Description
本発明は、様々な基材、特に自動車エアバックに良好に接着する硬化性被覆組成物に関する。ナイロン6、ナイロン46及びナイロン66等のポリアミド繊維;p−フェニレンテレフタルアミドと芳香族エーテルとのコポリマー等のアラミド繊維;ポリアルキレンテレフタレート等のポリエステル繊維;芳香族ポリエステル繊維;ビニロン繊維;レーヨン繊維;超高分子量ポリエチレン等のポリオレフィン繊維;ポリオキシメチレン繊維;p−フェニレンスルホン及びポリスルホン等のスルホン繊維;ポリエーテルイミド繊維;並びに炭素繊維製の織物から成る繊維ベース布(fiber base cloths)等の合成繊維材料への適用に特に適している。ポリアミド繊維製の織物やポリエステル繊維製の織物が好ましい。
従って、本発明は、(i)アクリロキシ官能性アルコキシシラン又はメタクリロキシ官能性アルコキシシラン、(ii)式Ti(OR”) 4 (式中、R”はアルキル基、アルコキシアルキル基、アシル基又はそれらの組み合わせである)により表される有機チタン化合物、(iii)アルケニル官能性シラノール末端オルガノポリシロキサン、(iv)アルミニウムアセチルアセトナト、ジルコニウムアセチルアセトナト及び鉄アセチルアセトナトからなる群より選択される金属キレート化合物、並びに(v)エポキシ官能性アルコキシシランを含む接着促進添加剤組成物に関する。
また、本発明は、(A)ヒドロシリル化反応により硬化可能な組成物、(B)前記ヒドロシリル化反応の抑制剤、(C)シリコーン樹脂、(D)前記接着促進添加剤組成物、(E)フィラー、及び(F)環状アルケニル基含有ポリシロキサンを含む硬化性被覆組成物に関する。
本発明による硬化性被覆組成物の成分(A)は、ヒドロシリル化反応により硬化可能な組成物である。有効な組成物は、当該技術分野においてよく知られている。ヒドロシリル化反応により硬化可能な組成物(A)は、3つの成分(i)〜(iii)を含む。ヒドロシリル化反応により硬化可能な組成物(A)の成分(i)は、1分子あたりケイ素結合アルケニル基を少なくとも2つ有するオルガノポリシロキサンである。ヒドロシリル化反応により硬化可能な組成物(A)の成分(ii)は、1分子あたりケイ素結合水素原子を少なくとも3つ有するオルガノハイドロジェンシロキサンである。ヒドロシリル化反応により硬化可能な組成物(A)の成分(iii)は、貴金属触媒である。
表1に示す量で成分A〜Fを混合することにより、完全に処方された硬化性被覆組成物を調製した。かかる組成物を合成繊維材料に適用し、熱の適用により硬化させた。次いで、もみサイクル(Crease Flex Cycles)の数を決定するもみ試験(Crease Flex Test)による合成繊維材料に対する組成物の接着について、被覆合成繊維材料を試験した。もみ試験プロトコル及び試験結果は、以下の実施例で示す。
比較例1を繰返し、表2〜6に示される量で成分A〜Fを混合することにより、完全に処方された5つの硬化性被覆組成物を調製した。かかる組成物を合成繊維材料に適用し、硬化させ、接着について試験した。
上記で調製された被覆合成繊維材料における破壊(failure)までのもみサイクルを測定する試験プロトコルは、ニューヨーク州ロンコンコマにあるテスティング・マシーンズ・インコーポレイテッド(Test Machines Incorporated)により販売され、日本の東京にある株式会社東洋精機製作所により製造されているスコット(Scott)No.363型の曲げ及び摩耗試験機(Folding and Abrasion Tester)を用いて行った。この試験は、合成繊維材料、ゴム及び布の曲げ摩耗や、曲げ疲労に対する抵抗性を測定する産業において広く使用されている。標準的な試験プロトコルによれば、25mm×120mmの二つの被覆織物試験片を、被覆側を向かい合わせて一緒に配置した。曲げの往復距離を5cmに設定した。試験片を試験クランプ内に配置し、適用圧力を1kgに調整した。試験は、曲げのサイクルの数を測定する。サイクルの数は、ナイロン織物に適用された被覆組成物の接着が失われる破壊点まで数えられた。
Claims (10)
- (i)アクリロキシ官能性アルコキシシラン又はメタクリロキシ官能性アルコキシシラン、(ii)式Ti(OR”) 4 (式中、R”はアルキル基、アルコキシアルキル基、アシル基又はそれらの組み合わせである)により表される有機チタン化合物、(iii)アルケニル官能性シラノール末端オルガノポリシロキサン、(iv)アルミニウムアセチルアセトナト、ジルコニウムアセチルアセトナト及び鉄アセチルアセトナトからなる群より選択される金属キレート化合物、並びに(v)エポキシ官能性アルコキシシランを含む接着促進添加剤組成物。
