Claims (19)
- 第1基板と、
前記第1基板と間隙(gap)をおいて離隔して配されており、ユーザ接触面(user touch surface)を有する第2基板と、
前記第1基板と第2基板とに備えられており、駆動電圧が印加されれば、前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に局部的に電場を誘導する駆動電極対のアレイ(array of driving electrodes’ pairs)と、
前記第1及び第2基板間の間隙に満たされており、前記駆動電極対によって誘導された電場によって粘度が変化する電気粘性流体と、
前記第1基板と第2基板との間の間隙に配置されるとともに、復元力及び構造的支持を前記第2基板に提供するように構成された複数のスペーサと、
を含み、
前記駆動電圧の印加または解除を調節して、作動力と復帰力とのうち少なくとも一つが変更されうることを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 前記駆動電極対のアレイのうち駆動電圧が印加される駆動電極対の位置と個数とのうち少なくとも一つが調節されうることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチパネル。
- 前記駆動電圧が印加された駆動電極対のうち、前記駆動電圧が解除される駆動電極対の位置と個数とのうち少なくとも一つが調節されうることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のタッチパネル。
- 前記ユーザ接触面に対するユーザの加圧による前記間隙の大きさ変化を用いて、前記ユーザからの入力があるかどうかを判定する制御器をさらに含み、
前記入力があると判定する基準となる前記大きさ変化の値は調節されうることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記駆動電圧が印加された駆動電極対のうち、前記駆動電圧が解除される駆動電極対の位置と個数とのうち少なくとも一つが調節されうることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のタッチパネル。
- 前記作動力または前記復帰力は、調整されうることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチパネル。
- 第1基板と第2基板との間の間隙に電気粘性流体(electro−rheological fluid)が満たされており、駆動電圧が印加されれば、前記間隙に局部的に電場を誘導する駆動電極対のアレイが、前記第1基板及び第2基板に配列されているタッチパネル本体(touch panel body)と、
前記タッチパネル本体の作動力が変更されるように、前記駆動電極対のアレイのうち、前記駆動電圧が印加される駆動電極対の位置と個数とのうち少なくとも一つを調節する制御部と、
前記第1基板と第2基板との間の間隙に配置されるとともに、復元力及び構造的支持を前記第2基板に提供するように構成された複数のスペーサと、
を含むことを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 前記駆動電極対のアレイは、一つの入力ボタン領域を限定する複数の駆動電極対で構成された駆動電極対グループを一つまたは複数個含み、
前記制御部は、前記駆動電極対グループを構成する複数の駆動電極対のうち、前記駆動電圧が印加される駆動電極対の位置と個数とのうち少なくとも一つを調節することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記間隙の大きさ変化を用いて、上部基板のユーザ接触面にユーザからの入力があるかどうかを判定する感知部(sensing unit)をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載のタッチパネル。
- 前記感知部で、前記入力があると判定する前記間隙の大きさ変化の値は調節されうることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のタッチパネル。
- 前記制御部は、前記タッチパネル本体の復帰力が変更されるように、前記駆動電圧が印加された駆動電極対のうち、前記駆動電圧が解除される駆動電極対の位置と個数とのうち少なくとも一つを調節することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のタッチパネル。
- 前記間隙の大きさ変化を用いて、上部基板のユーザ接触面にユーザからの入力があるかどうかを判定する感知部をさらに含み、
前記感知部で、前記入力があると判定する前記間隙の大きさ変化の値は調節されうることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のタッチパネル。 - 第1基板と第2基板との間の間隙に電気粘性流体が満たされており、駆動電圧が印加されれば、前記間隙に局部的に電場を誘導する駆動電極対のアレイが、前記第1基板及び第2基板に配列されているタッチパネル本体と、
前記間隙の大きさ変化を用いて、前記第1基板のユーザ接触面にユーザからの入力があるかどうかを判定する感知部と、
前記第1基板と第2基板との間の間隙に配置されるとともに、復元力及び構造的支持を前記第2基板に提供するように構成された複数のスペーサと、
を含み、
前記感知部で、前記入力があると判定する前記間隙の大きさ変化の値は調節されうることを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 前記タッチパネル本体の作動力が変更されるように、前記駆動電極対のアレイのうち、前記駆動電圧が印加される駆動電極対の位置と個数とのうち少なくとも一つを調節する第1制御部をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載のタッチパネル。
- 前記駆動電極対のアレイは、一つの入力ボタン領域を限定する複数の駆動電極対で構成された駆動電極対グループを一つまたは複数個含み、
前記第1制御部は、前記駆動電極対グループを構成する複数の駆動電極対のうち、前記駆動電圧が印加される駆動電極対の位置と個数とのうち少なくとも一つを調節することを特徴とする請求項14に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記タッチパネル本体の復帰力が変更されるように、前記駆動電圧が印加された駆動電極対のうち、前記駆動電圧が解除される駆動電極対の位置と個数とのうち少なくとも一つを調節する第2制御部をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載のタッチパネル。
- 請求項1に記載のタッチパネルをユーザ入力装置として備える電子機器。
- 請求項7に記載のタッチパネルをユーザ入力装置として備える電子機器。
- 請求項13に記載のタッチパネルをユーザ入力装置として備える電子機器。
