Description
電池(またはセル)は一般に、負極、正極、電解質、およびセパレータを含む。負極、正極、およびセパレータは通例、ほどいて、ともに積層されるテープのロールの形で供給される。ほどくことは、「ゼリーロール」(円筒状)または「折畳み」(プリズム状)になりうる。負極および正極は従来どおりである。電解質は、電池が要望されるまで作用しないように、通例、積層化の後に添加される。
Claims (11)
- 高温溶融完全性を有する不織フラットシートと、
低温シャットダウン特性を有する微小孔性膜と、
前記不織フラットシートを前記微小孔性膜に接着する接着剤と、
を含むリチウム電池セパレータであって、
前記接着剤は、膨潤性ポリマーおよび湿潤剤を含み、
前記膨潤性ポリマーが、ポリフッ化ビニリデン;ポリエチレンオキシド;ポリビニルピロリドン;ポリテトラエチレングリコールジアクリレート;上述のいずれかのコポリマーおよびその併用からなる群より選択され、
前記湿潤剤がフタレートベースのエステルである、
リチウム電池セパレータ。 - 前記膜が熱可塑性ポリマーから作成される、請求項1に記載のリチウム電池セパレータ。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーが、ポリスチレン、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリアクリル酸、ポリアセタール、ポリアミド、ポリカーボネート、ポリエステル、ポリエーテルイミド、ポリイミド、ポリケトン、ポリフェニレンエーテル、ポリフェニレンスルフィド、ポリスルホンからなる群より選択される、請求項2に記載のリチウム電池セパレータ。
- 前記不織フラットシートが、熱可塑性ポリマー、セルロース誘導体、および/またはセラミックスからなる群より選択されるポリマーで作成される、請求項1に記載のリチウム電池セパレータ。
- 前記不織フラットシートがさらにコーティングまたは表面処理を有する請求項1に記載のリチウム電池セパレータ。
- 前記コーティングまたは表面処理がセラミック材料である、請求項5に記載のリチウム電池セパレータ。
- 前記セラミック材料がアルミナ、シリカ、およびジルコニア化合物およびその併用からなる群より選択される、請求項6に記載のリチウム電池セパレータ。
- 請求項1に記載のセパレータを用いて作成されたリチウム電池。
- 前記湿潤剤の量が、前記膨潤性ポリマーの10〜20重量%である、請求項1に記載のリチウム電池セパレータ。
- 前記不織フラットシートが、スパンボンドまたはメルトブロープロセスによって作成される、請求項1に記載のリチウム電池セパレータ。
- 前記膨潤性ポリマーがポリフッ化ビニリデンとヘキサフルオロプロピレンのコポリマーであり、前記ヘキサフルオロプロピレンの含有率が3〜20重量%である、請求項1に記載のリチウム電池セパレータ。
