ゲート線と実質的に平行に配置され、前記第1接続部に接続された第2接続部と、
前記データ線と平面視において平行に配置された枝電極と、を含み、
前記枝電極は、第1部分と、
前記画素の中央部に位置し、前記第1部分に接続された第2部分と、
前記第1部分に接続された第3部分と、を含み、
前記第2部分は前記第1部分と第1角度を成し、
前記第3部分は前記第1部分と第2角度を成し、かつ、前記第2部分と第3角度を成し、
前記第1角度、前記第2角度、及び前記第3角度はそれぞれ異なる角度であり、
前記第2電極の第1接続部に形成され、前記データ線の第2の部分と重なる第2開口部を含み、
前記データ線は、前記データ線の前記第1の部分と平行でなく、前記枝電極の第1部分と平行である前記データ線の前記第2の部分を含み、
前記データ線と前記第1基板の間に配置され、前記データ線の前記第2の部分と重なる遮蔽電極をさらに含み、
前記データ線の幅は前記遮蔽電極の幅より狭く、
前記第2電極の前記第2開口部の幅は前記遮蔽電極の幅より狭く、
前記第2電極に形成され、前記薄膜トランジスタ及び前記データ線の前記第1の部分と重なる第1開口部を有することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1接続部は前記データ線の前記第2の部分と重なることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1電極は画素電極であり、前記第2電極は基準電極であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1電極は基準電極であり、前記第2電極は画素電極であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 複数の画素をさらに含み、
前記画素は前記ゲート線と前記データ線とに接続され、前記画素は緑色画素、赤色画素及び青色画素のうちの一つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記基準電圧線は前記ゲート線に隣接して配置され、前記赤色画素と前記青色画素のうちの少なくとも一つに接続された拡張部を有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 複数のゲート線をさらに含み、
前記基準電圧線は前記複数のゲート線のうちの隣接した二つのゲート線の間に配置され、前記緑色画素に接続された拡張部を有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記画素の前記第1電極は前記基準電圧線の前記拡張部と重なっていないことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記緑色画素の面積は、前記赤色画素の面積と前記緑色画素の面積のうちの少なくとも一つより小さいことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記基準電極と前記画素電極の間に配置された二重保護膜をさらに含み、
前記二重保護膜は、第1保護膜と、第2保護膜と、を含み、
前記第1保護膜の屈折率は前記第2保護膜の屈折率と異なることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1保護膜の窒素含有率は前記第2保護膜の窒素含有率と異なることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1保護膜の窒素含有率は前記第2保護膜の窒素含有率より大きいことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記二重保護膜の厚さは5500オングストローム以上6500オングストローム以下であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1保護膜の屈折率は1.4以上1.6以下であり、
前記第2保護膜の屈折率は1.6以上2.2以下であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記基準電極と前記画素電極の間に配置された二重保護膜をさらに含み、
前記二重保護膜は、第1保護膜と、第2保護膜と、を含み、
前記第1保護膜の屈折率は前記第2保護膜の屈折率と異なることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1保護膜の窒素含有率は前記第2保護膜の窒素含有率と異なることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1保護膜の窒素含有率は前記第2保護膜の窒素含有率より大きいことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記二重保護膜の厚さは5500オングストローム以上6500オングストローム以下であることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1保護膜の屈折率は1.4以上1.6以下であり、
前記第2保護膜の屈折率は1.6以上2.2以下であることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の液晶表示装置。
