Claims (20)
- タッチパネルであって、
第1基板と、
該第1基板と間隙を介して配置された、ユーザ接触面を有する第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間の間隙に満たされている電気粘性流体と、
前記ユーザ接触面に対する入力を感知し、該入力が起きる位置を判定する感知部と、
前記入力が生じる位置の周辺領域に対応する位置で、前記電気粘性流体の粘性を変化させる制御部と、
を含み、
前記タッチパネルは、タッチスクリーンとして電子機器のディスプレイに統合され、
前記制御部は、前記感知部で判定された入力位置のうちの最近入力位置に対する前記最近入力位置から所定の距離内にある前記タッチスクリーンの表示との距離を考慮して、前記電気粘性流体の粘性を変化させる、
タッチパネル。 - 前記制御部は、前記感知部で計算された入力位置に基づいて前記入力が連続入力であるか否かを判定し、前記入力が連続入力と判定される場合に、前記最近入力位置の周辺領域に対応する位置で、前記電気粘性流体の粘度が変化するように制御する、
請求項1に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記制御部は、前記周辺領域に対応する位置で、前記電気粘性流体の粘度が、前記連続入力の経路に沿って増加するように制御する第1方法、前記連続入力の経路に沿って減少するように制御する第2方法、前記連続入力の経路に沿って一定に維持されるように制御する第3方法、及び前記連続入力の経路に沿って増減が反復されるように制御する第4方法のうちで選択された一つの方法または二つ以上の方法の組合せを使用して制御を行う、
請求項2に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記制御部は、前記最近入力位置にある電気粘性流体の粘度を基準に、前記周辺領域に対応する位置で前記電気粘性流体の粘度を変化させて制御を行う、
請求項2又は3に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記制御部が制御を行う時に使う方法は、前記ユーザによって選択が可能である、
請求項3に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記第1基板と前記第2基板とに備えられた、該第1基板と該第2基板との間に局部的に電場を誘導する駆動電極対のアレイをさらに含み、
前記制御部は、前記駆動電極対によって駆動電圧が印加される位置及び印加される該駆動電圧の大きさを制御する、
請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネル。 - タッチパネルであって、
第1基板と、
前記第1基板と所定間隔を介して配置された、ユーザ接触面を有する第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板とに備えられており、駆動電圧が印加されれば、該第1基板と該第2基板との間に局部的に電場を誘導する駆動電極対のアレイと、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間の間隙に満たされており、前記駆動電極対によって誘導された電場によって粘度が変化する電気粘性流体と、
前記ユーザ接触面を通してユーザからの連続入力が感知されると、該連続入力が感知された位置のうち最近入力位置の周辺領域に対応する位置にある前記駆動電極対に所定のパターンの駆動電圧を印加する制御部と、
を含み、
前記タッチパネルは、タッチスクリーンとして電子機器のディスプレイに統合され、
前記制御部は、前記最近入力位置に対する、前記最近入力位置から所定の距離内にある前記タッチスクリーンの表示との距離を考慮して、前記駆動電圧の大きさを制御する、
タッチパネル。 - 前記所定のパターンは、印加される前記駆動電圧が、前記連続入力の経路に沿って増加する第1パターン、前記連続入力の経路に沿って減少する第2パターン、前記連続入力の経路に沿って一定に維持される第3パターン、及び前記連続入力の経路に沿って増減が反復される第4パターンのうちから選択された一つのパターンまたは二つ以上のパターンの組合わせである、
請求項7に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記制御部は、前記最近入力位置にある駆動電極対に加えられた駆動電圧の大きさを基準に、前記周辺領域にある駆動電極対に加えられる駆動電圧の大きさを変化させて、前記駆動電圧を増加させるか、減少させる、
請求項8に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記所定のパターンは、前記ユーザによって選択が可能である、
請求項8又は9に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記第4パターンは、前記駆動電圧が前記連続入力の移動経路に沿って正弦波形またはパルス波形で増加するか、減少する、
請求項8乃至10のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記正弦波または前記パルス波の振幅と周波数のうちの少なくとも一つは、可変である、
請求項11に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記タッチスクリーンの表示は、前記タッチスクリーンに表示されているオブジェクトである、
請求項7乃至12のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記制御部は、前記最近入力位置が前記オブジェクトに近くなるほど前記駆動電圧の大きさが大きくなり、前記オブジェクトに到逹する直前に最大になるように、該駆動電圧の大きさを制御する、
請求項13に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記タッチスクリーンの表示は、前記タッチスクリーンに表示されているウィンドウ境界である、
請求項7乃至12のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記制御部は、前記最近入力位置が前記ウィンドウ境界に近くなるほど前記駆動電圧が増加または減少し、前記ウィンドウ境界に到逹する直前に最大または最小になるように、前記駆動電圧の大きさを制御する、
請求項15に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記タッチスクリーンには、スクロールバーが表示され、前記連続入力は、前記スクロールバーを移動させる入力である、
請求項7乃至12のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記周辺領域にある駆動電極対に印加される前記駆動電圧は、パルス波形で印加され、前記制御部は、前記タッチスクリーンで前記スクロールバーが移動することができるウィンドウ内での位置を考慮して、前記駆動電圧の大きさを制御する、
請求項17に記載のタッチパネル。 - 請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネルをユーザ入力装置として備える電子機器。
- 請求項7乃至18のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネルをユーザ入力装置として備える電子機器。
