Claims (88)
- 哺乳動物の体内で骨格系の一部を矯正するシステムにおいて、
第1の部分と第2の部分とを有するインプラントであって、前記第1の部分が骨格系の第1の部位に連結するように構成され、前記第2の部分が骨格系の第2の部位に連結するように構成されたインプラントと、
前記第1の部位と前記第2の部位の間の距離または力の少なくとも一方を変更するように構成された調整デバイスであって、当該調整デバイスが回転軸の周りを回転するように構成された磁気要素を具え、当該磁気要素が前記第1の部位と前記第2の部位の間の距離または力の少なくとも一方を変更するように構成された駆動要素に機能的に連結されている調整デバイスと、
哺乳動物の外部の位置から前記調整デバイスに磁着するように構成された外部調整デバイスであって、第1の軸の周りを回転するように構成された第1の永久磁石と、第2の軸の周りを回転するように構成された第2の永久磁石とを具える外部調整デバイスと、
を具えるシステムであって、
前記第1の軸の周りの前記第1の永久磁石の回転および前記第2の軸の周りの前記第2の永久磁石の連動した回転が、回転軸の周りに前記磁気要素の回転をもたらすことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、調整デバイスが、前記磁気要素が前記回転軸の周りを回転する時に、前記インプラントの前記第1の部分と前記インプラントの前記第2の部分との間の距離を変更するように構成されることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項2に記載のシステムにおいて、第1の方向への前記磁気要素の回転が前記インプラントの前記第1の部分と前記インプラントの前記第2の部分との間の距離を増加させ、第2の方向への前記磁気要素の回転が前記インプラントの前記第1の部分と前記インプラントの前記第2の部分との間の距離を減少させることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記外部調整デバイスが、前記第1の永久磁石と前記第2の永久磁石とが同じ角速度で回転するように構成されることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記第1の永久磁石が少なくとも1のN極と少なくとも1のS極とを有し、前記第2の永久磁石が少なくとも1のN極と少なくとも1のS極とを有しており、前記第1および第2の永久磁石の1回転によって前記第1の永久磁石の前記少なくとも1のN極の角度位置が前記第2の永久磁石の前記少なくとも1のS極の角度位置と実質的に同等であるように、前記外部調整デバイスが前記第1の永久磁石と前記第2の永久磁石とを回転させるように構成されることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記外部調整デバイスが、前記第1の永久磁石および前記第2の永久磁石を回転させるように構成されたモータを具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記磁気要素が円筒形であることを特徴とするシステム。

- 請求項75に記載のシステムにおいて、前記外部調整デバイスが、前記フィードバックデバイスによって生じた前記反応に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記インプラントを自動的に調整することを特徴とするシステム。
- 哺乳動物の体内の骨格系の一部を矯正するシステムであって、
第1の部分と第2の部分とを有するインプラントであって、前記第1の部分が前記骨格系の第1の部位に連結するように構成され、前記第2の部分が前記骨格系の第2の部位に連結するように構成されるインプラントと、
前記第1の部位と前記第2の部位との間の伸延力を変更するように構成される調整デバイスであって、当該調整デバイスが回転軸の周りを回転するように構成される磁気要素を具え、当該磁気要素が前記第1の部位と前記第2の部位との間の前記伸延力を変更するように構成された駆動要素に機能的に連結されている調整デバイスと、
前記哺乳動物の外部から前記調整デバイスに磁着するように構成された外部調整デバイスであって、軸の周りを回転するように構成された少なくとも1の永久磁石を具える外部調整デバイスと、
を具えるシステムであって、
前記骨格系に連結するように構成された前記インプラントの前記第1および第2の部分の少なくとも一方が、実質的に180°の弯曲を有する接続ロッドを具えることを特徴とするシステム。
