Claims (36)
- 車両の側部に取り付けるための可膨張性サイドクッションであって、
可伸張性中空部、
該可伸張性中空部を膨張させるためのインフレータ・モジュール、
前記可伸張性中空部の膨張に際して、前記車両の室内に向かってかつ前記車両の側部から離れる方向に突出する内壁、および
前記可伸張性中空部と前記側部との間に配置された外壁であって、1)該外壁を前記車両の側部の一部分に取り付けるための少なくとも1個の取付け具を備えた取付け部、および2)該取付け部と境を接する周辺部を備えた外壁
を有してなる可膨張性サイドクッションにおいて、
前記外壁は、膨張時に前記少なくとも1個の取付け具によって前記外壁が前記側部の一部分に取り付けられた状態を維持しかつ該外壁の周辺部が膨張時に前記車両の側部の一部分に対して自由に移動して前記可伸張性中空部の伸張を促進するように、少なくとも1個の取付け具によって前記側部の一部分に取付け可能であることを特徴とする可膨張性サイドクッション。 - 前記周辺部は、第1周辺部および第2周辺部により構成され、前記取付け部が前記第1周辺部と前記第2周辺部との間に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の可膨張性サイドクッション。
- 前記周辺部は、前記可伸張性中空部の膨張時に、前記車室内に向かってかつ該車両の側部から離れる方向に移動するように動作可能であることを特徴とする、請求項2記載の可膨張性サイドクッション。
- 前記周辺部は、該周辺部を前記車両の側部に取り付けるための複数の壊れ易い固定具を備え、
前記複数の壊れ易い固定具は前記可伸張性中空部の膨張によって外されることを特徴とする、請求項3記載の可膨張性サイドクッション。 - 前記周辺部の前記車両の側部に対する移動および前記可伸張性中空部の膨張を促進するために、前記周辺部に襞が付されていることを特徴とする、請求項3記載の可膨張性サイドクッション。
- 前記中空部は、前記第1周辺部に隣接する第1可伸張性中空部および前記第2周辺部に隣接する第2可伸張性中空部を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項2記載の可膨張性サイドクッション。
- 前記可伸張性中空部は、1)前記インフレータ・モジュールを前記第1可伸張性中空部に連結する第1供給管、および2)前記インフレータ・モジュールを前記第2可伸張性中空部に連結する第2供給管をさらに備え、
前記インフレータ・モジュールは、前記第1可伸張性中空部および前記第2可伸張性中空部の双方を膨張させるための共用インフレータを備え、該共用インフレータは前記第1および第2可伸張性中空部の外側に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項6記載の可膨張性サイドクッション。 - 前記中空部は、前記共用インフレータから膨張用ガスを受け取るための、かつ前記第1供給管に対する前記膨張用ガスの第1の選択された比率および前記第2供給管に対する前記膨張用ガスの第2の選択された比率を決めるためのV字状連結部をさらに備えていることを特徴とする、請求項7記載の可膨張性サイドクッション。
- 前記第1可伸張性中空部と前記第2可伸張性中空部との間に比較的非伸張性の構成要素をさらに備えていることを特徴とする、請求項7記載の可膨張性サイドクッション。
- 前記比較的非伸張性の構成要素は、前記可伸張性中空部の一部分であり、
前記内壁は、前記比較的非伸張性の構成要素において、前記内壁が前記第1可伸張性中空部および前記第2可伸張性中空部において伸張に抵抗するよりも余計に伸張に抵抗することを特徴とする、請求項9記載の可膨張性サイドクッション。 - 前記内壁は、前記比較的非伸張性の構成要素において、前記第1可伸張性中空部および前記第2可伸張性中空部におけるよりも厚いことを特徴とする、請求項10記載の可膨張性サイドクッション。
- 前記比較的非伸張性の構成要素に隣接する前記外壁が取付け部を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項10記載の可膨張性サイドクッション。
- ウインドウ、
該ウインドウの一部分に隣接したドア本体、
該ドア本体に取り付けられたアームレスト、および
1)可伸張性中空部と、2)該可伸張性中空部を膨張させるためのインフレータ・モジュールと、3)前記可伸張性中空部の膨張に際して車内に向かって内方へ、かつ前記ドアから離れる方向へ突出するための内壁と、4)前記可伸張性中空部と前記ドアとの間に配置された外壁であって、該外壁を前記ドアの一部分に取り付けるための少なくとも1個の取付け具を備えた取付け部、および該取付け部に境を接する周辺部を有する外壁とを有する可膨張性サイドクッション
を備えた車両のドアにおいて、
前記外壁は、膨張時に前記外壁が前記少なくとも1個の取付け具によって前記ドア本体に取り付けられた状態を維持しかつ膨張時に前記外壁の周辺部が前記ドア本体に対して自由に移動して前記可伸張性中空部の伸張を促進するように、前記少なくとも1個の取付け具によって前記ドア本体に取付け可能であることを特徴とする車両のドア。 - 前記周辺部が第1周辺部および第2周辺部を備え、前記取付け部が前記第1周辺部と前記第2周辺部との間に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項13記載の車両のドア。
- 前記第1周辺部は、前記アームレストと前記ウインドウとの間の第1の距離の大部分に跨り、かつ前記第2周辺部は、前記アームレストと前記ドア本体の下縁との間の第2の距離の大部分に跨っていることを特徴とする、請求項14記載の車両のドア。
