Claims (3)
- 外部のグラフィックソースからそれぞれ2進nビットの階調値で構成されるRGBデータを受信する第1段階と、
前記RGBデータ中の階調値から(2d−1)を減算し、最下位から所定数の階調データが同一輝度に設定されるようにデータを変換する第2段階と、
連続する2d個のフレーム内に、前記RGBデータの各階調値の下位dビットによって前記RGBデータの各階調値の上位(n−d)ビットが示す階調データとその直上位階調データの発生頻度が調整されるようにフレームデータを変換する第3段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする液晶表示装置のフレームレート制御方法。 - 前記nは8であり、dは2であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置のフレームレート制御方法。
- 前記最下位から4つの階調データを‘0’に設定することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置のフレームレート制御方法。
