Abstract
【解決手段】第1映像信号と第2映像信号を1GOP以上のフレーム群に各々分割し、左右交互に光ディスク1上に記録したインターリーブブロックを、立体/高画質対応型再生装置では、第1と第2のインターリーブブロックの双方を再生することにより立体映像もしくは高画質映像を得、立体/高画質非対応型の再生装置では、第1もしくは第2インターリーブブロックの一方のみをトラックジャンプして再生し、通常映像を得る。

Claims (3)
- 動画像を符号化して得られた符号列を復号し立体映像を復元する方法であって、
符号列から立体映像コンテンツを含むか否かを示す立体映像識別子を検出する検出ステップと、
前記符号列から偶数フィールド画像信号を復号して、右目あるいは左目の一方の目用の画像信号を出力するステップと、
前記符号列から奇数フィールドの画像信号を復号し、他方の目用の画像信号を出力するステップと、
前記立体映像識別子に基づいて、前記右目用の画像信号と前記左目用の画像信号とを合成し前記立体映像を復元する合成ステップと、
を含む立体映像の復元方法。 - 前記検出ステップは、前記符号列を最初の読み出す際に実行される、
請求項1記載の立体映像を復元する方法。 - 前記合成ステップは、各々フィールド符号化された右目用の画像信号または左目用の画像信号の一方を遅延させ、表示において同一となる立体画像を生成する、
請求項1または2のいずれかに記載の立体映像を復元する方法。