- 前記(i)アクリロキシ官能性アルコキシシランが、3−アクリロキシプロピルジメチルメトキシシラン、3−アクリロキシプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、3−アクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、メタクリロキシメチルジメチルエトキシシラン、メタクリロキシメチルトリエトキシシラン、メタクリロキシメチルトリメトキシシラン、メタクリロキシプロピルジメチルエトキシシラン、メタクリロキシプロピルジメチルメトキシシラン、メタクリロキシプロピルメチルジエトキシシラン、メタクリロキシプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、メタクリロキシプロピルトリエトキシシラン、メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、メタクリロキシプロピルトリスイソプロポキシシラン、及びメタクリロキシプロピルトリスメトキシエトキシシランからなる群より選択される請求項1に記載の接着促進添加剤組成物。
- 前記(iii)アルケニル官能性シラノール末端オルガノポリシロキサンが、式H−(OSiR2 2)m(OSiR2R’)n−OH(式中、R2は、1〜8個の炭素原子を有するアルキル基又は6〜8個の炭素原子を有するアリール基であり;R’は、2〜8個の炭素原子を有する一価の不飽和炭化水素基であり;m及びnはそれぞれ1〜6である)を有する請求項1又は2に記載の接着促進添加剤組成物。
- 前記(v)エポキシ官能性アルコキシシランが、2−(3,4−エポキシシクロヘキシル)エチルトリエトキシシラン、2−(3,4−エポキシシクロヘキシル)エチルトリメトキシシラン、5,6−エポキシヘキシルトリエトキシシラン、3−グリシドキシプロピルジメチルエトキシシラン、3−グリシドキシプロピルメチルジエトキシシラン、3−グリシドキシプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、3−グリシドキシプロピルトリエトキシシラン、及び3−グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシランからなる群より選択される請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の接着促進添加剤組成物。
- (A)ヒドロシリル化反応により硬化可能な組成物、
(B)前記ヒドロシリル化反応の抑制剤、
(C)シリコーン樹脂、
(D)請求項1に記載の接着促進添加剤組成物
(E)フィラー、及び
(F)環状アルケニル基含有ポリシロキサン
を含む硬化性被覆組成物。 - 前記環状アルケニル基含有ポリシロキサンが、1,3,5−トリビニル−1,3,5−トリメチルシクロトリシロキサン、1,3,5,7−テトラビニル−1,3,5,7−テトラメチルシクロテトラシロキサン、ペンタビニルペンタメチルシクロペンタシロキサン、及び1,3,5,7−テトラ−アリル−1,3,5,7−テトラメチルシクロテトラシロキサンからなる群より選択される請求項5に記載の硬化性被覆組成物。
- 前記組成物の総重量を基準として、0.01〜2.00重量%の前記アクリロキシ官能性アルコキシシラン又はメタクリロキシ官能性アルコキシシラン、0.01〜3.00重量%の前記アルケニル官能性シラノール末端オルガノポリシロキサン、0.20〜2.00重量%の前記エポキシ官能性アルコキシシラン、及び0.01〜0.05重量%の前記環状アルケニル基含有ポリシロキサンを含有する請求項5又は6に記載の硬化性被覆組成物。
- 請求項5、6又は7に記載の硬化性被覆組成物で被覆された合成繊維材料。
- 請求項5に記載の硬化性被覆組成物を合成繊維材料に適用すること、及び前記硬化性被覆組成物を硬化させることを含む合成繊維材料の被覆方法。
- 前記硬化性被覆組成物が、前記組成物の総重量を基準として、0.01〜2.00重量%の前記アクリロキシ官能性アルコキシシラン又はメタクリロキシ官能性アルコキシシラン、0.01〜3.00重量%の前記アルケニル官能性シラノール末端オルガノポリシロキサン、0.20〜2.00重量%の前記エポキシ官能性アルコキシシラン、及び0.01〜0.05重量%の前記環状アルケニル基含有ポリシロキサンを含有する請求項9に記載の合成繊維材料の被覆方法。
