Abstract

それを通過する光を散乱させ、集束させ、または、指向させるディスパーサ(16)と、
前記光源(12)と前記ディスパーサ(16)とを離間させるセパレータ(14)とを備え、前記光源(12)からの光の少なくとも一部が、前記セパレータ(14)に沿って前記ディスパーサ(16)を通るように指向されることを特徴とするランプ。 - 前記ディスパーサ(16)は、光を予め定められたパターンに散乱させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のランプ。

- 前記光源(31)は、少なくとも1つのレーザを備えることを特徴とする請求項21に記載のランプ。
- 前記光源(31a,31b)は、少なくとも2つの発光ダイオードを備え、前記ダイオード(31a,31b)からの光が前記セパレータ(23)およびディスパーサ(16)内で混ざり合い、前記ランプが前記LEDからの光を組み合わせて発することを特徴とする請求項21に記載のランプ。
- 前記LED(31a,31b)には、光を放出させるためにそれぞれ電流が加えられ、前記ランプから発せられる光の組合せを制御するために前記それぞれの電流が操作されることを特徴とする請求項24に記載のランプ。
- 前記光源(31a,31b)は、青色光および黄色光を発し、前記ディスパーサ(16)は、青色と黄色とを組み合わせた白色光を発することを特徴とする請求項21に記載のランプ。
- 前記光源(12)は、赤色光、緑色光および青色光を発し、前記ディスパーサ(16)が、赤色、緑色および青色を組み合わせた白色光を発することを特徴とする請求項21に記載のランプ。
- 前記光源(12)、セパレータ(14)およびディスパーサ(16)を包囲する少なくとも部分的に透明なエンクロージャ(63)を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項21に記載のランプ。
- 前記エンクロージャ(63)は、前記光源(12)からの光を散乱させることを特徴とする請求項21に記載のランプ。
- 前記エンクロージャ(63)は、前記光源(12)からの光の少なくとも一部の波長を変化させることを特徴とする請求項21に記載のランプ。
- 反射性ランプエンクロージャ(61)を更に備え、前記ディスパーサ(62)からの光の少なくとも一部が前記ランプエンクロージャ(61)で指向性ビームとして反射するように、前記ディスパーサ(62)が前記ランプエンクロージャ(61)内に位置決めされていることを特徴とする請求項21に記載のランプ。
- 前記光源(12)の周囲に、前記光源により発生される熱を引き離すためのヒートシンク(39)を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項21に記載のランプ。
- 前記ディスパーサ(54)は、該ディスパーサ(54)から発する光を成形するための光要素(55)を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項21に記載のランプ。
- 前記ディスパーサは、該ディスパーサから発せられる光を成形するための少なくとも1つのマスク(56)を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項21に記載のランプ。
- 少なくとも1つの固体レーザを備える光源(47)と、
それを通過する光を混合させると共に分散させるディスパーサ(49)と、
セパレータ(48a,48b)とを備え、前記光源(47)およびディスパーサ(49)が前記セパレータ(48a,48b)に取り付けられると共に前記セパレータ(48a、48b)によって離間されており、前記光源(47)からの光の少なくとも一部が、前記ディスパーサ(49)を通るように指向されることを特徴とするランプ。 - 前記セパレータ(48a,48b)は、1つまたはそれ以上のオフセットロッドから構成されていることを特徴とする請求項35に記載のランプ。
- 前記セパレータ(48a,48b)は、中空管から構成されていることを特徴とする請求項35に記載のランプ。
- 前記固体レーザ(47)は、室内照明に十分な出力光束を発することを特徴とする請求項35に記載のランプ。
- 少なくとも1つの発光ダイオードを備え、室内照明に十分な出力光束を発する光源(12)と、
それを通過する光を分散させるディスパーサ(16)と、
前記光源(12)から前記ディスパーサ(16)への実質的な熱移動を防止するのに十分な距離だけ前記光源(12)とディスパーサ(16)とを離間させるセパレータ(14)であって、前記光源(12)からの光の少なくとも一部が、前記セパレータ(14)に沿って前記ディスパーサ(16)を通るように指向されるセパレータ(14)と、
少なくとも部分的に透明であり、それを通過する光の少なくとも一部の波長を変化させる物質を含むランプエンクロージャ(63)であって、前記ディスパーサ(16)によって分散される光が前記エンクロージャ(63)を通過するように、前記光源(12)、セパレータ(14)、およびディスパーサ(16)を取り囲むエンクロージャ(63)とを備えることを特徴とするランプ。 - 前記光源(12)は、青色発光ダイオードまたはレーザであり、前記ランプエンクロージャ(63)は、前記青色光の一部を黄色光に変化させる波長変換物質を含んでおり、それにより、前記ディスパーサ(16)は青色と黄色とを組み合わせた白色光を発することを特徴とする請求項39に記載のランプ。
- 前記エンクロージャ(63)、ディスパーサ(16)またはセパレータ(14)は、前記波長変換を生じさせるための黄色燐光体を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項39に記載のランプ。
- 前記エンクロージャ(63)、ディスパーサ(16)またはセパレータ(14)は、前記波長変換を生じさせるための蛍光染料または重合体を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項39に記載のランプ。
- 前記光源(12)は、紫外発光ダイオードまたはレーザであり、前記ランプエンクロージャ(63)、ディスパーサ(16)またはセパレータ(14)は、実質的にすべての紫外光を、着色光または白色光を生成するために組み合わさる色に変換する波長変換物質を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項39に記載のランプ。
- 多重要素ランプであって、
それらの光が混ざり合って前記多重要素ランプから光を発生させる少なくとも2つの個別のランプ(42,43)を備え、前記の個別ランプの各々が、
光源(12)と、
それを通過する光を散乱させ、集束させ、または、指向させるディスパーサ(16)と、
前記光源(12)と前記ディスパーサ(16)とを離間させる細長いセパレータ(14)とを備え、前記光源(12)からの光の少なくとも一部が、前記セパレータ(14)に沿って前記ディスパーサ(16)を通るように指向されることを特徴とするランプ。 - 前記個別のランプ(42,43)を2つ有し、前記多重要素ランプが白色光を発するように、一方の前記個別のランプ(42)が青色光を発し、他方の前記個別のランプ(43)が黄色光を発することを特徴とする請求項44に記載のランプ。
- 赤色光、緑色光および青色光を発する3つの個別のランプを有し、前記多重要素ランプが、赤色、緑色および青色を組み合わせた白色光を発することを特徴とする請求項44に記載のランプ。
- 前記個別のランプ(42,43)には、光を放出させるためにそれぞれに電流が加えられ、前記多重要素ランプから発せられる光の色を制御するために前記個別ランプ(42,43)に加えられる電流が操作されることを特徴とする請求項44に記載のランプ。
- 分散光を生成するための方法であって、
第1の位置(12)で光を発生させるステップと、
前記第1の位置との実質的な熱移動のやり取りがない他の位置(16)に前記光の少なくとも一部(14)を伝えるステップと、
前記他の位置(16)で前記光の一部の波長を散乱または変換し、すべての光を分散させるステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。
