Abstract

Claims (20)
- 車両用の乗員検出システムであって、
感圧材料を、車両の少なくとも1つの座席又は該座席の周囲の1つ以上の圧力検出ゾーンに設置し、
各ゾーンの感圧材料が、圧力が加えられたときにコントローラへと電気信号を供給するように構成され、
前記コントローラが、前記電気信号にもとづいて乗員の存在、位置、及び分類のうちの少なくとも1つを判断し、
前記感圧材料が、該材料へと加わる圧力の大きさ又は種類にもとづく可変の抵抗及び可変の容量の少なくとも一方を有し、
該可変の抵抗及び可変の容量の少なくとも一方が、前記電気信号の特性を変化させる、システム。 - 前記感圧材料が、量子トンネル性複合材料、カーボンナノチューブ導電ポリマー、及びグラフェンのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記1つ以上の圧力検出ゾーンが、座席本体、背もたれ、ヘッドレスト、ドアのアームレスト、センターコンソール又は中央のアームレスト、並びに床のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラが、シートベルトの使用の情報に関して運転者に情報を提供するために、車両の表示装置又は表示器へと電気信号をもたらす、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラが、各々の圧力検出ゾーンにおける圧力の大きさ及び重量の脱荷重を含む圧力の位置にもとづいて、乗員の重量を割り出す、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラが、運転席用エアバッグの使用、助手席用エアバッグの使用、サイドエアバッグの使用、及びシートベルトの張力のうちの少なくとも1つを、割り出された乗員の存在、位置、及び分類のうちの少なくとも1つにもとづいて制御する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 各々の圧力検出ゾーンが、前記感圧材料を有する複数の圧力センサを備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記電気信号を受け取って該信号を前記コントローラへともたらすように構成された1対の電極をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 車両用の乗員分類システムであって、
車両の少なくとも1つの座席又は該座席の周囲の1つ以上の圧力検出ゾーンに設置されたセンサのアレイを備え、
各センサが、圧力が加えられたときにコントローラへと電気信号をもたらすように構成された感圧材料を含み、
前記コントローラが、前記電気信号にもとづいて乗員の位置及び分類のうちの少なくとも1つを判断し、
前記感圧材料は、該材料へと加わる圧力の大きさ又は種類にもとづく可変の抵抗及び可変の容量の少なくとも一方を有し、
該可変の抵抗及び可変の容量の少なくとも一方が、前記電気信号の特性を変化させる、システム。 - 前記感圧材料が、量子トンネル性複合材料、カーボンナノチューブ導電ポリマー、及びグラフェンのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記1つ以上の圧力検出ゾーンが、座席本体、背もたれ、ヘッドレスト、ドアのアームレスト、センターコンソール又は中央のアームレスト、並びに床のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラが、各々の圧力検出ゾーンにおける圧力の大きさ及び重量の脱荷重を含む圧力の位置にもとづいて、乗員の重量を割り出す、請求項9に記載のシステム。

車両の少なくとも1つの座席又は該座席の周囲の1つ以上の圧力検出ゾーンに設置されたセンサを備え、

前記コントローラが、前記電気信号にもとづいて乗員の存在を判断し、
前記感圧材料は、該材料へと加わる圧力の大きさ又は種類にもとづく可変の抵抗及び可変の容量の少なくとも一方を有し、
該可変の抵抗及び可変の容量の少なくとも一方が、前記電気信号の特性を変化させる、システム。 - 前記感圧材料が、量子トンネル性複合材料、カーボンナノチューブ導電ポリマー、及びグラフェンのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 前記1つ以上の圧力検出ゾーンが、座席本体、背もたれ、ヘッドレスト、ドアのアームレスト、センターコンソール又は中央のアームレスト、並びに床のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラが、シートベルトの使用の情報に関して運転者に情報を提供するために、車両の表示装置又は表示器へと電気信号をもたらす、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラが、運転席用エアバッグの使用、助手席用エアバッグの使用、サイドエアバッグの使用、及びシートベルトの張力のうちの少なくとも1つを、割り出された乗員の存在にもとづいて制御する、請求項15に記載のシステム。
