Claims (4)
- 入力反転用MOSトランジスタと負荷用MOSトランジスタとからなるインバータがリング状に奇数段接続されたリングオシレータと、前記負荷用MOSトランジスタに定電流を供給する定電流回路とを具備した発振回路において、
前記定電流回路は、前記入力反転用MOSトランジスタの閾値電圧に追随した定電圧を発生させる定電圧発生手段と、前記定電圧を前記定電流に変換する電圧電流変換手段とを有し、
前記定電圧発生手段は、定電流源と、当該定電流源からの定電流により前記入力反転用MOSトランジスタの閾値電圧に追随した定電圧を出力し、且つ前記入力反転用MOSトランジスタと同じ導電型で当該入力反転用MOSトランジスタとゲート長が同じでゲート幅が異なる定電圧出力用MOSトランジスタと、を備え、
前記電圧電流変換手段は、前記負荷用MOSトランジスタをミラートランジスタとするカレントミラーを構成し、且つ当該負荷用MOSトランジスタとゲート長が同じでゲート幅が異なる基準トランジスタを備える、
ことを特徴とする発振回路。 - 前記電圧電流変換手段は、前記定電圧を反転増幅する反転増幅器と、前記基準トランジスタを含むと共に当該反転増幅器の出力を定電流に変換して前記負荷用MOSトランジスタに供給する電圧電流変換回路と、を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の発振回路。
- 前記定電圧出力用MOSトランジスタはダイオード接続され、第1の抵抗を介して接地されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の発振回路。
- 前記電圧電流変換回路は、
前記反転増幅器の出力がゲートに接続され、さらに第2の抵抗と前記反転増幅器の非反転入力にドレインが接続された第1のトランジスタと、
前記第1のトランジスタと同じ導電型であり、前記反転増幅器の出力がゲートに接続され、ドレインが前記基準トランジスタのドレインに接続された第2のトランジスタと、を備え、
前記第1のトランジスタは前記第2のトランジスタとゲート長が同じでゲート幅が異なることを特徴とする請求項2記載の発振回路。