- 前記中空部は、前記1周辺部に隣接する第1可伸張性中空部および前記2周辺部に隣接する第2可伸張性中空部を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項15記載の車両のドア。
- 前記中空部は、1)前記インフレータ・モジュールを前記第1可伸張性中空部に連結する第1供給管、および2)前記インフレータ・モジュールを前記第2可伸張性中空部に連結する第2供給管をさらに備え、
前記インフレータ・モジュールは、前記第1可伸張性中空部および前記第2可伸張性中空部の双方を膨張させる共用インフレータを備えていることを特徴とする、請求項16記載の車両のドア。 - 前記可膨張性クッションが、前記第1可伸張性中空部と前記第2可伸張性中空部との間に比較的非伸張性の構成要素をさらに備えていることを特徴とする、請求項17記載の車両のドア。
- 前記比較的非伸張性の構成要素は前記可伸張性中空部の一部分であり、
前記内壁は、前記比較的非伸張性の構成要素において、前記第1可伸張性中空部および前記第2可伸張性中空部において伸張に抵抗するよりも余計に伸張に抵抗することを特徴とする、請求項18記載の車両のドア。 - 前記比較的非伸張性の構成要素に隣接する前記外壁は取付け部を備えており、

可伸張性中空部、
該可伸張性中空部を膨張させるためのインフレータ・モジュール、
前記可伸張性中空部の膨張に際して、前記車両の室内に向かってかつ前記車両の側部から離れる方向に突出する内壁、および
前記可伸張性中空部と前記側部との間に配置された外壁であって、該外壁を前記車両の側部の一部分に取り付けるための少なくとも1個の取付け具を備えた取付け部を有する外壁、
を備えたことを特徴とする可膨張性サイドクッション。 - 身体支持面、
該身体支持面の反対側の背面、および
1)可伸張性中空部と、2)該可伸張性中空部を膨張させるためのインフレータ・モジュールと、3)前記可伸張性中空部の膨張に際して前記シートから突出して、前記身体支持面および前記背面の少なくとも一方を変位させるための乗員側の壁とを有する可膨張性クッション
を備えていることを特徴とする車両のシート。 - 前記身体支持面は、膨張に先立って前記乗員側の壁の第1側が乗員を支持するように動作可能な態様で、前記乗員側の壁の第1側によって支持されていることを特徴とする請求項22記載の車両のシート。
- 前記身体支持面は、膨張に先立って前記乗員側の壁の第1側が乗員を支持するように動作可能な乗員側の壁の第1側であることを特徴とする請求項22記載の車両のシート。
- 前記身体支持面は、1)乗員の背中を支持するための上方部、および2)前記乗員の一対の大腿部を支持するための下方部を備え、
前記可膨張性クッションは、前記可伸張性中空部の膨張に際して、前記身体支持面の上方部および下方部の少なくとも一方を変位させるように動作可能であることを特徴とする請求項22記載の車両のシート。 - 前記可膨張性クッションは、前記身体支持面の上方部および下方部の双方を変位させて、前記乗員をシートベルトの周りで折り曲げるように動作可能であることを特徴とする請求項25記載の車両のシート。
- さらにヘッドレストを備え、前記可膨張性クッションが前記ヘッドレスト内に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項22記載の車両のシート。
- 前記可膨張性クッションは、前記ヘッドレストの非伸張性中央部の両側に周辺部をさらに備え、これら両周辺部は、前記可伸張性中空部の膨張に際して前方へ突出して前記乗員の頭部に対する側方支持を行なうように作動可能であることを特徴とする請求項27記載の車両のシート。
- 前記身体支持面は頸部支持部を備え、前記可膨張性クッションは、前記可伸張性中空部の膨張に際して前記頸部支持部を移動させるように作動可能であることを特徴とする請求項27記載の車両のシート。
- 前記ヘッドレストは後側を備え、
前記可膨張性クッションは、前記可伸張性中空部の膨張に際して前記後側を後方へ移動させるように作動可能であることを特徴とする請求項27記載の車両のシート。 - 前記可膨張性クッションは、前記可伸張性中空部の膨張に際して前記後面を後方へ移動させるように作動可能であることを特徴とする請求項27記載の車両のシート。
- 可伸張性中空部、
該可伸張性中空部を膨張させるためのインフレータ・モジュール、および
膨張に先立って両足を支持し、かつ前記可伸張性中空部の膨張に際して上方へ突出して前記両足を持ち上げるための足支持面
を備えていることを特徴とする車両のフロアクッション。 - 車両のロールバー上に取り付けるための、車両のロールバークッションであって、
可伸張性中空部、
該可伸張性中空部を膨張させるためのインフレータ・モジュール、
前記可伸張性中空部の膨張に際して前記車両のロールバーから外方へ突出するための半径方向外方の壁、および
前記車両のロールバーに取り付けるための半径方向内方の壁であって、前記可伸張性中空部と前記車両のロールバーとの間に配置されている半径方向内方の壁
を備えていることを特徴とする車両のロールバークッション。 - 前記半径方向外方の壁が、前記可伸張性中空部の伸張および前記半径方向外方の壁の外方への突出を促進する襞を備えていることを特徴とする請求項33記載の車両のロールバークッション。
- 車両のルーフクッションであって、
可伸張性中空部、
該可伸張性中空部を膨張させるためのインフレータ・モジュール、および
前記可伸張性中空部の膨張に際して前記車室内に突出するためのルーフ面
を備えていることを特徴とする車両のルーフクッション。 - 車両のピラークッションであって、
可伸張性中空部、
該可伸張性中空部を膨張させるためのインフレータ・モジュール、および
前記可伸張性中空部の膨張に際して前記車室内に突出するためのピラー面
を備えていることを特徴とする車両のピラークッション。
