上述のようにして作製されたシェル触媒充填材の100球の殻厚みが測定された。該充填材のシェル触媒の殻厚みの平均値に対する、該充填材のシェル触媒の殻厚みの標準偏差の比は、10%未満であった。
実施例5及び比較例1による触媒球体の6mlの床が、それぞれ、10barで150℃の温度の固定床管状反応器中で、N2中に15%HOAcと6%O2と39%C2H4を含み流速が550ml(STP)/minの供給ガスに晒され、反応器廃水がガスクロマトグラフィーを用いて解析された。
Claims (22)
- 少なくとも1つの触媒活性種が存在する外殻を有する多孔質触媒担体成形体を備えたシェル触媒を製造する方法であって、プロセスガス(40)によって、触媒担体が楕円形にまたはトロイダル形に、好ましくはトロイダル形に循環する触媒担体の流動床が生成するように設計された装置(10)を用いて実施され、以下のステップ、
a)前記装置(10)に触媒担体成形体が充填され、プロセスガス(40)によって触媒担体成形体の流動床が生成され、該成形触媒担体が該流動床中で楕円形又はトロイダル形に循環し、好ましくはトロイダル形に循環するステップ、
b)前記流動床中で楕円形又はトロイダル形に循環する前記触媒担体成形体に、触媒活性種又はその前駆体を備えた溶液を噴霧するステップ、
c)前記溶液の噴霧された前記成形触媒担体を乾燥させるステップ。 - さらに、前記前駆体を、触媒活性種に変換させるステップを備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記装置(10)の前記プロセスチャンバー(15)から供給される前記プロセスガス(40)が、プロセスチャンバー(15)の底部(16)を通して、好ましくはプロセスチャンバー(15)の側壁(18)の領域で、対角線上に上方へ向かう運動成分を伴った追加的なプロセスガス(61)を供給することによって、円周方向の流れ成分を受けていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記流動床中で楕円形又はトロイダル形に循環する触媒担体成形体の噴霧が、前記装置(10)の底部(16)の平面と平行に進む噴霧雲(70)を噴霧する環状ギャップノズル(50)によって実施されることを特徴とする上記何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセスガス(40)が、好ましくは40℃と等しいか又はそれより高い温度へと加熱されることを特徴とする上記何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセスガス(40)が、プロセスチャンバー(15)内へ供給される前に、前記溶液の溶媒を、好ましくは飽和蒸気圧の10から50%の範囲内で、添加されることを特徴とする上記何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記溶液が、触媒活性種として生物触媒、好ましくは酵素を備えるか、又は、触媒活性種又はそれらの前駆体として、遷移金属からなる群より選択される金属、特に貴金属、とりわけ、Co−、Ni−、及び/又はCuを備えることを特徴とする上記何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記溶液が、触媒活性種またはその前駆体としてPd化合物、及び/又はAu化合物、及び/又はAg化合物、及び/又はPt化合物を備えることを特徴とする請求項7記載の方法。
- 成形触媒担体が、前記溶液を噴霧された後、固定ステップで処理されることを特徴とする上記何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも一つの触媒活性種が存在する外殻を伴った、多孔質成形触媒担体成形体を備えたシェル触媒であって、その内側および外側の殻境界からそれぞれ殻厚みの5%離れた、該殻厚みの90%の領域にわたって、触媒活性種の濃度がその領域における触媒活性種の平均濃度から、最大+/−20%の範囲で変化することを特徴とするシェル触媒。
- 前記触媒の殻の厚みを横切るように、触媒活性種の最大濃度が外殻境界の領域にあり、殻内側境界の方向へ向かって該濃度が減少するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項10記載のシェル触媒。
- 前記触媒活性種が生物触媒、好ましくは酵素であるか、又は、前記触媒活性種が、遷移金属の群、好ましくは貴金属、とりわけCo−、Ni−、及び/又はCuの群から選択される金属の形態としての金属であることを特徴とする請求項10又は11記載のシェル触媒。
- 前記触媒が、前記触媒活性種として、殻に2又はそれ以上の異なる金属、特に次の組み合わせ、すなわちPdとAg、PdとAu、PdとPtの何れか一組を備えていることを特徴とする請求項10〜12の何れか一項に記載のシェル触媒。
- 前記触媒が、前記触媒活性種として、PdおよびAuを備え、該触媒中におけるPdの比率が、貴金属の蓄積された触媒担体の質量に基づき、0.6から2.0質量%であり、前記触媒のAu/Pd原子比率が、0と1.2の間であることを特徴とする請求項10〜13の何れか一項に記載のシェル触媒。
- 前記触媒が、アルカリ金属酢酸塩、好ましくは酢酸カリウムを備えることを特徴とする請求項10〜14の何れか一項に記載のシェル触媒。
- 前記触媒担体が、160m2/gに等しいか又はそれ未満の表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項10〜15の何れか一項に記載のシェル触媒。
- 前記触媒担体が、1μeq/gと150μeq/gの間の酸性度を有することを特徴とする請求項10〜16の何れか一項に記載のシェル触媒。
- 前記触媒担体が、Zr、Hf、Ti、Nb、Ta、W、Mg、Re、YおよびFeからなる群より選択された金属の酸化物の少なくとも一つ、好ましくは、ZrO2、HfO2又はFe2O3をドープされていることを特徴とする請求項10〜17の何れか一項に記載のシェル触媒。
- 前記触媒担体が、前記触媒活性種としてPdおよびAgを備え、該触媒のPdの比率が、貴金属の負荷された触媒担体の質量に対し、0.01から1.0質量%であり、前記触媒のAg/Pd原子比率が、0と10の間であり、好ましくは該貴金属殻の厚みが60μm未満であることを特徴とする請求項10〜13の何れか一項に記載のシェル触媒。
- 前記触媒担体が、前記触媒活性種としてPdおよびPtを備え、該触媒のPdの比率が、貴金属の負荷された触媒担体の質量に対し、0.05から5質量%であり、前記触媒のPd/Pt原子比率が、10と1の間であることを特徴とする請求項10〜13の何れか一項に記載のシェル触媒。
- 前記触媒の殻が、300μm未満の厚みを有すること、又は前記触媒の殻が、200から2000μmの間の厚みを有することを特徴とする請求項10〜20の何れか一項に記載のシェル触媒。
- 上記何れか一項に記載の方法を実施するため、又はシェル触媒、特に上記請求項の何れか一項に記載のシェル触媒の製造において、プロセスガス(40)によって、成形触媒担体が楕円形又はトロイダル形、好ましくはトロイダル形に循環する成形触媒担体の流動床を作り出すように設計された装置(10)の使用。
