Abstract
【解決手段】 半径方向に圧縮可能な人工器官を配置するためのデリバリーカテーテルにおいて、該カテーテルが、
近位端及び遠位端を有する細長い可撓性シャフト、
シャフト上に人工器官の軸位置を解放可能に保持するシャフトの遠位端近くの保持構造、及び
人工器官が保持構造によりシャフト上に軸方向に保持されているあいだ該人工器官を覆うためにシャフト上にスライド可能に受取られているシース、

Description
本発明のデリバリーカテーテルの他の観点において、ジャーナルスリーブが、カテーテルの外部固定を可能とするために人工器官含有シースの上にスライド的に配置され、一方、シースは、ジャーナルスリーブ及びシャフトに相対的な軸方向の移動について自由なままである。好ましくは、シースの軸方向への移動を可能としながら、シャフトをジャーナルスリーブに選択的に固定するために、ロック装置が備えられる。この方法において、カテーテルシャフト及び(その上に保持された)半径方向に圧縮された人工器官の位置は、導入シース内のジャーナルスリーブ又は経皮進入のために備えられた他の進入デバイスにより、体の管腔内に固定され次いで適当な位置にてロックされうる。シャフト及び人工器官を適当な場所にロックした後、シースは、管腔内の人工器官の予め配置した位置を乱すことなく、人工器官を解放(半径方向に拡張)するために近位方向に引っ込められ得る。
図3に図解されている如く、体の管腔L内に最初に配置されたとき、シース32は、実質上人工器官Pの全長を覆っており、貫通ステー50は人工器官Pの近位部分と係合している。図4で図解されている如く、次いでシース32は、近位方向に引っ込められ、人工器官Pを部分的に解放する。しかしながら、人工器官Pの近位部分は、シース32がステーの上に位置し続ける限り、貫通ステー50によって固定され続ける。いったんシース32が、ステー50の近位側に引っ込められれば、図5に図解する如く、人工器官Pは完全に解放される。しかしながら、このような完全な解放に先だって、人工器官Pは、シース32をシャフト32に相対的に遠位方向に進めることにより再捕獲されうる。

を含む人工器官カートリッジを用意すること、及び
シャフト延長部上の連結部材を可撓性の細長いシャフト上の連結部材に固定し、そしてシース延長部上の連結部材を細長い部材上の連結部材に固定すること、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 半径方向に圧縮可能な人工器官を配置するためのデリバリーカテーテルにおいて、該カテーテルが、
近位端、遠位端、及び遠位端近傍の人工器官容器を有する細長い可撓性のシャフト構造、
シャフト構造の人工器官容器上に配置された少なくとも一つのランナー、及び 少なくともシャフトの人工器官容器の上にスライド可能に配置された管状カバー、
(ここで、カバーは少なくとも一つのランナーに対して人工器官を拘束している)
を含むことを特徴とするデリバリーカテーテル。 - 更に、それらの近位端にて互いに固定されている、複数の軸方向に配置された細長いランナーを含む請求項6に記載のデリバリーカテーテルであって、ランナーの近位端が人工器官容器の近位方向にありかつランナーが束縛された人工器官の遠位方向に延び、そしてランナーが可撓性でありかつシャフト構造に固定されていて、カバーがシャフト構造上を軸方向に移動させられる間、ランナーは人工器官容器の上に残っていることを特徴とするデリバリーカテーテル。
- 圧縮可能な人工器官の配置のためのデリバリーカテーテルにおいて、該カテーテルが、
近位端、遠位端、及び遠位端近くの人工器官容器を有する細長い可撓性シャフト構造、
シャフト構造の遠位端から遠位方向に延びている複数の細長いランナー、ここで該ランナーはカバーのそれよりも大きい硬度を有する、及び
シャフト上の人工器官容器上にスライド可能に配置された管状カバー、
(ここでランナーは、カバーが人工器官容器の上を遠位方向に延びるときは人工器官容器に向かって半径方向に束縛され、そしてカバーが近位方向に引っ込められるときは半径方向に解放される)
を含むことを特徴とするデリバリーカテーテル。 - 更に、カバーの周りにスライド可能に配置されかつ導入シースのバルブシール内に挿入可能な摩擦減少チューブを含み、ここで摩擦減少チューブはカバーに対するシーリング手段を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のデリバリーカテーテル。
- 枝分かれした、半径方向に圧縮可能な人工器官を、枝分かれした体の管腔内に配置するための改良されたデリバリーカテーテルにおいて、カテーテルは、近位端、遠位端、それらの間の軸、及び遠位端近くの人工器官容器を含む細長いシャフト構造を有するタイプであり、そして改良が、
