Description
(S1)気孔を有する多孔性基材を用意するステップと、
(S2)無機物粒子が分散しており、第1バインダー高分子が第1溶媒に溶解されたスラリーを上記多孔性基材の少なくとも一面上にコーティングするステップと、
(S3)上記コーティングされたスラリーの上に第2バインダー高分子が第2溶媒に溶解されたバインダー溶液をコーティングするステップと、
(S4)上記第1溶媒及び第2溶媒を同時に乾燥処理して、上記第2溶媒が乾燥されながら形成された気孔を含み第2バインダー高分子からなった多孔性高分子の外郭層が形成されるようにし、上記第1溶媒が乾燥されながら無機物粒子が第1バインダー高分子によって相互連結及び固定され、且つ、無機物粒子同士の間に存在するインタースティシャル・ボリュームによって形成された気孔を含む多孔性有機無機複合内部層が形成されるようにするステップと、を含む。
PVdF‐CTFE(ポリフッ化ビニリデン‐クロロトリフルオロエチレン共重合体)及びシアノエチルプルランを10:2の重量比でそれぞれアセトンに添加し、50℃で約12時間以上溶解させて高分子溶液を製造した。製造した高分子溶液に、BaTiO3粉末を高分子混合物/活性炭素粉末が10/90の重量比になるように添加し、12時間以上ボールミル法を用いて無機物粒子を破砕及び分散することでスラリーを製造した。このように製造したスラリーの無機物粒子の粒径は平均600nmであった。
最終的に形成された多孔性高分子外郭層のローディング量が0.6g/m2になるように高分子溶液のローディング量を変更したことを除いては、実施例1と同一の方法でセパレータを完成した。
多孔性基材にスラリーをコーティングした後溶媒を乾燥させてから、高分子溶液をコーティングして乾燥させたことを除いては、実施例1と同一の方法でセパレータを完成した。
Claims (15)
- (S1)不織布ではない、ポリオレフィン系多孔性膜である、気孔を有する多孔性基材を用意するステップと、
(S2)無機物粒子が分散しており、第1バインダー高分子が第1溶媒に溶解されたスラリーを前記多孔性基材の少なくとも一面上にコーティングするステップと、
(S3)前記コーティングされたスラリーの上に、粒子を包含せず、第2バインダー高分子が第2溶媒に溶解されたバインダー溶液をコーティングするステップと、及び
(S4)前記第1溶媒及び前記第2溶媒を同時に乾燥処理して、前記第2溶媒が乾燥されながら形成された気孔を含み第2バインダー高分子からなった多孔性高分子の外郭層が形成されるようにし、前記第1溶媒が乾燥されながら無機物粒子が第1バインダー高分子によって相互連結及び固定され、且つ、無機物粒子同士の間に存在するインタースティシャル・ボリュームによって形成された気孔を含む多孔性有機無機複合内部層が形成されるようにするステップとを含んでなる、セパレータの製造方法。 - 前記多孔性基材の厚さが1μmないし100μmである、請求項1に記載のセパレータの製造方法。
- 前記無機物粒子の平均粒径が0.001μmないし10μmである、請求項1又は2に記載のセパレータの製造方法。
- 前記無機物粒子が、誘電率定数が5以上の無機物粒子、リチウムイオン伝達能力を有する無機物粒子、及びこれらの混合物からなる群より選択された無機物粒子である、請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載のセパレータの製造方法。
- 前記誘電率定数が5以上の無機物粒子が、BaTiO3、Pb(Zr,Ti)O3(PZT)、Pb1−xLaxZr1−yTiyO3(PLZT、ここで、0<x<1、0<y<1)、Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3‐PbTiO3(PMN‐PT)、ハフニア(HfO2)、SrTiO3、SnO2、CeO2、MgO、NiO、CaO、ZnO、ZrO2、SiO2、Y2O3、Al2O3、SiC及びTiO2からなる群より選択されたいずれか1つの無機物粒子またはこれらの2種以上の混合物である、請求項4に記載のセパレータの製造方法。
- 前記リチウムイオン伝達能力を有する無機物粒子が、リチウムホスフェート(Li3PO4)、リチウムチタンホスフェート(LixTiy(PO4)3、0<x<2、0<y<3)、リチウムアルミニウムチタンホスフェート(LixAlyTiz(PO4)3、0<x<2、0<y<1、0<z<3)、(LiAlTiP)xOy系列ガラス(0<x<4、0<y<13)、リチウムランタンチタネート(LixLayTiO3、0<x<2、0<y<3)、リチウムゲルマニウムチオホスフェート(LixGeyPzSw、0<x<4、0<y<1、0<z<1、0<w<5)、リチウムナイトライド(LixNy、0<x<4、0<y<2)、SiS2(LixSiySz、0<x<3、0<y<2、0<z<4)系列ガラス及びP2S5(LixPySz、0<x<3、0<y<3、0<z<7)系列ガラスからなる群より選択されたいずれか1つの無機物粒子またはこれらの2種以上の混合物である、請求項4に記載のセパレータの製造方法。
- 前記無機物粒子と第1バインダー高分子との重量比が50:50ないし99:1である、請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載のセパレータの製造方法。
- 前記第1バインダー高分子及び第2バインダー高分子の溶解度指数が相互に独立して、それぞれ15ないし45Mpa1/2である、請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載のセパレータの製造方法。
- 前記第1バインダー高分子及び第2バインダー高分子が、相互に独立して、それぞれポリフッ化ビニリデン‐ヘキサフルオロプロピレン、ポリフッ化ビニリデン‐トリクロロエチレン、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリブチルアクリレート、ポリアクリロニトリル、ポリビニルピロリドン、ポリビニルアセテート、エチレンビニルアセテート共重合体、ポリエチレンオキサイド、ポリアリレート、セルロースアセテート、セルロースアセテートブチレート、セルロースアセテートプロピオネート、シアノエチルプルラン、シアノエチルポリビニルアルコール、シアノエチルセルロース、シアノエチルスクロース、プルラン及びカルボキシルメチルセルロースからなる群より選択されたいずれか1つのバインダー高分子またはこれらの2種以上の混合物である、請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載のセパレータの製造方法。
- 前記第1溶媒及び第2溶媒が、相互に独立して、それぞれアセトン、テトラヒドロフラン、メチレンクロライド、クロロホルム、ジメチルホルムアミド、N‐メチル‐2‐ピロリドン(NMP)、シクロヘキサン及び水からなる群より選択されたいずれか1つの溶媒またはこれらの2種以上の混合物である、請求項1〜9の何れか一項に記載のセパレータの製造方法。
- 前記バインダー溶液内の第2バインダー高分子の含量が0.1ないし30重量%である、請求項1〜10の何れか一項に記載のセパレータの製造方法。
- 前記バインダー溶液のローディング量が、前記第2バインダー高分子からなる多孔性高分子の外郭層が0.1g/m2ないし3.0g/m2に形成されるように調節されてなる、請求項1〜11の何れか一項に記載のセパレータの製造方法。
- 請求項1〜12の何れか一項に記載のセパレータの製造方法によって製造された、セパレータ。
- 電気化学素子の製造方法であって、
セパレータを請求項1〜12の何れか一項に記載の製造方法によって製造し、
正極と負極との間に前記セパレータを介在させてラミネーティングするステップを含んでなる、電気化学素子の製造方法。 - 前記電気化学素子がリチウム二次電池である、請求項14に記載の電気化学素子の製造方法。
