Description

Claims (15)
- 対象者の体内で骨格系の一部を矯正するシステムであって、
第1の位置にて前記対象者の骨格系に配置するように構成される第1の部分と、第2の位置にて前記対象者の骨格系に配置するように構成される第2の部分とを有する、インプラントと、
回転軸の周りを回転するよう構成される磁気要素を含み、前記インプラントの前記第1の部分及び前記第2の部分の相対位置を変更するように構成される駆動要素に動作可能に連結される、調整デバイスと、
前記対象者の外側位置から前記調整デバイスに磁着するように構成される、外部調整デバイスとを含み、
前記外部調整デバイスは、N極及びS極を有し、第1の軸の周りで回転するように構成される、第1の回転磁石と、N極及びS極を有し、前記第1の回転磁石から離間し、別個の第2の軸の周りで回転するように構成される、第2の回転磁石とを含み、
前記第1の回転磁石の前記N極の角位置は、前記第1及び第2の回転磁石の全回転を通じて、前記第2の回転磁石の前記N極の角位置から角度的にオフセットし、
前記外部調整デバイスの前記第1及び第2の回転磁石の回転は、前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との間の伸延力を増大させる、
システム。 - 前記磁気要素は、6グラム未満の質量を有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記磁気要素は、3グラム未満の質量を有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記磁気要素は、永久磁石を含む、請求項1乃至3のうちのいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記磁気要素は、レアアース磁石を含む、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記磁気要素は、ネオジム鉄ホウ素を含む、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記磁気要素は、等級N30以上である、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記外部調整デバイスは、前記第1の回転磁石を前記第1の軸の周りで回転させるように構成されるモータを更に含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の回転磁石及び前記第2の回転磁石は、それぞれ、円筒形を有する、請求項1又は8に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の回転磁石及び前記第2の回転磁石は、それぞれ、レアアース磁石を含む、請求項1、8又は9に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の回転磁石及び前記第2の回転磁石は、それぞれ、ネオジム鉄ホウ素を含む、請求項1又は10に記載のシステム。
- 前記調整デバイスは、前記磁気要素が前記回転軸の周りで回転するときに、前記インプラントの第1の部分と前記インプラントの第2の部分の間の距離を変更するように構成される、請求項1乃至11のうちのいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記調整デバイスは、前記磁気要素が前記回転軸の周りで回転するときに、前記インプラントの第1の部分と前記インプラントの第2の部分の間の力を変更するよう構成される、請求項1乃至12のうちのいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 第1の方向への前記磁気要素の回転が前記インプラントの第1の部分と前記インプラントの第2の部分の間の距離を増加させ、第2の方向への前記磁気要素の回転が前記インプラントの第1の部分と前記インプラントの第2の部分の間の距離を減少させる、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 第1の方向への前記磁気要素の回転が前記インプラントの第1の部分と前記インプラントの第2の部分の間の力を増加させ、第2の方向への前記磁気要素の回転が前記インプラントの第1の部分と前記インプラントの第2の部分の間の力を減少させる、請求項13に記載のシステム。
