Abstract
【解決手段】ガラス基板12が支持プラットフォーム上で支持ざれ、かつ熱処理炉内に収容される。基板12は、炉14の壁16,18を貫通して延在している拘束ピン34によって実質上鉛直配向で支持され、かつフレーム状のスペーサ部材30によって互いに分離される。
【効果】スペーサ部材30は基板12間の対流を低減させ、かつ各ガラス基板12の熱処理後の歪みを基板12の全表面に亘って、100μm未満まで減少させる、あるいは排除する。

Claims (4)
- 複数のガラス基板を熱処理する装置であって、
外側エンクロージャ壁と、内側エンクロージャ壁と、第1側面と、および第2側面とを備えている炉、
前記炉の前記第1側面を貫通して、前記炉により画成される内部容積内へと延在している第1の複数の拘束ピンであって、該ピンが運動しないように制限されている、第1の複数の拘束ピン、および、
前記炉の前記第2側面を貫通して延在している第2の複数の拘束ピンであって、前記第2の複数の拘束ピンの各拘束ピンが該拘束ピンの縦軸に沿って可動である、第2の複数の拘束ピン、
を備え、さらに前記第2の複数の拘束ピンの各拘束ピンが、前記複数のガラス基板に対して付勢力を加えるための付勢アセンブリを備えていることを特徴とする装置。 - 前記第1の複数の拘束ピンの各拘束ピンが、前記複数のガラス基板のうちのあるガラス基板に接触する接触部材と、前記付勢アセンブリに連結される延長部材とを備え、さらに該接触部材および該延長部材が、継手により可動に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記第2の複数の拘束ピンの各拘束ピンが、前記複数のガラス基板のうちのあるガラス基板に接触する接触部材と、前記付勢アセンブリに連結される延長部材とを備え、さらに該接触部材および該延長部材が、継手により可動に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の装置。
- 前記複数のガラス基板を鉛直配向で支持する、前記炉内へと延在している誘導部材をさらに備え、かつ前記複数のガラス基板を前記炉の外部位置から前記炉の内部位置へと移動させる間に、前記複数のガラス基板のうちのあるガラス基板が前記誘導部材と滑動接触することを特徴とする請求項1から3いずれか1項記載の装置。
