Description
(a)ルテニウム、ロジウム、鉄、オスミウムまたはパラジウム、および
(b)有機ホスフィン、
を含む触媒の存在下で、水素化する均一系プロセスであって、1重量%を超える水の存在下で、水素化を実施することを含むプロセスが提供される。
(a)ルテニウム、ロジウム、鉄、オスミウムまたはパラジウム、および
(b)有機ホスフィン
を含む触媒を再生する方法であって、水素および水の存在下で、好ましくは水性ガスシフト反応を介して、再生を実施することを含む方法を提供するものである。
これは、マレイン酸を水の存在下で、うまく水素化できることを示すものである。
これは、反応の活性維持に対する水の存在が不十分である場合の影響を示す。
これは、水が存在しないと、単離された固体は、還元に対して活性でないこと、特に水を加えないと、不活性化された触媒[Ru(トリホス)(CO)H2]が全く不活性であることを示す。
これらは、水の存在下での、エステルの水素化を示す。これらの実施例は、水の存在下では、エステル水素化は、100%転化率で効率的に進行することを示す。
これは、水を用いることによる、不活性化された触媒の再活性化を示す。特に不活性化された触媒についての水の効果は、化学種の性質に変化を生じさせることおよび二酸化炭素を放出させることにあることを示している。
これは、反応を維持するのに十分な水をその場で生成する、単純な(プロピオン)酸の直接水素化を示す。これはさらに、触媒をその場で再活性化させながら、反応で生成された水で、酸を直接水素化することができることを示している。
これは、フマル酸の水素化に関し、他の二酸も水素化できることを示す。
これは、酪酸の直接水素化を示す。また、有機酸を水素化できることも示している。
これは、溶媒の存在下で、酸の直接水素化を示す。
これは、本発明にしたがった無水物の直接水素化を示す。
これは、本発明にしたがったアミドの直接水素化を示す。また、触媒は、アンモニアおよびアミンなどの窒素含有化合物の存在下で、安定であることを示す。
これらは、トリス−1,1,1−ジフェニルホスフィノメチル)エタンがこれらの条件下で好ましいホスフィン化合物であるが、他のホスフィンも適していることを示している。
これは、本発明の好ましい条件下で、ホスフィンと強酸促進剤とを含む触媒系は、不適当であることを示している。これは、これらの状態下で、強酸が反応に有害であることを示し、強酸それ自体は、還元される。
これは、好ましい反応状態下で、強酸のナトリウム塩の添加が有害であり、転化率と選択性は共に低減することを示している。2モル当量のp−トルエンスルホン酸ナトリウムを加えた以外は、実施例1を繰り返した。反応の終わりに、白色固体(コハク酸、13.9g)を回収し、液体生成物(82.5g)をガスクロマトグラフィで分析して、水(95.90)、プロパノ−ル(0.10)、テトラヒドロフラン(0.09)、プロピオン酸(1.478)、γ−ブチロラクトン(1.67)、ブタンジオ−ル(0.38)であることが分かり(WT%)、テトラヒドロフランについて2.43%、γ−ブチロラクトンについて38.25%、およびブタンジオ−ルについて8.26%の全選択率を得た。転化率は、33.49モル%に低下した。
これは、触媒の再利用に関し、ルテニウム−ホスフィン触媒の再利用性を示す。
Claims (15)
- カルボン酸および/またはその誘導体を、
(a)ルテニウム、および
(b)三座ホスフィン
を含む触媒の存在下で、水素化する均一系プロセスであって、少なくとも1重量%の水の存在下で、水素化を実施することを含むプロセス。 - カルボン酸および/またはその誘導体が、溶媒として存在する請求項1に記載の均一系プロセス。
- 溶媒が存在し、および添加剤としてその中に水が存在する請求項1に記載の均一系プロセス。
- 水が、1%から溶媒中の水の溶解限度までの量で存在する請求項3に記載の均一系プロセス。
- 水が、溶媒中の水の溶解限度より多量に存在し、過剰の水が水相を形成する請求項3に記載の均一系プロセス。
- 水を、その場で発生させる請求項1に記載の均一系プロセス。
- 反応の生成物が、溶媒を形成する請求項2に記載の均一系プロセス。
- 水が、反応に対する溶媒である請求項1に記載の均一系プロセス。
- 触媒系のホスフィン成分がトリス−1,1,1−(ジフェニルホスフィノメチル)エタンである請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の均一系プロセス。
- 助触媒なしに、反応を実施する請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の均一系プロセス。
- ハロゲン化物なしに、反応を実施する請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の均一系プロセス。
- 反応温度が、150℃から350℃の範囲である請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の均一系プロセス。
- 反応圧力が、1.724×106Pa(250psig)から1.379×107Pa(2000psig)の範囲である請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の均一系プロセス。
- 反応圧力が、5.516×106Pa(800psig)から8.274×106Pa(1200psig)である請求項13に記載の均一系プロセス。
- 触媒を水および水素の存在下で、再生する請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載の均一系プロセス。
